"Casa del Artiste" is a 16th century town house with TERRACE overlooking the Lake Trasimeno and rolling countryside.Ideally located in the heart of Tuscany, in the historic center of Cortona, Italy. Featured in the October, 2004 Issue of "Ville and Casali" magazine, it is a jewel-like house with outstanding character, elegance, and style.
Using local artisans, iron-smiths, and stonemasons, it has been lovingly restored with great attention to preserving its authenticity and charm, while it also offers all the modern conveniences. A unique feature of the house is the terrace with a wisteria covered pergola, where you can dine "al fresco" and enjoy the spectacular views of the Val di Ciana, Lake Trasimeno, and the Mountain Range.
Accommodating up to four people, and nestled against the Etruscan walls surrounding the town (dating from the second century BC), it is moments away from the central piazza. All amenities, including grocery stores, gift and clothing stores, the park, movie theater, cafes, churches and museums are within a two to three block radius.
