And here are some of the comments direct from just a few of our guests!
"We stayed in the second floor apartment on two separate occasions for a total of seven days during our month-long stay in Spain. We are a family of five (kids aged 22, 21 and 20), and we were all comfortable there. Not only was the apartment spotless, but the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware. We were pleased with the large selection of restaurants in the area (we liked Soria right up the street). A bakery on the corner supplied us with fresh bread, and a supermarket just a few blocks down was perfect for the balance of our grocery needs. Another big plus was the proximity to the museums and to Retiro Park. We also walked to Sol on many occasions, however, the metro is conveniently located just two blocks away and is easily accessed for those of you who choose not to go on foot. Suzanne and Santiago were conscientious and helpful, returning emails promptly and answering all of our concerns. By the end of our seven days here, we were sad to leave! We will definitely stay again if we ever return to Madrid!" (USA)

The apartment was convenient to the train station as soon as we figured out the front from hte back. Location was a neighborhood without all the traffic but a very easy walk to Prado & other sights. Really perfect location. Suzanne was great help pointing out neighborhood restraunts & bars, and was very helpful. I would do this again. Very clean 2 bedrooms with nice sitting area. Would like to stay longer but wouldrecommend to anyone looking for stay in Madrid.

My husband and I came to Spain for the first time this December and had a great experience with this rental. Suzanne and Santi were very responsive over email and they answered all of our questions thoroughly. Upon arrival, Silvia showed us how everything works and gave us tips about shops and tapas bars in the neighborhood (We really liked Bodega Rosell) as well as the major attractions in the rest of Madrid. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained, and it had everything we needed. We liked the location especially - It is SO CLOSE to Atocha train station and to the museums, yet it's nestled in a quieter neighborhood, away from heavy traffic and crowds. We didn't have a car and were happy walking throughout Madrid from this location.

Suzanne and Santi were extremely helpful and answered my many emails promptly. I appreciated that a lot. We were in the 1st floor apartment and it was a great landing spot for our family of 3. Close to the subway, train and bus station. We liked that it was off the main street...it was quiet and peaceful. The apartment was a nice size and had a good kitchen set up for Europe. If you're looking for a centrally located place to stay in Madrid, this works.

Thank you Suzanne and Santi! We loved staying in your wonderful apartment. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The little kitchen was perfect for breakfast and snacks--I'm sure we could have cooked a full meal had I been so inclined. There was plenty of room for all of our stuff as well as room for us to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Great bathroom with plenty of hot water for showers. The location is great. 2 blocks from the subway and 3 stops to Puerta del Sol. The neighborhood had so many wonderful little restaurants and bars. Bar Soria was great for morning coffee and a memorable, reasonably priced lunch. Bodegas Rosell was picturesque. We enjoed tapas and wine there--our only regret was that we didn't go there more than once! I would highly recommend your aparatment to anyone traveling to Madrid. I can't wait to come back again myself!

Suzanne and Santiago were conscientious and helpful, returning emails promptly and answering all of our concerns. The only negative is that we are not accustomed to city noise, and on occasion the street was noisy. However, this could be easily overlooked since all of the other positive features make this a wonderful choice. It is always preferable to stay in a less touristy part of town, and this location fit the bill. By the end of our seven days here, we were sad to leave! We will definitely stay again if we ever return to Madrid!

Extremely nice owners. Try their best to accommodate your requesst. Check in process was painless. Location of the apartment is good. You feel like you are in a local part of the city versus a touristy part. Located 2 blocks from the Atocha train station. Lots of restaurants close by. We really liked Bodegas Rosell it was our favorite . We also ate at Bar Soria, it was right on the corner, nice service and inexpensive. Supermarkets are less than a block away. Good bakery as well on the corner about a block away. PROS - Good Location - Local area of town - Great Owners - Perfect for larger families - Safe part of town CONS - None that I can think of Pictures accurately depict this apartment. We took three day trips out of Madrid. Close proximity to Atocha made them easy. Toledo, Segovia, Avila and El Escorial.

This apartment was clean and well furnished. It is in a residential area, not a tourist area, but is within easy walking distance of most tourist sites, particularly the big museums and Retiro park. There are small markets, a merkado, bakeries, and local restaurants in the immediate area. We ended up not using our full complement of metro/bus tickets, as we most often just walked. It is in a complex where families live, and while it was not noisy, there was the bustle and activity of young children. There was no traffic noise.

The apartment is in a great location, a 5 minute walk to the metro and easy to get to from the airport using the metro. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked and the heat worked, since the weather was cold and rainy! Nice neighboored, we enjoyed walking and found some good supermarkets. Would love to come back in the spring!

The apartment worked out great. Location fantastic. Close to Atocha, Metro and Museum mile. Suzanne and Santi could not have been more accommodating. When my daughter's bag was lost by the airline, Suzanne spoke to them on our behalf and had the bag delivered to them and brought it to us. Thank you! If you don't mind walking with your luggage, like us, you can take the Express bus from the Airport to Atocha for $2 Eur and walk to the apartment.
