"Atelier" is a nice furnished, confortable and elegant city apartment. It has one bedroom, one bathroom (in february 2010 renewed), a spacious living and dining area with a sofa bed for 2 people and a brand new kitchen. It is located in the old centre of Lucca, within the city walls in one of the quiest area of the town on the 2nd floor of an elegant and antique palazzo. In the apartment you can admire the typical tuscan "cotto" floor and a wonderful wooden-beam ceiling. "Atelier" is the ideal startingpoint for daily trips (Pisa: 30 min, Florence: 1 hour, seaside in Viareggio: 20 min.) and it is in walking distance from main museums, train and bus station, main shopping street, language schools and restaurants. Internet Cafè right on the corner.

I love so much my city that I think it is one of the most beautiful in Italy and beyond. So, one day, I decided that a small piece of the city had to be mine, and finally in March 2011 I was able to make my dream come true.

My Boyfriend and I just spent 14 beautiful days enjoying Lucca the surrounding Tuscany area. The apartment is full of character and connected us to the ancient history of Lucca. It is in a very convenient location for shops, restaurants, transportation, the main information center. The owner Giuseppe is very gracious and was very helpful with suggestions of restaurants, with ideas for touring Lucca and the surrounding areas. We enjoyed his and his wife's hospitality and we felt we had friends when we were there. We strongly recommend this place to anyone who visits this beautiful and romantic ancient city.
Recommended for:Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Lovely apartment. Very clean with modern bathroom and kitchen. Very helpful and friendly owner. Apartment located in a great area especially if you intend on visiting local restaurants. Would recommend a visit to the museum opposite the apartment. Would stay here again.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway.
