The owner of this property is very friendly and easy to work with! As the other reviewer said, do not be scared off by the wire request - the owner worked with me and it was very easy to process the wire, etc. The house is very nice and the group of 5 adults (2 couples and 1 single) were very comfortable. The house is located on the very nice area of Belnem with the other approximately 7-8 ocean front houses. It is very quiet and a fantastic view. Six of us stayed for two weeks and we loved every minute! The pictures don't do justice to how beautiful the view is from your back deck. The diving right off the property is very nice and a fairly easy entry. The house is very clean and comfortable, and the owner provides a super cleaning lady 3 times each week. She is happy to do light laundry for you! The third bedroom is a bunk situation, but can be made into a larger lower bed for a couple. Kralendijk is a mere 5 minute drive, and the northern dive sites another 5-10 minutes. Very convenient to southern dive sites especially. No rinse tank for gear, but a nice hose right on the drive works well. You will want a vehicle. Concrete floors do get a little slick for wet feet, but are very comfortable and cool in general. No safe or security system, but we felt very safe for the whole two weeks. We love to cook and the kitchen was very good even without an oven per say. The toaster oven worked fine for our needs. If you are bringing a few things that require being "plugged in", bring along an power strip or adapter. Most plugs are the european type. Nice TV's with satellite ( if you need one!) DVD player is available if wanted. If you like music, bring IPOD and dock. He left us a cel phone to use for restaurant reservations, or to contact him if needed. For calling home, you need your own phone or computer. The AC works well in the bedrooms to use for sleeping, but the front two rooms had so much breeze that we didn't use them! The rest of the house is wonderfully cool with the way it is designed so openly. Even when in the kitchen cooking, you have the whole ocean view right in front of you! The stars at night are amazing off the back deck! We had a full view of the moon, Venus, and Jupitor doing their show for us those two weeks! I was very impressed before we got there with how quickly the owner responded to my email questions. (and I had a lot of them!) He was very friendly and helpful both before we arrived and after we were there. At this time, he is asking for a bank transfer for deposit and payment. That was a little challenge for my banker, but it worked out fine. Don't let it make you nervous! He is a great guy! All in all, we had a fantastic time and are looking forward to next year. We would not hesitate to recommend this house to someone that likes to be away from it all in one of the most beautiful spots in the world. Very quiet and refreshing!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Including 3 X week cleaning, 1 X week pool cleaning, transport from the airport, linens, towels, some groceries and drinks at arrival. Free local phone. Energy and water maximum 20$ per day of usage is included. maximum visitors: 6 No pets, No smoking inside. (Christmas; Easter period + 20%)

About the owner: we a Belgian/Dutch couple with one 12 y/o build this house from 2008-2010. We moved here mid 2010. We decided to travel whilst the house is rented out .
