Angel Fire Resort continues to hold its status as the TOP mountain biking destination in New Mexico. World class events including the UCI World Cup, Collegiate National Championships and Mountain States Cup have resulted in now legendary downhill and cross-country trails and perhaps one of the best 4-cross courses in the country. The mountain has plenty of switchback tree trails, rolling cruisers and wide, scenic vistas for the novice rider as well.

Why the Owner Chose Angel Fire
We chose Angle Fire to purchase a vacation ski home for several reasons. Angle Fire has a real family environment, the people are friendly, and it is the closest ski resort to Central Texas. We wanted a home large enough to hold our family and friends, normally around 20-25 and we wanted a ski-in, ski-out, and the Wright Family Lodge is all that and more.
The Unique Benefits at this Log Home
There are many benefits to the Wright Family Lodge. Younger members of the family who do not ski, can stay at the house with some of the non-skiers, but still see the other family members ski by the house. If you get hungry while skiing, you can stop in for snacks and hot chocolate without spending a fortune. In the summer months, you can walk down the slopes to the village for a good hike, or enjoy the wrap-a-round deck and swing. The weather is GREAT in the summer and there is plenty to do for all ages. If you have a large group like we do, there is ample parking for everyone at the house.

Prior to purchasing our home in Angel Fire, we have skied as a family and rented homes or condo's at Angel Fire, Taos Ski Valley, Red River, and in Colorado at Breckenridge, Dillion, Winter Park, and Copper Mountain.
