Really Beautiful Maui Oceanfront Condo Unit C-17 Napili Point
- Minimum stay:N/A
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Unit C-17 at Napili Point Resort occupies the second and third floors of the three story building, so you have a fantastic view of Honokeana cove as well as the ocean and the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i. The snorkeling in the cove is truly wonderful.
There are many green sea turtles to see, sometimes as many as ten or twelve. You can watch the turtles from your lanai as well. From December through April you may see Humpback whales from your private lanai, and when "surf's up", there will be surfers close by putting on a show for you.
Our unit is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer, and is tastefully decorated in Hawaiian decor. We regularly update the unit for the convenience and comfort of our guests. We have installed free Wi-Fi for guests in our unit, there is also an internet connection through ethernet cord.
There is a beautiful sandy beach a short walk from the unit and the Napili area in general is beautiful and peaceful. If you're looking for hustle and bustle, however, you will be just minutes from Lahaina town and Ka'anapali beach.

Our 4-some (two couples, close friends over the past 3 decades.....) spent a magical 3 days at Napili Point. The white plumeria tree was near full bloom as we arrived, signaling a fine start to our stay. The owner's furnishings, the interior decor, the spaciousness and the welcoming ambiance of paintings were all comforting. But, the views of Honokeana Bay from the living room and the upper bedroom were perfect with the sea turtles rising for air as though they were giving us their own "alohas". We made good use of the kitchen during our stay and enjoyed the use of a nearby grill as well. We met a number of fellow vacationers - all very friendly. When entering the bay for our first snorkeling excursion a vacationer from Manitoba gave us helpful instructions as to just where to enter the water, and which shore croppings to steady ourselves with. We were not prepared for the great numbers of turtles we then began swimming with - at least a dozen within the first 20 feet of the shore! Walks to the nearby Gazebo for our breakfasts and the Sea House (at Napili Kai, just beyond) were beautiful, and simple to take. The food at both of these restaurants is terrific, and when you add in the constant whale-sightings it gets to another exceptional level! It was easy to continue our walks all the way past Napili Bay, then Kapalua Bay, then past Namalu Bay to the point just beyond where there is a bird sanctuary and a walk along the coast that is other-worldly in its lava formations, and weathering with the sea and elements! Naturally, when the hour came for our departure the spirits of the place seemed to know: we'd had a full-moonlit, sliver-lighted sea to drink in during the last hours of the night, to be followed by double-rainbows stretching from Lana'i to Moloka'i in the west, the dozen palm trees reaching out their swaying, friendly arms to us for a last embrace, and a final 'wave' goodbye from the surfacing sea turtles as we took our last views from the living room - how did they all know? Mahalo to the owners and caretakers of this fine place - we hope to return as soon as we possibly can! In gratitude to you all,Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My husband, daughter and son-in-law just spent 6 nights att his beautiful condo in Napili and really had a great time. daily maid service was a pleasant surprise and the location on Honokeana cove is amazing. We watched sea turtles and whales everyday from the lanai, snorkeled in the cove, hiked in Kapalua and had a wonderful dinner at the Sea House. The Napili market is just up the road and makes shopping easy for those eat-in meals. The accomodations are perfect for 2 couples! Can't wait to go back next year.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Just wanted to say thank you to the owners for offering this rental. This has got to be one of the best in Napili Point Resort for views. You can see Lana'i and Moloka'i from the lanai. Every morning we walked out on the lanai to see the turtles who are there all day, everyday. Snorkeling with them was the highlight of our trip. We watched the whales breaching right off shore and enjoyed the sunsets and occasional rainbows over Moloka'i. Everything you need is close by without having to drive to far. I can't say enough good things about this condo. Everything listed about it is accurate. We left feeling relaxed and sad at the same time. Wish we could have stayed even longer. I really hope to return and enjoy it again in the future. :)Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We are so glad we found C-17 at Napili Point! We never went out to dinner because it was too beautiful eating fish or ribs on your lanai every night, watching the turtles & sunsets. Snorkeling in your cove was the best (counted 12 turtles as the most seen on one dive, 3 octopii & the damselfish!) On our last day we went to the blowhole & Ojai Tube on the North Shore. Favorite snorkeling spot - Honolua Bay before the crowds arrive. Thanks for sharing your condo!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Beverly, you said we wouldn't be disappointed and indeed we have not. We have had a wonderful 10 days, like those who have been before us. We paid money to go on a boat for snorkeling early in our stay, but as the days wore on we realized we had perfect snorkeling right on our doorstep. And while we were very fortunate to see whales up close on that boat trip, it was hard to beat the simple pleasure of watching them spout, breach, roll and frolic right from the deck here. We have really enjoyed early morning walks along the coastal trail, taking a quick dip on the way back-and one day being diverted by breakfasts at the Gazebo, not minding the queue, because of the entertaining display of the whales. Your place has provided us with the perfect spot to come and go from. We have enjoyed exploring Maui and all it has to offer - but as the days wore on and we slowed down, we've been able to have an unwinding holiday cruising with the turtles at turtle speed. Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We've just spent 10 wonderful days in your condo. We've come 3 other times with our friends the Olsen's and it just gets better & better. Hard to come up with how it could be improved on. Your Island home is well equipped and very comfortable. Thank you for making it so. We leave tomorrow for a few days in Calif. then on to our home in Pennsylvania and cold weather. Can't wait until the next time. Your grateful guestsDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our trips to Maui are always full of discoveries. This is our 5th time to stay at Napili Point and we have just discovered C-17. "WOW" This is the best unit. You have done a great job of decorating this unit for others to enjoy. We particularly enjoyed the before, during & after photos of the complex as it was being built. Due to the slow economy we noticed fewer people on Maui this year. We did our part to boost the Maui economy by eating a lot of food, shopping and golfing. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1977
About the owner: Gary Skinner, Darlene Skinner, Beverly Pack, Bert Pack
Why the Owner Chose Napili:
Gary and Bert purchased Unit C-17 at Napili Point Resort from the blueprints even before ground was broken to build the resort. They knew it was a place they would want to return again and again with children and grandchildren. They do. Darlene was involved with furnishing and decorating the unit from the very beginning; Beverly came along much later and just enjoys the fruits of their labors. We all hope that you will, too.
