This log cabin is right off of Beech Mountain Parkway in Banner Elk North Carolina. It is very close to several ski mountains. This property is approximately one mile above sea level so during the winter season I recommend a four wheel or all wheel drive vehicle. The cabin has three levels. The loft is the master suite with a king bed and plasma television and beautiful views of the Appalachian mountains. The small touches count here with luxury bedding, chaise lounge and private bath with spa robes.
The main level of the loft is expressed with a more casual feel starting in front of the rock gas fireplace and French doors to the upper level deck. The area has cozy furniture accompanied by an entertainment armoire filled with plasma television and family games.
The open floor plan move you from the living area into either the dining room with a table for six and kitchen area filled with stainless appliances and stocked with cookware in case you yearn for dinner in.
The lower level has a bonus room with a bar sized pool table and bar stools. There is also a bedroom with queen bed and full bath. The washer and dryer are also housed on this level. French doors lead to the lower level deck containing the large hot tub that seats 6 - 8 persons.
Vacation in style and comfort. In summer there is rafting, canoeing, kayaking etc. Fall is beautiful during the changing of the colors as leaves prepare to fall before the winter ski and snowboard season.

Why the Owner Chose Banner Elk
Our favorite place in the mountains is just across the street from the cabin. It is Archers Mountain Inn. They have the best restaurant called Jackelope's and upstairs is The Vault bar located on the side of Beech Mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina.
The Unique Benefits at this Log Cabin
This tri-level cabin has 4 bedrooms, three bathrooms, hot tub, two decks with awesome views, and a beautiful rock gas fireplace accompanied by up-lighting on the main level which is very romantic in the evening. A pool table and hot tub are on the lower level. The cabin is approximately two miles from Ski Beech and about 5 miles from Ski Sugar. Also not far from Hawksnest, Screamtime Zip Line, Tanger Outlet in Blowing Rock, Lees McCrea College, Appalachian Ski Mountain in Boone, Grandfather Mountain, the famous BlueRidge Parkway, and so much more. Aside from skiing the area offers guided fishing, rafting, canoeing, hiking, golf, caving, and so much more. Even Nascar fans venture our way because we are so close to Bristol. A site not to miss is during autumn when the trees change color.

Hi, My name is Tammy. I have been in the military for 18 years. I am a First Sergeant in the Arkansas Army National Guard. My husband and I moved to the high country back in 2007. I was not here long enough to enjoy the area before I was deployed to Iraq. I am now back home and have fallen in love with the area. We do not live too far from our cabin, just a little over an hour. We look forward to others enjoying it as much as we do.
