My wife and I had never been to Oregon, so we decided to visit the Portland area on our honeymoon. The Fox Farm Cottage was cozy, with all of the amenities of home and then some. Its location is secluded enough to offer a feeling of privacy, but close enough to Portland that you can go explore when you’re ready. Our host, Heidi, was most gracious and made us feel welcome upon our arrival. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend Fox Farm Cottage to anyone looking for a get-away.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

Choose this place because you sure won't be disappointed! It is a perfect little cottage in a perfect little park! The yard is just beautiful and the cottage is so clean, homey and comfortable with everything that you need. Even breakfast in the frig! Just imaging sleeping in a comfortable bed, waking up to have your husband cooking breakfast and then going out to sit in the sunshine to drink your morning coffee while being dressed in the nice soft terry cloth robe that they provide for you. Yep, life is good! They have it all at Fox Farm Cottage, you will never want to leave! Thank you Heidi for everything, all five of us just had a ball! If we ever get up that way again I hope that we can stay there!

My husband and I, along with 2 friends had the pleasure of staying at Fox Farm Cottage for 5 days while enjoying the gorgeous wine country. The house had absolutely everything we needed, and offered the most peaceful and well maintained garden imaginable. We could easily have stayed in the yard for the entire week, it was most relaxing! It was a pleasure to meet Heidi and see the loving care she gives the garden- the photos do not do the yard justice. We stayed in Portland before traveling to Fox Farm Cottage, and recommend Higgins and Cabazon. In Dundee, we would recommend Dundee Bistro and Farm to Fork. We cooked many meals at home, as all manner of cooking equipment was available at the house. Thanks for a relaxing time and especially the hot tub! J & D, K & D

This was our second stay at the Fox Farm Cottage and my husband and I invited our children that live in Las Vegas to join us at the Cottage. Our stay from beginning to end was fabulous. The cottage is comfortable and Heidi has certainly anticipated any needs that one might have while staying at a rental. Our entire family had a wonderful vacation and will certainly return the next time we are fortunate to visit Oregon Wine Country,

We rented the cottage for a long weekend girls trip. It was the perfect setting, perfect place and overall perfect vacation. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy all of our meals there and then some! Quiet relaxing location to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit! Too many wineries nearby to even visit a third. The owner Heidi was very friendly, flexible and helpful in narrowing down a few must see wineries. I definitely recommend the Fox Farm Cottage for any kind of wine country getaway!

Fox Farm Cottage is a two bedroom cottage equip with everything you would need for a relaxing long weekend or a week vacation. The house is beautifully kept with everything you could ever need including a fully stocked kitchen (including eggs and bacon in the fridge - WOW!), television and movies, stereo, hot tub, BBQ and more. The property provides you ultimate privacy with easy access to downtown dundee as well as wineries galore. We ate at the Joel Palmer house which was AMAZING. The Mushroom Soup and Mushroom tart were out of this world. I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Oregon. Thank you for everything!

For two couples that enjoy both dining out in wonderful restaurants and cooking at home, Fox Farm Cottage is a real gem. Right in the heart of Willamette Valley wine country, there are great places to dine, especially Heidi and Jack's restaurant,The Joel Palmer House, in nearby Dayton. Also, it is easy to find food and wine to take back to Fox Farm to create a wonderful meal in a fully equipped kitchen. The well stocked pantry and fridge at Fox Farm Cottage is more than you find in most vacation rentals. Here we had very nice kitchen equipment, a supply of olive oil and dried herbs in the cupboard, and rosemary growing in the yard. Great place to relax.

We spent a few days wine tasting with friend in the Dundee area. Fox Farm cottage was the perfect getaway for us. Heidi is a wonderful host. We were able to whip up our own "gourmet" meals and enjoy the wine we had found during our touring. The jacuzzi was a welcome after a hard day of sipping pinots. I just wish that the weather was better so that we could have enjoyed the patios. There is a garage to store your vehicle out of the rain. The living room is cozy with a huge TV. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and large. What a value!
