This house is fully loaded in the kitchen, bathrooms, and even the secret kids room. Plus it sleeps 10 comfortably.

HOUSE RULES:

NO GLITTER/NO DYE: Glitter is almost impossible to remove and will result in a $1,000 fine to cover excess cleaning. Do not use any temporary or permanent hair dye or other dye products in the rental. Evidence of dye will result in a $500 fine or more if damage occurs to sink, floors, carpets, etc. Primary contact is responsible for all guests along with anyone who enters the home during the stay to abide by these rules.

No Smoking of any Kind: Smoking of any kind will result is a $750 additional cleaning and Ozone fee. This includes, but is not limited to vaping, cigarettes, marijuana, or any other form of smoking.

PETS - We only allow ONE (1) low-shedding dog. Pet Fee is $375 per dog. No cats or any other type of animals are permitted. Dogs must be crated if left alone in condo. Dogs are not allowed on any furniture or beds. This MUST be paid prior to staying at the property, or additional fees apply.

No Parties: If you have a party you will be charged $750 plus damages.

Quiet Time: Quiet time is from 10:00pm-7:00am daily.

HOT TUB RULES
• Must be 18 years old to enter hot tub
• You must shower before entering hot tub
• No glass in or around hot tub
• Consult your physician before entering hot tub
• No lifeguard on duty. Enter at your own risk
• Turn lights off and cover hot tub when done. Clips must be attached or lid will blow off.
• No sunscreen, self tanner, sweat, or any creams can be on your body when entering hot tub
• if you don't follow these rules and hot tub must be drained you will be charged $250 for drain and clean.

The mountain view of Sugar Mountain and the surrounding landscape was awesome. We got 5 inches of snow while we were there and had a great time sledding down the hill. We really enjoyed walking into town. We did so once to twice a day! The stairways are narrow and steep, so as long as you are in good shape, this isn't an issue. The property has plenty of room for everyone!

Great Cabin!

Communication with the host was excellent. This is one of the best equipped/stocked cabins we've stayed at. We had everything we could possibly need. Cabin was very clean as well. Check out process was super easy, very hotel-like. That is a big deal these days especially when other hosts send a 3 page check-out procedure which can be stressful at the end of your trip.

Amazing Family Trip!

We recently stayed at Bill & Brea's place near downtown Banner Elk. It was a perfect spot for our two families. We were able to walk downtown, to the park and to the 4th of July Parade. Our kids loved the game room and the porch was amazing for morning coffees and a glass of wine after the kids went down. The beds were really comfortable and overall had a great stay. We would definitely stay here again, Bill & Brea were extremely responsive and really helpful throughout the stay! Thanks again

Great house

House was great. Only part that was a little odd was the downstairs as to get to 2 of the bedrooms you had to walk through another bedroom. Nothing like saying a lack of privacy for one set. My guess is they turned what was a sitting area into another bedroom and made other rooms have to go through it. Was totally adequate for us as it was all family but if you are mixed families for a trip just know it may be awkward in the bottom level.

Fantastic Find and Just as Pictured!

This house is truly just as pictured beautifully styled and updated inside and out. The layout is perfect for multiple families or friends with a full bath near all of the bedrooms and a family room that leads right into the kitchen with lots of island seating. The game room and hot tub were a huge bonus and the view from the balcony is georgeous. The location is just a couple of minutes to many restaurants and shops in Banner Elk and 15 minutes from Beech Mountain where we skied. The communication regarding the house details leading up to and during our trip were prompt and attentive. They seem to have thought of everything with a place to store skis as you walk in the house and heated mats to keep the snow and ice off the walkway. The bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room were fully stocked. This is an incredible find!

Great weekend stay for The Highland Games

We stayed here for a long weekend to attend the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. It was an excellent location for this. The house is very well appointed, clean, and welcoming. The game room is phenomenal and adorable. Things to know: the King room downstairs is not private. You have to go through the room to get to the twin room and to the queen room. We didn't care, it worked fine for our family, but I can imagine scenarios where that would be unwelcome. Also be aware the steps to get up to the loft bedroom and the stairs to get to the basement bedrooms are narrow and steep. Again, it didn't affect us too much but it should be made aware. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great central location and great newly redone house.

Bill and Brea were great host. They provided a lot of helpful info that made our experience so much easier to navigate. The view off of the back was fabulous. A beautiful view of a snow covered sugar Mountain The house was everything and more than we expected. All the necessities were stocked. Why they chose this property

We purchased Klonteska in January 2024 because it was walkable to the Village of Banner Elk, all the restaurants and shops, and Lees McCrae University as my wife and I are totally in love with Banner Elk.

We love the small town charm, the food scene, and how serene it is here all year round.

Now we have the ability to walk to everything which we couldn’t find in other vacation rentals at least not up to our standards.

We have completely renovated this house with all new furniture, kitchen supplies, and amenities so you will have the comforts of home as the house is fully loaded.
