Come relax at Ocean Blu! A beautiful custom coastal cottage with beach and bay views!
Ocean Blu has a 3 bedroom, 2 bath split floor plan plus a loft and widow's walk. The soothing coastal decor, high ceilings, & custom woodwork provide an absolutely tranquil getaway! Ocean Blu is just a short walk to the beach. There are peek-a-boo beach views from the main deck and amazing 360 degree views of the ocean and bay from the widow's walk and upper balcony.
Ocean Blu has an open living and kitchen area with wood floors through out the home. On the one side of the home is the master bedroom that has it's own bathroom with double sinks. On the other side are 2 guest rooms with a bathroom in between. The master has a four poster queen bed, the bunk room has a full/twin bunk and a twin bunk, and the guest room has a queen bed. The loft has two built-in twin beds and the living room has a sleeper sofa.
The living room has a large flat screen TV and DVD player. All bedrooms have televisions and a DVD player is also located in the bunk bedroom. Phone and internet are available to guests. Stay connected via WI-fi!
You'll be greeted by two extra large porch swings under the home. Also under the home is a built in picnic table and a great outdoor shower to wash off the sand when you come back from the beach.

This was a wonderful family vacation getaway. The photos accurately describe the actual setting. The location is close to the beach. It was well kept & clean. And only 20-30 minutes to ride the ferry to Galveston. Our family of nine (9) had a wonderful time here. Thank you to the owners for sharing their blessing!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

My family and I stayed at this house for a Fri-Sun weekend. There were 7 adults and 3 toddlers. This house can technically fit the total number of people it advertises, but be prepared to be a little squished in the common areas. The living room was a little small and so was the kitchen/dining area, but all in all it will suffice for a short amount of time. This houes is very close to the beach and w/ the help of a wagon, its easy to get the kids out to the beach in no time at all. The walk to the beach takes about 3-5 minutes and is pretty quiet. There are a few houses under construction all around this neighborhood so be prepared to listen to construction crews during the daw. This house has plenty of cooking utinsels as well as a coffee maker. There were muffin pans, and cookie sheets as well in the cabinets. The rental team at Remax was very helpful and extremely friendly. All in all we had a great time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
