Our condo in the town of Kihei, south Maui, at Kihei Kai Nani and is a deluxe, 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit. It sleeps 2-4 and is approx. 725 SF including the lanai. It is in a quiet area, about 50 yards to the beautiful 30X60 pool and the adjacent full service laundry facility. If you walk another 75 yards, you can cross the road and be on the wide sandy beach of Kamaole II, one of the best beaches on the island. On most evenings people gather here with their cameras to watch the sunset and no two sunsets are alike.
Our unit was renovated in 2003. We have full tile floor including the lanai. There is a step-in shower(no tub)with a glass block wall, a vanity top sink, and a 3-way adjustable mirror above the sink. The kitchen has a glass top range, microwave oven, dishwasher and full size refrigerator with an ice maker. The kitchen is well equipped.
If the evening trade winds are insufficient, the living room and bedroom each have a ceiling fan for cooling. Also, there is a 15,000 BTU AC in the living room with the switch in the hall by the bathroom.

We certainly enjoyed & appreciated our stay in this beautifully decorated, well equipped and exceptionally clean condo. The welcoming treats left by Hope were an unexpected bonus as was the mid week treat. Our concern over the internet connection was rectified promptly & professionally. The phone call from owner to identify any problems or concerns we might have was much appreciated and also ensured our stay was comfortable and worry free. We do feel a telephone answering machine or call display would be an added bonus to this condo. We made lasting memories during our stay and would definitely consider renting this condo in the future. Mahalo Hope for a "job well done".Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have stayed twice at this lovely condo and can't wait to visit again, hopefully later this year. We had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed talking to Hope amd really appreciated how she kept in touch with us to make sure we were happy with the condo. We especially enjoyed the local goodies she left for us! The condo is very clean and very well maintained and we would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you! (Sorry for the late submission!)Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a wonderful condo! It is set back from the road and is so quiet. It has alot of natural light. There is always a breeze blowing through the condo so we never had to use the air, although there are ceiling fans. It was very clean and everything you could want in the kitchen including a blender. All the beach equipment available. Wonderful bed. Restaurants, ABC store, grocery store and a fresh fruit and vegetable market all within walking distance. We met very friendly, helpful people at this resort. The beach is excellent for swimming, walking, whale watching and having a drink while watching the sunset. Best of all was Hope! She is a gem! She made sure that our vacation at this condo was everything we had hoped for. It was, thanks to her. From the moment we met her at the condo until our last day :( she was available if we needed her. Staying here was the best! We are starting to save for our return trip and we will definetly try to stay here! Mahalo Hope.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

What can I say, this place was PERFECT! I was so happy with my decision to go with this unit as there were many other options out there. Arriving around midnight, the condo was waiting for our arrival with all of the lights on. Inside the fridge there were cold water and sodas left by the property manager/owner. The best part was the whole pineapple there waiting to be eaten! The patio/lanai was clean and had a beach equipment for our use. Snorkels, fins, sand mats, sand toys, etc. The bathroom looks recently remodeled and was great. In terms of location to everything, I couldn't have been happier staying here. The beach was right across the street, and a block or two down they have surf board, paddle board rentals. The next time I go back to Maui, I am definitely going to stay here!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: We are glad you enjoyed our condo James and will look forward to your return. Malhalo!

The complex is RIGHT across the street from the beach, which makes it so convenient to walk to. It's right off South Kihei Road which makes shopping and dining very accessible - even for a walk. Just a mile away from Life's A Beach! The condo has a nice beach feel where you really feel at home. The provided snorkel gear and beach amenities were a plus! Love the new decor! We had such a great stay, and we loved that Hope (the housekeeper) left us some goodies in the fridge. :)Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: You have been in #259 before, so we are glad that you like our furniture changes. Keep coming back!

We had a very comfortable stay at Unit #259. It is a lovely unit and was very well euipped. We had previously had a tour with the owners but it is every bit as nice as the photos. It was very clean and we appreciated all the cleaning products that were on hand to maintain the condo during our long stay. It was very nice to have contact with Hope. She made sure we didn't need anything or have any problems. We loved the treats too! We felt very well looked after. The bed was very comfortable and the towels in the bathroom were lovely and soft! We enjoyed having shops and restaurants in walking distance. The 808 deli is very good as is Fred's. For a treat the 5 Palms restaurant and patio is wonderful for pupus abd the early bird dining - it is such a beaurtiful location. If you are going up country Kula Lodge is great for their brick oven pizza and Colleen's in Haiku is a good lunch stop. We can't wait to return to this condo!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you for your review. Also, thanks for the recommended places we, the owners, can check out.

