Rainbow on the Ocean is just that…..ON THE OCEAN! Amenities include free daily maid service (except Sundays) and linen changes every three days, free parking, free Wi-Fi, no check out or cleaning fees, a Heated Pool, Upper Beach Cabanas (no charge), Washer and Dryer available for guests, Recreation Room, and Shuffle-Board Courts. Rainbow on the Ocean is a laid back ‘60s retro exterior with interior motifs all beckoning the guest with individual treatments.
Unit 201 is one such unit of 24. The owners, Michelle and Sean, take pride in its comfort and decor. You are a guest with a name and not a room number. Unit 201 is located on the second floor adjacent to a wide expansive sundeck overlooking a palm treed courtyard, pool, and a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Unit 201 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with a Florida Seaside motif. The sundeck is located directly outside the door of 201 with a separate outside dining/sitting area under a sun umbrella with two chaise lounges for sunning.
Inside 201 you will find a full kitchen and cooking utensils with adjacent eating area. The living area is tastefully appointed with two Lazy-Boys, couch w/pull-out queen size sleeper, love seat, and 32 inch flat screen cable television. The bedroom has a king-size bed, a wicker chair, and large dresser with cable TV. Two large picture windows, bedroom and living area, look out onto the courtyard, pool, upper beach with cabanas, and the ocean. Parking is convenient and Unit 201 is located at the top of the stairway.
The ambiance of the Rainbow is rest and relaxation while still providing you with many choices to increase your activities if you want. Rainbow offers personal services from a manager who treats you as a guest.
Rainbow on the Ocean is a 30 to 45 minute drive from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport or 1 hour from the West Palm Beach International Airport and minutes away from great shopping, dining, inter-coastal waterway, and golf.
Beaches? Goes without saying – you are there. Rainbow is located on the Atlantic Ocean with a coral reef for great snorkeling and diving. Easy launching too for kitesurfing and stand-up paddleboarding.
You can walk south for miles along a sandy beach to the Hillsboro Inlet and the Lighthouse Point Lighthouse or north to the Deerfield Fishing Pier or further to the Boca Raton Inlet. If sand walking is a bother, consider walking the 1 mile to Deerfield Beach Fishing Pier on the measured paved walking path alongside the beautiful beach. Either way you will enjoy the view of the ocean, beaches, and palm trees or just relax and watch the people.
From walks on the beach, shopping nearby, or malls from Boca Raton to Fort Lauderdale; golfing, charter fishing, and boating are all available. Side trips can take you to the Florida Keys and Key West; a day’s drive, while Florida's gulf side offers Naples, Marco Island, and Ft. Myers, a two to two and one half hours drive away.
Shopping: Minutes away are the quaint shops of Deerfield Beach and fashionable shops of Boca’s Mizner Shopping Complex, and the upscale Town Center, or you can go to the famous Fiesta Flea Market for some great buys. Dining includes Deerfield Beach’s Bob’s Pizza, the famous (Food Channel) Whale’s Rib, Flanagan’s, 234 Ocean, JB’s, and other high end cuisine to the beach martini bars. It is all conveniently located for you.
Also, minutes away at the 'Cove Restaurant' on the Inter-coastal Waterway and Hillsboro Blvd., you can find water-taxis to Ft. Lauderdale or Palm Beach with all points in between. You will also find charter boat rentals for deep sea fishing and cruising the waterway and many fine restaurants.
Rainbow on the Ocean is one of the last, great, experiences for lovers, families and reunion parties. Many reunions are held at Rainbow that use the recreation room (no charge to reserve it). Unit 201 is your gateway to that experience and memories.
