Located in the peaceful St. Giles quarter, it is only a five minute walk to Markt Square and the centre of Town. 'De Hoedenmaker' is a three-level house with a total of 100 square meters (1100 square feet) living area, including full kitchen and a private walled-in garden. Large, comfortable beds ensure a relaxing and enjoyable visit. 'De Hoedenmaker' is an exceptional rental holiday home, perhaps the premier unit in all of medieval Bruges. NEW for 2003: small, private roof-top sun terrace, complete with lounge chairs. The facade is built in the traditional step-gable style that is typical of the finest Flemish Renaissance homes. The house is newly renovated, and most furnishings are new. The kitchen includes a full complement of cooking utensils and cutlery. The house faces south and takes in plenty of sun year round. About Bruges: The town of Bruges has been called 'the most perfectly preserved medieval city in Europe.' It has an ideal mix of ancient buildings, canals, museums, cobblestone streets, and charming little squares, all within a comfortable and human-scale city. A 'House Book' in the house contains much information on local shops, restaurants, history, and sights. This house is professionally managed and maintained; references are available upon request. ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION: * Rates are per night, per house, based on 2 PERSONS (small added charge for additional people). * Children ages 2 and under are free. * MINIMUM STAY: 3 nights. * DEPOSIT of 25% required at time of reservation. * Security deposit of 100 euro required at time of check-in. * Rates include ALL UTILITIES, LINENS, TOWELS, and END CLEANING. * No smoking, and no pets please. * DISCOUNT of 15% for stays of 5 days or more, and 30% for 3 weeks or more.
