Doug and Lori purchased this apartment and the surrounding property in early 2013. The building has now become a neighborhood gem. The first floor was brilliantly restored to house Valley Wine Merchants, a wine mercantile with a wall of wine that will make any wine taster giddy. The owners are excited to offer the second story (The Newberg Downtowner) to travelers from near and far. The Downtowner Newberg is filled with amazing finds from Doug's experience as an auctioneer that he couldn't wait to share.

Perfect Touches
This may be my favorite VRBO rental ever! The detail and extra touches, including really updated bathrooms, were perfect. The kitchen was updated and well appointed. We enjoyed the living area and we even jammed out to Saturday Night Fever on the record player. We hope to be back many times to enjoy the area's many fine wineries.
Adorable perfection
Everything about this apartment was perfect - location, amenities, decor and interaction with the owner. We loved everything about it. We enjoyed cozying up on the couch in mornings as we planned our day. We found great coffee shops, restaurants and a wine bar all in walking distance.
It was a perfect place to venture into wine country and return for a great meal at the end of the day.
It was a great place to celebrate my daughters college graduation.

Lovely Apartment in Oregon's Wine Country
Lori's and Doug's apartment in Newberg, OR, is gorgeous! This is definitely the nicest VRBO/AirBNB we've ever stayed in--and that includes a handful of European places. The furniture/beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms were super clean and had great appliances/water pressure. Lori made the check-in/check-out processes incredibly easy.
The apartment also had a great location. We could get to almost all the Willamette Valley wineries within 20 minutes. There is also a handful of delightful stores/restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. There are 2 wine tasting rooms right downstairs. The Coffee Cat had great coffee and bagels. And there's a new pizza place called Honey Pie right behind the apartment.
If you're looking for a place to stay in the Willamette Valley, this should be your first choice.

Perfect location and enjoyable space.
We were in the area on a girls trip to do wine tasting and chose to stay in Newberg. This apartment was the perfect spot. Wine tasting rooms, boutique shops, coffee, restaurants and a grocery store were all within 4 blocks, so we didn't need a car. This was an easy pick up spot for the car service we used to visit the wineries, Pinot Cars. The apartment was clean and an inviting space to come back to after a day exploring the valley. The fireplace was a nice touch for a rainy cool spring day and pairs nicely with a glass of wine. The bedding and towels were high quality, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a big brunch before visiting wineries. The neighborhood was quiet at night and vibrant during the daytime. I would come back here next time I'm in the area.
