Alpine Cougar Chalet is located on the Alpine Trails which start beside the clear waters of Fairy Creek and stretch upwards to alpine or forested meadows overlooking the historical Town of Fernie, just a short walk away. It is located just minutes away from the ski hill, golf course, Elk River, and many other activities and amenities. The Elk River is famous for its fly fishing.
Relax in luxurious comfort in our quiet, private hand-crafted log accommodation nestled in a forest setting and surrounded by spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. The chalet is newly and comfortably furnished with Alpine flair. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a convection oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and cooking and eating utensils to accommodate a variety of food preparation for large groups. The large windows provide lots of natural lighting and fabulous views. It has three queen beds, and two queen sofabeds in the great room and loft. The Great room has a magnificent stone woodburning fireplace to relax by. After a day of skiing, golfing, hiking, biking, canoeing, rafting, or fishing, enjoy the large hot tub on the deck and the covered outdoor lounging area.
