We selected this VRBO for our 29th wedding anniversary. The unit was very functional and clean. The photos and listing description accurately reflected the property's condition. Ideal location if you want to hike trails (go right out the door) or enjoy the Broadmoor. The owner was most accommodating and helpful, even mailing my wife's lost cell phone to her after it was found. Thanks for the wonderful weekend.

We loved our stay here! We stayed for 3 nights. The owner was great and gave us a ton of information about the area ( things to do, places to eat, etc). Out the back door were hiking and mountain biking trails. Down the street is Seven Falls, Broadmoor and the Zoo. Minutes from downtown Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods! The place was quiet, clean and nicely furnished. Owner was easy to reach via cell phone. Thanks for a great stay!!!

A Perfect Rental Experience -- Quiet, Clean,, Roomy, Economical and Friendly

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owner was friendly. Take the short walk from the back door to the walking trails up the hill, and you will have a perfect place to watch the sun rise over the city. Highly recommended.

Comfortable Rental in a Great Location!

My husband and I stayed at Bradley's rental for four nights in March 2011. Not only is the rental very comfortable and provides everything you need, but it is also in a very scenic area with lovely views and great hiking. I used to live in Colorado Springs and this area of the city was always one of my favorites. It is very peaceful, and you have city and mountain views. The trails leading out from the back of the rental are great; you can hike up to the reservoirs and way beyond towards Cheyenne Mountain. In a very short drive you can visit North Cheyenne Canon park, one of my favorites. You are also minutes from the Broadmoor, downtown, or Manitou Springs. The rental is also a great place to relax at the end of the day. From the living room you can see the lights of the city. The flat screen TV and leather couches were great! I highly recommend this rental for couples or small families. Laura

Comfortable Rental in a Beautiful Location

This was our first stay outside of a hotel in Colorado Springs, and we'll likely use only VRBO.com for future visits. We were busy with events from early morning till late at night, so we didn't get to enjoy the apartment's amenities as well as most. The location was a little hard to find, even with our car's navigation system. The owner, Brad, was kind enough to steer us in on our phone. The setting is very quiet and bucolic, the apartment and its furnishings are very comfortable, and the VRBO listing description is completely accurate. The bathroom was tiny and very clean, and while we only had one opportunity to use the spotless kitchen, it was well stocked for cooking breakfast. The bedroom had plenty of closet and drawer space, the couches were very comfortable, and the flat screen TV would have been nice if we had time to watch it. Our teenage son slept for one night on the couch, and that was fine. He said the room was very quiet. Brad lives onsite, a neighbor lives across the way, but it felt like we were the only ones there. Every morning on our way out, we spotted a fox trotting along the road. Most mornings we also spied deer, usually drinking out of the neighbors' bird baths. We observed hikers just starting along a nearby trailhead. Wish we had time to hike it. The night sky is spectacular from the porch. All in all, a very pleasant place to stay.

A comfortable, nicely furnished and equipped place a stay in a beautiful location. I stayed for a weekend preceding a business trip and it was perfect. Very nice "home base" from which to explore Colorado Springs, including going for a hike right out the back door. Brad was a great host as well. This was much better than a hotel.

We stayed for a week in September and enjoyed our stay very much. Great to be next to a hiking trail instead of the Interstate. Well appointed and comfortable apartment. Only thing missing was a corkscrew. One day a deer was sitting in the brush next to the parking area and the next day we saw a black squirrel exploring the back yard. Owner helpful and friendly. Thanks for providing coffee, Bradley!

Recently returned from 5 days in this homey unit. Very clean and well-equipped. Large kitchen and comfortable arrangement. Quiet with immediate access to beautiful walking/biking trail. Within minutes to most attractions, shopping, restaurants. Owner is extremely accommodating and available if needed. We plan on returning very soon and highly recommend this rental unit!

What a great place! Close proximity to so many attractions. Even though the owner lives adjacent to the rental, he was not intrusive whatsoever. Couches were comfy, flat screen tv was nice, plenty of closet/drawer space. Most importantly, very clean.

My son and I stayed at Brad's apartment rental, and we loved it! The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The hiking and biking trails behind the place were excellent! We plan to return in the future. We highly recommend this rental to anyone!