I have stayed in many condos on the islands - especially Maui. This is one of the best values and nicest accommodations you can find - not only is it clean, well stocked & upgraded...........it is also very quiet. A very private retreat and great place to unwind. Special kudos to Faith who just made the trip that much better. Within walking distance of a great sandwich shop (808 Deli) and a great seafood restaurant called Cafe O'Lei. Great food, service and very reasonable prices. We will definitely return here. Cheers & AlohaRecommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We were pleased to read your review, Joe. Vacation time is important and we want it to be happy time, of course. Maui gives us a chance to kick back and relax or participate in a number of exciting activities that are available to us. Looking forward to your return. Mahalo and Aloha, Patrick and Lee

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at #334062. The condo was very well stocked indeed. We appreciated the beach chairs and boogies boards. Fun thing for us seniorss to try. Hope from Paradise Comforts was the best hostess ever!!! She was so attentive and was available to our every need. She is such a great asset to this condo. The only thing we felt needed replacing was the bedspread. Time for a change. The location of the condo is so excellent. It was quiet away from the main road (except for those interesting birds). Would very much recommend #334062,Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you for your review. Also, we will replace the bedspread. We like to know when things are right and when things are wrong. We hope to have you as a guest again. Aloha, Pat and Lee

My husband and I just spent our 3rd visit to Maui here and it was excellent. I loved the location; Moose McGillicuddy's/Fred's is my favorite place for breakfast, there is a shopping center just next door. Kam II is beautiful and so close, my husband was snorkeling down there one morning and saw a huge turtle and I saw some whales breeching one evening before sunset. I knew about these places from past visits and was determined to stay in this area, the price was a little more than I was hoping for but I am so glad we stayed here. The reservation process was easy and professional, with thorough instuctions. When we arrived to this amazing home, the pictures on this sight are accurate but don't do justice to how inviting the home is and all the little extra's they have provided; treats waiting in the fridge, plenty of beach stuff to use, movie's, books, wifi, a ridiculously well provisioned kitchen for being away from home (host a dinner party with ease, just buy food of couse.) Plus coupon books and the best Maui guide book waiting on the coffee table (I love 'Maui Revealed' so I'd brought the newer edition with me anyway but I was glad to see it was there anyway.) Suffice to say I was impressed by the thoughtful details. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Maui.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you, Lisa Kay, for taking the time to write a glowing review on our condo. Also, we like to know when something is not right, so we can fix it, if possible. We are looking forward to your next visit. Patrick and Lee

My husband and I just returned from a fantastic week in Maui. Our accommodations were terrific. The condo was clean, bright and quiet. The welcome extras left for us by Hope Marie were greatly appreciated! This condo was so convenient to beaches, restaurants, shops etc, that many times we left the car behind and just walked to where we needed to go. Everything we needed was waiting for us, towels, chairs, coolers etc and in good condition. We will definately be back. THANK YOU Hope, you always make our stay in Maui memorable, relaxing and soooo easy!! Owner info
Year Purchased: 2001
About the owner: Patrick and Lee are the owners and live in California. Patrick is originally from Michigan and now a retired real estate broker. Lee is from Maine and a retired RN. They have 5 children, with 2 in CA and 3 out of state. They have 2 daughters and 4 granddaughters in the State of Washington. Also, one son is in Minnesota with 2 granddaughters. When not in Maui they like traveling to see other parts of the world and experience other cultures.
Why the Owner Chose Kihei Kai Nani:
We visited all the Hawaii Islands, but settled on Maui, because it was not too quiet and not too busy. KKN appealed to us because it was a low-rise complex, lush tropical gardens, mixed with the tall flame trees, palm trees and the nearby Kamaole II beach. The lanai on the 2nd level with the mountain/garden view was a strong appeal, also.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our condo is in the back of the complex in a quiet area away from the road traffic and restaurants.
