WAX UP THE SKIS AND BOARDS! Don't ski or board? That's OK. Warm yourself by one of our fireplaces and watch a movie, read a book, or just chill. Picture yourself with a glass of red wine or a hot toddy and a burger from the grill as your favorite music plays and you watch the sun set over the golf course. If you have some energy to burn, hop right out on the course for an early AM/PM walk or run.
Whether it is winter, spring, summer or fall, come and enjoy our beautifully decorated mountain home. Our house is perfect for the winter. A ground floor entry into a mudroom/laundry room makes it easy to change into something warm and dry before you come into the house. A fireplace (with large TV overhead) and pool room greet you as you enter the ground floor. You may have so much fun that you never make it upstairs.
Perfectly situated on a peninsula of land surrounded by the 7th, 8th and 9th holes of the picturesque Devil's Knob golf course at Wintergreen Resort, any season feels just right at 83 Gray Birch Lane. Spectacular views of the golf course abound whether you are cooking, dining, or just relaxing in the great room. In the warmer weather, take advantage of the huge deck overlooking the golf course. Want some quiet time? Just head for the front porch and get away from it all. Want to go out to eat or play tennis? The Devil's Knob restaurant and tennis center are just a short walk up the 9th fairway. The golf course is your "backyard" for early morning and evening walks/runs and for sledding in the winter (sleds are provided). And, if you need to work or just stay "connected", bring your laptop and connect to the internet with our wireless broadband (we also have an ethernet cable if you do not have a wireless card).
If you want to plan ahead for the warmer weather and you are a golfer, you will love this home! Walk up the Devil's Knob 9th fairway to the driving range before you play. While you are playing, you can stop by the house and say "Hello" to your non-golfing family/friends. When you are finished, everyone can enjoy a cold drink from the large back deck while you watch others navigate the course. In the evening, enjoy a stroll around the 8th hole's pond as you watch the sun go down. If you still need some incentive, our ground floor has a large extra bedroom, full bathroom and enormous "playroom" to include a pool table.
Decorated by a professional artist to provide you with the most relaxing accommodations. From the warm colors to the luxurious beds/bedding to the artist's special touches, everything has been picked to make your stay memorable. You will not want to leave.
The main/first floor includes a cathedral-ceiling kitchen, laundry room, dining area,and large great room (with gas fireplace) with access to the deck overlooking the 7th, 8th and 9th holes. With it's own deck access, the downstairs master bedroom (cathedral ceiling and a queen-sized bed) with full bath also overlooks the fairway. The second bedroom (queen-sized bed) and third bedroom (two twin-sized beds) share a second full bath.
Upstairs overlooking the great room enjoy a second master bedroom suite (skylights in the cathedral ceiling and a queen-sized bed) with it's own full bath.
The ground floor provides easy access into the house via a mudroom that provides plenty of space to store your ski, golf, tennis, etc., equipment during your stay. The mudroom also has its own washer/dryer for your wet "play" clothes. The ground floor includes a second gas fireplace in the sitting area, another eating area, a pool table, full bathroom, and a large bedroom (great for 4 children and includes a DVD player and video game set-up). You can even keep cold drinks in a small refrigerator and make some popcorn in the microwave.
TVs are located in the great room on the main/first floor, the two master bedrooms, and above the gas fireplace on the ground floor so you can view it from anywhere in the playroom. DIRECT TV connection includes XM radio for your music enjoyment.

This house is beautiful, clean, well-maintained and well-decorated. We had two families, 10 people including 6 kids and had more than enough room and were very comfortable. The house had just about everything we needed and more! The owner was so nice, helpful, and responsive. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone. We would definitely like to stay there again!

Our family had a great time relaxing, hiking and playing golf for a week with this home as our base. The open kitchen, dining and family room area was wonderful. We enjoyed playing board games in the evenings, a game or two of pool, and sitting on the expansive deck enjoying the cool mountain breezes! The owner was wonderful to work with and always responded quickly to questions. Location is perfect for access to all Wintergreen offers.

We spent 3 nights with some friends. The house is abosoluty beautiful with plenty of room. We grilled and enjoyed the evening on the deck watch golfers pass threw. This house is a golfers dream house. My husband was in golf heaven on the greens late in the evening. We also seen 4 deer in the evening out on the fairway chasing each other. We will be back! Wish I Was there Now!!!!

This house was perfect for our ski getaway. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, and roomy, with wonderful views and privacy. Three families rented it together, and there was more than enough room for everyone, since the huge basement became the "kids only" hang out. We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our trip. Short drive to the slopes, and a warm fire to return home to at the end of the day.

My family and friends expected this home to be nice, but the pictures simply don't do it justice. This place far exceeded our expectations and was the foundation of a great vacation. We had three families with 6 adults and 6 young children and everyone was fully accommodated with each of the adult couples having their own bedrooms. The location, quality amenities and decor were absolutely perfect and made for an ideal ski vacation. The owner has obviously taken great pride in this property and if you're looking for a well-appointed home close to Wintergreen Resort and other activities that can accommodate multiple families, this is it. We would recommend this home to anyone and plan to visit again.

Our family of four enjoyed a few nights here in August and it was the perfect place for us. We loved walking out to the golf course in the evenings to putt around on the greens nearby and fish in the pond right there at the house. After dark we would play pool downstairs and it would get cool enough in the evenings to have the gas fireplaces going. This house has every amenity you can think of!

This home was wonderful! We rented for a long weekend in July and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. It is tastily decorated and there was plenty of room for 3 families. The downstairs game room was excellent, and the rest of the house was perfect for our needs. We also loved the yard and its privacy; it is a beautiful setting. The whole rental process was easy. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone, any time of year! This house was a convenient spot for anywhere at Wintergreen-we just loved everything about it.
