Breathtaking View of Red Cliffs

Bring your binoculars! House sits at the foot of red canyon wall. Our lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath home can serve as your base camp for visiting 3 national parks or hiking on the 3 well marked local trails starting just blocks away from our home. For a change of pace, visit the local museum to learn more about Kanab's role in western movies and t.v. shows, or take a 10 minute walk to the local aquatic center and playgrounds. When it is time to "kick back", enjoy the neighborhood fitness center, indoor pool or outdoor pool, or just relax on our covered porch and soak in our amazing mountain view. Master bedroom has luxury king bed, 2nd bedroom has queen bed, and 3rd bedroom has two twin beds (can be made up as king for small fee - just ask) for up to 6 guests. High speed WIFI provided. Sorry, no pets allowed.

We had a fabulous stay at your house. We felt right at home and the location was perfect for our adventures to Zion and Bryce national parks. Our grandsons loved using the pool after long days of hiking. My husband and I enjoyed reading on the patio surrounded bt the spectacular red mountains.

Hiker’s haven

Clean, cozy yet spacious space with a nice patio for conversation and star gazing. The home is in a quiet, well kept neighborhood with nearby trails and walking distance to downtown. Great jumping off point for Zion, Bryce, or Grand Canyon. Loved the red rock view from the couch!

The property is a good location for the 2 national parks Zion and Bryce. the town it’s in has hiking trails and good restaurants I would definitely stay there again!

Utah get away!

Property listing was accurate. Beautiful, comfortable home in a quiet safe neighborhood. Cliff views in yard were splendid. Great location for Kanab area sites and National Parks (Zion, Bryce). Connie was a wonderful host. Timely responses to communication. Helpful with booking, date changes, directions and info about the area. Easy check-in and check-out. Was a wonderful get-away in Kanab Utah.

Great stay at this wonderful house in Kanab

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home in Kanab. Very nice and quiet neighborhood in a beautiful setting with all the amenities of home. Comfortable living room with views of the back yard and red rocks beyond, comfy bed in the master (did not utilize the others) and quality spacious bathroom and shower. The kitchen was well equipped, and we loved the convenience of garage parking. Would definitely recommend for a visit to charming and super scenic Kanab area.

Comfortable lovely home in beautiful Kanab

We stayed 2 weeks and greatly enjoyed coming home from a day of wonder to the house to cook, relax, sleep. Enjoyed the morning sun on the back porch and watching the red cliff behind the house change colors at sunset. Location is convenient. very quiet, safe community; house close to stores & restaurants & services.

Beautiful home in an amazing setting close to everything we wanted to do and see. Super comfortable and quiet home with all the amenities allowed us to relax, rest and reset after long days of hiking some awesome places in Utah and Arizona.

Beauty and Relaxation

This home was perfect, from the quiet neighborhood to the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds to the back porch with a gorgeous mountain right behind it! It truly was a peaceful sanctuary for my husband and I, and allowed us to be close enough to visit the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Lake Powell, and various slot canyons. We are so grateful to our host Connie!

Excellent "home base" for local destinations

It would be hard to beat this location for seeing Zion, Bryce Canyon, Glen Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. All while hanging out at a well laid out and outfitted house with it's own canyon just beyond the back wall of the yard. We were even able to bike into town and out around the city reservoir/lake. The property manager was particularly helpful in recommending stops on our route to Kanab. We highly recommend this as an extended stay destination.

Home away from home !

We have stayed at several VRBO offerings and this is by far one of the best places we could have booked. The house was emulate and clean, the surroundings looked and felt safe and the scenery from the back and front yards were beautiful. If it wasn't for the state lockdowns taking place everywhere around us due to coronavirus we would have tried to stay longer. The owner (Connie) was very helpful and informative with places to go and see. The location in Kanab is a good central point to Zion and Bryce with plenty of other things to see in the area. We are planning on making this an annual trip and hope to stay here again. No complaints, it was just what we were looking for.

Perfect location and a beautiful house!

After renting VRBO lodging for 4 nights in Moab and 3 nights in Torrey (both very nice homes), my wife and I spent 5 nights in Kanab, and this place was perfect. From here we made day trips to Zion, Bryce, the north rim of the Grand Canyon and Antelope Slot Canyons/Horseshoe Bend. While all those drives were an hour or more, if we were to make the same trip, we would rent this same location/home. Connie was excellent in responding to my questions, both during the booking process as well as a couple questions after we arrived. The only "problem" we had was that, because we were gone the entire day, we really didn't get enough of a chance to enjoy the comfort and quiet of the back patio! Though we did manage to find some time to relax outside. Thanks again Connie for the accommodations.

