  This charming victorian is the perfect Ashland getaway. It's right in the middle of town for a convenient early morning coffee shop visit or a walk to dinner or the theater, yet out of the hustle and bustle on a side street. It has every modern convenience including luxuriously comfortable bed toppers and heated toilet seats! We have returned again and again and are never disappointed!

  We recently stayed at The Victorian Secrect and loved this home. So cozy, comfy,perfect. The kitchen was well equipped. We had plenty of room for guests at the dinning room table. The bathrooms well appointed and lovely. Great location near the blvd. Walked everywhere. Even had a deer eating apples that had fallen from the tree. We are looking forward to going back!

  We had a fantastic time at the Victorian Secret in Ashland. We attended the Shakespeare Festival, and the location could not have been better--about a 5-6-minute walk to the theaters. The house itsekf was lovely--decorated in Victorian style but very modern as well. The kitchen was more than fully equiped and we had fun making our own hot chocolate. We met friends from Californa there )another couple), and each of us had a lovely bedroom. This property would be great fro two couples, as we were, or for a family of our, or I could imagine foru girlfriends staying there too.

  Lovely home so close to plays and shops, fully stocked. Loved the Intelliseat in bathrooms. Wish there was a hottub but other than that it was great.

  This house was a perfect place to stay in Ashland while attending the festival. The home is beautiful, comfortably furnished, and very clean and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. We were able to easily walk to many different restaurants and the theatres, the location is excellent and we hope to stay here again whenever we visit Ashland.

  Great place to stay. Nicely decorated fitting with the Victorian Secret theme. Close to downtown, yet comfortable and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

  The house is a charming old home redone with care. It is within 2 blocks of many restaurants and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We left our car in the driveway, it was already closer than were many were parking. The kitchen was much better equipped than most vacation rentals. The beds were very comfortable with good quality linens. The only real flaw was the sleeper sofa mattress. The house is very nicely decorated and the mural in the dining room (where the table was set with place mats and napkins) and the other paintings in the home were very much in keeping with the decor. Upon arrival, the house was very clean and well stocked with towels etc. I'd very much recommend staying here if you are in the Ashland area. Of course, don't book dates we want, as I would unquestionably rent this home for any of our returns to Ashland, OSF or Britt in Jacksonville.

I painted some of the other paintings for The Victorian Secret and purchased some paintings from some friends too. The home has been loved by its owners for many years, and I'm so happy that love spills through to our cherished guests. Oy, what to do about uncomfortable sofa bed mattresses? I've never slept on one that was comfortable... We tried putting a memory foam topper on one but it wouldn't close back up. If anyone knows of a truly comfortable sofa bed mattress, please email us.   If a house really can have a personality, then The Victorian Secret at 44 Church Street, Ashland, would be described as a real charmer. It is welcoming, comfortable and effortless, and much of one's time there is spent releasing sighs of satisfaction. Like a new kitchen gadget that really lives up to its hype and performs better than you hoped, this is one vacation home that exceeds expectations. What Julie and Jory have done here in terms of decoration, furnishings, artwork and equipment, achieves the perfect balance between luxury and quaintness. I couldn't imagine paying for an over-priced hotel when you could relax and enjoy this charming and beautifully kept home.

  This beautiful home is in the perfect location! It is located in downtown Ashland and just steps away from shops, restaurants, and the theatres. Once you park your car you will never had to get to use it again until it is time to leave. The home is well decorated and cozy. It was a joy to stay here and we have recommended this house to several of our friends.

  I took my mother to Ashland to see some plays and do a little shopping. The Victorian Secret exceeded my expectations in every way. It is comfortable, immaculate, and stocked with every possible amenity. We both enjoyed the artwork and decorative touches located throughout the home. Except for a side trip to the Rogue Valley Creamery, our car never left the driveway. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home -- I can't wait to bring my husband for a visit!
