  we (four adults) spent 7 nights at muriel's place the first week of may and had a great time. 2 of us volunteered at best friends and the other 2 spent the week sightseeing. the house is spacious and clean and it felt like coming home after spending the day volunteering. we loved being able to bring a dog back to the house for a sleep over and the dogs all seemed to love being able to play in the grass in the backyard. i would recommend this home rental to anyone who is spending time in the kanab area as you are really getting a great deal for your dollar. you will not want to spend another night in a tiny hotel room when you realize you can have an entire home for the same amount of money. we are hoping to return to best friends again soon and will happily rent muriel's place at that time.

  Muriel's Place has plenty of room for multiple people to hang out with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a nice living room and large kitchen. The fenced-in yard was great to have for the dogs. Muriel's place is right in the middle of town, down the street from the Rocking V and also within short walking distance from Willow Canyon (open on Sundays!) for coffee, outdoor gear and books. The house was clean, the owner helpful in answering questions during the rental process. Beware that the fireplace cannot be used (in case you were expecting a romantic night in). The deposit was returned promptly. I'll definitely stay here again!

  Muriel's Place was a perfect house in a perfect location! We rented Muriel's Place during our stay in Kanab so we could volunteer at Best Friends. The house was close to town and a short, easy drive to Best Friends.Muriel's Place had everything we needed including a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, plenty of linen, BBQ etc. I would definitely recommend Muriel's place to a friend and would love to stay here again our next trip back to Kanab! The owners responded quickly to my inquiries regarding the property and the process from beginning to end could not have been easier! Thank you for helping us create such a great memory and a great trip!

  This was my second stay at Muriel's Place. It is a wonderful home and is stocked with all the basics. It is clean and comfortable with a great back yard and easy access to town. I feel like I am at my own home when I am there. The neighborhood feels very safe and is peaceful and quiet. The owners have been very kind and reponsive. I just don't think it gets better than Muriel's Place for a home away from home! There is no doubt for me that I will look forward to future visits to Kanab and will definitely stay at Muriel's Place when I am there.

  I recently visited Kanab to volunteer at Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary. I brought my two dogs along, one a best friend's alumni, for a reunion with her caregivers. Muriel's Place felt like home and was perfect for entertaining guests. The home is very well stocked and clean.The location is central to town, best friends, and easy access to neighboring Bryce and Zion National Parks. The dogs enjoyed the fenced back yard, the walks into town, and the hikes up the red cliff to the big K over Kanab. The owners were very helpful and immediately handled a small problem I had. I look forward to my next visit to Muriel's Place.

  This is my 3rd rental in Kanab and Muriel's Place was by far the nicest. The location is great (only about 3 blocks from the main street) and the house was VERY clean. Not a dust bunny or bug anywhere. The yard was very well kept and the back yard is fenced in so it's great if you want to bring a dog home from Best Friends for a sleep over. The property owners were also very easy to work with and were very nice. I will definitely stay here next year.

  Muriels is a great place to stay in Kanab. My wife and I found this place to be an idea headquarters for viewing the natural wonders of the area. The house is in great shape and on a quiet street. It is within two hours drive of the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion NP, and Bryce Canyon NP. We had some nice meals at Houston's and the Rocking V restaurants and would recommend both. The only negative we experienced concerned a slow leak we had in our rental car. We woke up one morning to find that one of the tires on our rental car was flat. I called the rental car company, we had rented in Las Vegas, and they had Ramsay Service Center send a truck to put air in the tire so I could drive the car the four blocks to Ramsay Service Center to get the tire repaired. It would have only taken the Ramsay truck less than ten minutes to reach Muriels house. The tire got repaired for which I was charged $25, which was reasonable. When returning the rental in Las Vegas, I was very surprised that the charge for Ramsay's to drive four blocks was $75. By the time rental car taxes were added to this charge, the total came to $93. I feel that charge to be very excessive for the service that was rendered. Because of this excessive charge, I can not recommend Ramsay Service Center in Kanab. Other than this experience, we had a great time and would recommend Muriels house.

  Muriel's Place was absolutely wonderful! It accomodated every need we could have possibly thought of. The home is cozy and the yard lends itself easily to entertain friends and visitors. The fact that it is pet friendly is not only a bonus for renters but for Best Friends Animal Sanctuary as our sleepover dogs were able to enjoy a true home environment. We were able to volunteer at BFAS and also take some time to see some local sights. I cannot say enough kind things about how easy it was to communicate with the owners and how positive the experience was. We had originally looked at another property but the agent handling it was slow to respond, never answered any questions and was very rude. So our stay at Muriel's Place was meant to be and will always be our FIRST choice when coming to Kanab. We have already and will continue to recommend this property to everyone looking to go to Kanab.

  Muriel's Place was fabulous! The home was so warm and inviting upon arrival and just as pictured. It was very clean and very comfortable for us. The backyard patio was enjoyed after a days adventure out to the surrounding National Parks and breakfast on the patio was most pleasant too. The house was well stocked with all the necessary items in the kitchen. There was plenty of room throughout the house. I great place to stay and do day trips from. Muriel's Place was within walking distance to the main street area of Kanab with grocery store, movie theater, etc. close by. Thank you so much for sharing your home it made our vacation most enjoyable.

  We had the pleasure of spending 10 days at Muriels Place. The house was very comfortable and super clean. They have thought of everything including dishes and toys for the dogs. The yard was nice and large and very well kept. We would stay there again if we have the chance to return to Kanab.