Vacation with my husband

The house was perfect! The kitchen has great cookware and was well stocked. We cooked all of our meals in with the exception of one pickup order from Wild Thyme. We spent a lot of time on the patio and backyard. It's very quiet with a breath taking view. The neighborhood was really nice. There were great trails within walking distance. We flew into St. George and stopped into the liquor store there. They had a good selection of wine. The liquor store in Kanab has a better selection of wine than The Border Store in Arizona. It's best to get wine before arriving in Kanab if you appreciate good wine. The two grocery stores were fine, but if you want meat make sure to check out Kanab Custom Meats. They sell beef, chicken and fish. I think it is all frozen. They have great quality meats and could be easy to miss! They sell wholesale but also sell to the public. It was a great vacation and would like to do it again! It's a great place for hiking and relaxing!

Very clean and comfortable home in amazing, peaceful location with lovely community pools

Our international family group (Mom and Dad with 2 college-age kids and Grandma) greatly enjoyed a one-week reunion at Red Cliffs. As we're vacation rental owners ourselves on another platform, we appreciated the high standard of cleanliness and details like good kitchen equipment and hooks on the backs of doors, etc, which make this a well thought-out rental property. They say there are three rules of property which are location, location, location - and Red Cliffs gets these right big time. First of all, the cliff views right in the back yard, and the wonderful hummingbirds every morning there, were sublime. Second, the location for day trips to so many national parks (Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon North Rim) was fabulous. Third, the superbly maintained La Estancia community pools and facilities exceeded our expectations and were just so nice to have within walking distance (we admired but did not use the new pickleball court - our kids would have loved the playground a few years ago) - and since school was in session we largely had the pools to ourselves. Fourth, there is quite a lot to do locally in the Kanab area, including nice walks into the nearby landscape of Tom's Canyon - practically on your doorstep. Connie was a pro in making all the arrangements and really, we could not have found a better place to stay. We will be recommending Red Cliffs to all our friends - even the ones in the UK who will appreciate the electric kettle for making cups of tea!

Beautiful Views!

My husband and I stayed six nights in this home in June of 2020. It was very clean and we felt at home right away. The back covered patio with the gorgeous view of the red rock butte and beautifully landscaped backyard was the place where we enjoyed our coffee each morning and relaxed each evening. Hummingbirds visited us each time we were on the patio. We prepared most of our dinners in the well-appointed kitchen and found the bed in the master suite very comfortable after long days of hiking. Such a great place to unwind after exploring the nearby marvels: Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Zion. A bonus is that the home is just minutes away from the Wave lottery that happens from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Kanab City Hall. One of our highlights was renting an ATV from Kanab Tours. Our guide gave our group of ATV drivers/riders a thrilling 3+ hour trip over the deep sand trails/hills and a stunning, uncrowded tour of Peekaboo Canyon. The gorgeous views in that slot canyon were stunning and our guide made the trip so enjoyable! Who needs the crowds of Antelope Canyon when you have Peekaboo Canyon which is right outside of the town of Kanab? We are already planning a return trip to Utah and will rent this home again if it is available.

Amazing view, clean, comfortable, great location for our plans.

I booked this house based on its cover photo, and I’m pleased to say it did not disappoint. The view of behind the house was nothing short of spectacular. When we weren’t hiking, we sat out on the patio and enjoyed the view! The house was clean, comfortable, and provided ample space and supplies! We contacted the owner for insignificant or personal reasons; she was pleasant and responsive each time! We also appreciated the house’s location to everything we planned to do. Our trip included a visit to Zion, Red Canyon, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Glen Canyon, Toadstool Hoodoos, Kanab Peekaboo Slot Canyon, Sand Caves, Great Chamber, Best Friend’s Animal Sanctuary, and Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. For those interested in travel times: Zion: 35 min to East entrance, roughly an additional 25 (but stunning) minutes to get to the visitor center. Bryce: 1hr 30 min with a few quick stops for photos and to hit the Red Canyon visitor center. Grand Canyon North Rim: 1hr 45min—be sure to hit Jacob Lake Inn for some amazing baked goods, dinner on the way back, and cute gifts! Horseshoe Bend: 1hr 30 min Toadstools: 45 min The others mentioned are right in or around Kanab—good sites for a “down” day! Food options in Kanab are limited and mediocre (again, personal preference), so just be aware of that if you like to eat out. Overall, we loved the house, location, and owner. We would stay here again if we make it back to southern Utah!

House was beautiful, backing right to the canyon wall. Couldn’t ask for a quieter, more peaceful neighborhood. Host was very pleasant and communicative. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, living room was great with a pretty back yard and the canyon view. Everything in town was literally 5 minutes away. Would highly recommend this house if you are staying in Kanab!

I first visited Kanab almost 30 years ago and fell in love with the beauty of the area. I have traveled back several times over the years and brought my children, who also enjoyed the countless activities nearby. Finally, I decided to purchase a little piece of the beautiful red canyon in the lovely La Estancia neighborhood. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
