Seeing the Coos Bay area was wonderful and then to come back to this cozy little cottage and the fabulous view was beyond belief. Russ and Posie have thought of everything to make this a home away from home. There is a games and crafts room fully supplied for rainy days or evenings. Sand toys for the children, umbrellas for those rainy days (of which we didn't have any). The day before we left Posie came over and gave us muffins which were awesome and very unexpected. We were sorry to have had only 3 nights here. A week would have been wonderful and very relaxing. We will be back as we didn't have enough time to make a driftwood decoration.

We had a wonderful time at Pigeon Point Place! Russ and Posie were wonderful and very inviting. The view was amazing. We watched the tide come in and out every day/night. I am grateful Russ and Posie allowed us to bring our two little chihuahuas, as they had a great time especially watching the birds through the windows. This is a perfect retreat that is quiet, cozy and still has alot to do even in the house with all of the games and crafts! The home was very clean and decorated like a true beach retreat! Thank you again Russ and Posie for sharing your home with us and for the home made muffins as they were delicious!!

We had the best time. Very relaxing spot, wonderful view that changes daily. Our large dog loved the walks on the flats. This is a perfect spot for you to relax and there are so many places to explore that are close. Great regular shopping & antique shops up and down this coast for you to wander through. We recommend for everyone. This place was extremely clean as well. We will return as soon as we can. Can't forget the fresh muffins, they were wonderful.

I stayed here with my mother and my two kids and very much enjoyed my stay Pigeon Point. The property is nicely located in a bay area. We sat and watched the tide come in one evening, and walked the shore line earlier. The home was clean and comfortable...with added bonus of a fun games room for the kids. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!!!

Although we arrived much later than planned and had to leave early the next morning, we couldn't have been more impressed with our experience! Owners Posie & Russ have worked very hard to create a unique beachfront getaway and are some of the most patient and welcoming folks you'll ever meet! We didn't arrive until almost midnight but they were so accommodating we really wish we could've stayed longer! Beautiful setting, neat hidden game room, and thoughtful extras like crafts and homemade muffins make this a great place for kids & adults alike. Can't recommend it highly enough & next time we plan on staying in the area it'll be here!

This was the first stop on our honeymoon. When we arrived the couple that owns the house greeted us and showed us around. The husband gave us the tour of the outside and his wife the inside. To say the least we were very much delighted with the thought and work they have done to make Pigeon Point an extremely comfortable and fun getaway. This website doesn't even do this place justice.....what with the games galore and the view, watching the tide going in and out every day and night (perfect)! During low tide you can walk out a thousand feet and hunt for clams. At night after a beautiful sunset there's plenty of stuff to do inside, from cards to table shuffleboard. Whether your a family of four or just a couple looking to getaway Pigeon Point is a fantastic place to stay with all the ameneties of home and more! We will be back!
