Located in the very popular Glacier's Reach townhouse complex this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo features a private hot tub & BBQ on the outdoor patio, as well as a heated pool & Hot Tub in the complex. Located in close proximity to all of the elements that make up the magic of Whistler, leave your car in the underground garage, relax & enjoy your vacation!
With its bike wash station and secured bike locker (only accessible with high security key), the townhouse is suitable for mountainbike-enthusiasts.
The Whistler Village Stroll, a pedestrian-only promenade lined with shops and restaurants that winds into the heart of the Village, begins directly across the street. As well, it is only an eight-minute walk to the lifts (or catch the FREE shuttle directly across the street), and The Marketplace, Whistler's largest shopping centre, is also located across the street. The townhome is just minutes from three world-class golf courses, and the Glacier's Reach complex adjoins the Valley Trail system, allowing for easy access to hiking, biking, and cross-country ski trails.
The home sleeps up to six people in three or four beds. There is a king-size bed in the master bedroom (or divide into two twins), a queen-size bed in the second bedroom, and a queen-size sofa bed in the living room.
In addition to the private hot tub, some of the features of this home include a fully-equipped kitchen, a gas BBQ, a 42' flatscreen and second TV in bedroom, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, gas fireplace, Jacuzzi, deep soaker tubs, internet access/WiFi, a DVD player and a CD stereo player with iPhone/iPod dock. As well, guests have access to the outdoor heated pool, sauna, fitness centre, underground secured parking, guest parking and bike/ski storage in the Glacier's Reach complex.

The description was accurate. The place is a bit older but very clean and everything was provided. If any issues came up they were dealt with promptly. Nice to have washer and dryer in unit. We were able to bring in a small barbecue which was appreciated. You can park your car and leave it your entire stay. Location is convenient, and quiet - close to marketplace so very handy. We would stay there again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Glacier's Reach #4 was good at best. The pictures are DEFINITELY from when the unit was still new. The Bad The condo gets very humid and we needed the fans on and doors open most of the trip. Air conditioning does not work. The hot tub is overly chlorinated and the temperatures are not accurate (says 104 but probably around 98 degrees). The twin beds that combine don't really combine, when you sleep there's a crevice that you fall into. The dishwasher has a trick that you need to figure out to get it to turn on. The unit is really dated, probably hasn't been renovated. Compared to our friends who rented unit 23 (similar pricing) in Glaciers reach, #4 was a dump. You can hear everything from above (see below). Lastly, the shower head in the second bathroom is terrible. Water just dribbles out. The Good Great location. Right behind the market and village. Easy to get in and out of when you want to go out. Apparently soundproof to the neighbours above. We had music on pretty loud and we talked to them to ensure we weren't being loud (we could hear their kids stomping around though). Summary The condo isn't fancy by any means but it's adequate. Nothing went wrong and everyone had a good time. There are lots of small things that bother me but once you get used to them you're fine. Excellent location. Didn't need to drive at all.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Hi Jeff, Thanks for taking the time to review Glacier's Reach #4, we value your feedback & have looked into the various issues raised. * We have had the air-conditioners tested and they are now working effectively. * We have had the Hot Tub thoroughly checked & have not had any other issues relating to the temperature. The Hot Tub is managed by a professional company who keep the chemical balance optimal & safe for guests. * The twin beds push together & are joined with a foam panel in the centre as well as a King mattress protector over the top, as per standard industry practice. * The dishwasher now has instructions to assist guests with the "trick", thanks for highlighting this. * The ensuite shower-head is being replaced, once again we appreciate the feedback. We are glad you found the condo to be soundproofed, as with any condo there will always be some noise from neighbours and we hope that our guests will be as respectful to their neighbours as your group was. We agree that is a great location as you don't need to have a car & can just wander across the road to all the village facilities. We will be looking into renovating the condo in 2013, and until then we hope that guests will enjoy our great rates, comfortable amenities & fantastic location. We hope to have you stay again soon. We had 4 adults staying here, and it was just perfect for us. Right across the street from the IGA, the main grocery store in the village. Then Whistler village is a walk through that shopping area. We could also walk to some trails, although the best hikes were out of town. We enjoyed the hot tub, having a washing machine and the stereo set-up accomodated an ipod for some music in the living area. Clean and as-advertised.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This condo is as shown in pictures, though being on the bottom floor is pretty dark. It was very easy to leave your car parked the entire time as the Whistler village pedestrian area is right across the street. It would be crowded for 6 people as living room is small and that is where guests 5 and 6 would be sleeping! Not fancy, but adequate. Stocked with coffee, tea, laundry soap, etc. We would stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.
