Location: Bozeman, Yellowstone Country, Montana, USA (5 mi to Bozeman, 4 mi to Airport, 90 mi to Yellowstone Park) View Map
Accommodations: House, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)
Located in the Outlaw Country equestrian subdivision north of Bozeman, you may enjoy sunrises, sunsets, outdoor activities, or just peace and quiet. It has private river access and hiking trails. Cross country ski on the property, roast marshmallows on a campfire, dine on the patio, or relax in the 900 sq ft main room.
You are far enough away from town for star gazing without interference from city light and close enough to have pizza delivered. You are located within 10 minutes of most Bozeman shopping centers, grocery stores and restaurants.
The subdivision park offers trails by the river and there are gravel running trails located across the street. The trail head for mountain hikes is 2 miles away.
Close to Bridger Bowl ski area (30 minutes), Lewis & Clark Caverns (45 minutes), Big Sky ski area (60 minutes) and Yellowstone Park (90 minutes). You can spend the day skiing or at Yellowstone Park, and have a relaxing evening waiting for you when you return.
As a Vacation Rental Guest, you can expect more privacy than you would find in a condo because there are no adjacent walls to the 2nd story living area - just 360 degrees of great views. This 1500 sq ft living area is located above the 1500 sq ft garage where your car is located. There is room to park several cars in the garage if you have company.
Our rates are the lowest and our guests appreciate the value we offer to them. We also have a crib, playpen, and high chair for younger families.
The patio is 10' by 80'. The fire pit allows you to enjoy a campfire together and roast marshmallows for s'mores. The covered patio allows you to be outdoors in the rain.
Horses are quiet animals so you get the benefit of peace and quiet as well as the rural Montana feel. We have seen deer, fox, and numerous types of birds (eagles, hawks, quail) in the back pasture.

Air Conditioned Outlaw Hideout with Private River Access
Year Purchased: 2009
Why the Owner Chose Bozeman
On the map to the right, click Satellite and (+) and you will see that we benefit from open spaces and a neighborhood setting. We moved to the equestrian subdivision in 2000. In, 2008, we built an oversized garage (30 x 50) onto the house and decided to add a second story above the garage that would offer guests a private place to stay.
The Unique Benefits at this House
One picture window faces the sunrise over the Bridger Mountains. The other picture window faces the sunset over the Gallatin Valley and lights of the cities. Sitting around the campfire and roasting marshmallows while telling stories makes wonderful memories. Sitting in a rocking chair or glider under the covered porch, even in a rain shower, is very relaxing and the rainbows are awesome.
Owner's Map of Bozeman
My wife and I love the Bozeman area and have been here since 1980. It is close to so many recreational activities that we try to take advantage of them as much as possible. The benefits of living in the equestrian subdivision are the trails by the river for walking or riding. You can see the open spaces that provide privacy and quiet and the river in close proximity. Our 3 kids are married and living around the country and we have two grandchildren.

We just returned from Bozeman MT. Staying at this place was so much like home. The owners met & far exceeded our expectations in hospitality. We have rented thru VRBO numerous times but this was by far the greatest one we have stayed in. We did a lot of day trips to Yellowstone National Park and surrounding scenic areas. Was convenient to many ways. With our son in grad school at MSU we would certainly recommend it to anyone else that is going to that area.

We stayed recently 05/2011 when our granddaughter finished her first year at MSU. I cannot express what a wonderful stay we had. The apartment is clean and well furnished. Bob and Jean (the owners) couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. The setting is peaceful - you are out of the city enough, yet close enough to get everywhere you want to go. Close to the freeway makes for easy access to all your travel destinations. We were close to Yellowstone (north entrance) that it makes an easy day trip. This is a well valued property - I believe the best you will ever find. Once you stay, you'll be hooked. I hope our family has the opportunity to stay again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Everything you need for your visit is available to you. From a crib, high chair or hide-a-bed, to a full size kitchen with all the supplies; you won't need anything. There was ample space for our family of six and the location is perfectly close to Bozeman. Or, if you want to venture out, Yellowstone is only an hour and 25 min away as are many other great attractions. The neighborhood is great and the super friendly hosts are sure to accommodate your needs.

I can't remember ever staying in a more clean, comfortable spot away from our home. It certainly made dropping my son at MSU much less painful. From the description provided, to the friendly knowledgable information, this stay was everything we expected and more. I will surely stay at the "Outlaw Hideout" again and hope to tell others of this as well. Tim, Riley and Gavin , Lakeville, MN

My daughter (travel agent) found this place to stay. The owners give exact information. If a person was to live in Bozeman, this is the area! The owners answered any questions and then left us alone. The home is beautiful, very clean, lots of entertainment with games, videos, etc. (very good for a family). They had lots of utensils, dinnerware, etc. Lots of bedding and could have held a number of more than the 4 of us very comfortably. The house was nicer than the pictures showed. I would and have recommended this property to other people. Thanks for a great stay. Oh, the views are breath taking too.
