Designed in 1956, for a member of the duPont family, Great River House’s total renovation by modernist architect Tom Reed combines posh and casual ambiance, stunning expanse, state of the art technology (wifi, Ipod connections &cable TV) with the natural setting. The 7,500 square foot home is filled with island crafted mahogany furniture preserving the old Jamaican great house tradition with modern designer fabrics, Kohler-designed en-suite bathrooms with water tiles, chef’s kitchen and an expansive Entertainment/Library/Game room [ 32” flat screen TV /DVD] .

YOU HAVE A FIVE STAR HOME AND A FIVE STAR STAFF! OVERALL PHENOMONAL ACCOMODATIONS!WE TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY AND WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH EVERY DETAIL OF HOUSE AND STAFF! THEY WERE GREAT WITH OUR KIDS AND MAKING SURE EVERYONE WAS HAPPY AND HAVING A GREAT TIME. WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE. HOPEFULLY MANY TIMES!
