  • This home is magnificent! The perfect summer getaw

"This home is on our list of favorite vacation spots! Peaceful and cozy, clean and located within minutes of everything. Grocery store just a block away, the beach a few blocks away. The owner is so kind and helpful with the entire process. Everything is organized and available, as if they really put thought into everything a guest could possibly need, and more! Every room is filled with essentials for daily living and we really felt at home and comfortable. Three children, two adults and a wheelchair had plenty of space and we had a great time!"

  • Calming view by the sea

"Vistamar was a wonderful house. Well stocked in the kitchen, very comfortable beds, and the hot tub was a treat on the cool days. The location was prefect! We enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach and pier in the distance from many windows. Once on the beach the lighthouse was a short walk away. It was just what we wanted for our family for Christmas."

  • Lovely home with beautiful, huge family-friendly common room near the beach and town

"This is a lovely home that comfortably sleeps 8 people, in a quiet residential area about a block and a half away from the beach and flat-paved West Cliff walking/running/biking path perfect for all ages and abilities watching sunrises and sunsets. We were here for 3 days for a small family reunion. There's beach access 5 mins south on the path towards the lighthouse via a fairly steep staircase. Some of us also walked into town for meals, a nice 15-20 minute walk to the boardwalk area and ~20-30 minute walk to restaurants (or an easy 5 minute drive). The kitchen is a beautiful open design with a chef's island and Viking stove, well-equipped, and allowed us to make elaborate breakfast/brunches and baked holiday treats. The dining and living room with cozy fireplace is all part of the huge beautiful kitchen and common room where we spent most of our time. The big and comfortable master bedroom is on the main floor next to the living room. The other bedrooms were in the basement-like /ground floor and were much smaller. Two of these bedrooms were carpeted and cozy whilst a third ground floor bedroom had wood floor and glass patio doors that was cooler in the cool weather though probably quite nice if open in the summer. The 3 ground floor bedrooms shared a single full bath, which was nice but got congested with so many people sharing it. There is no functional bathtub (you can only use the shower in the 2 bathrooms). Overall we had a lovely extended family getaway here, with great meals in the beautiful kitchen and dining area, lots of hangout time in front of the fireplace, and frequent walks to the beach to soak in the magic of the Central Coast and Pacific Ocean."

  • Fun for all!

"Beautiful camper in Santa Cruz mountains. Ben and Julie were extremely warm and welcoming, and made us feel very well cared-for. It was clear they'd be great hosts for families who want a little more interaction, or for people who want to enjoy the camper and be left alone - very attentive to their guests' needs. Definitely recommended!"
