  • Review of West Cliff Hideaway

"My experience was so perfect that I've already booked for 3 more months beginning November, 2017! The location is extremely convenient; easy walk to West Cliff and short drive to downtown. With Robin's assistance I quickly found near by grocery stores, work out facilities and fun restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and has a very safe feeling. The apartment is very well maintained and is very well supplied. Robin is amazing in her responsiveness. I'm sure you will have the same wonderful experience as I did during my recent 3 month stay."

  • Charming House in Santa Cruz, CA

"14 long term friends recently gathered in this house for our annual reunion. We always go to a different location in the western US or Europe. This house in Santa Cruz was perfect for us. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms that we were not crowded. The layout of the house allowed for privacy when wanted and group gatherings for meals and hangouts. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and close to the Boardwalk for entertainment. Quite fun."

  • Best of Both Worlds

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Valley View home. We arrived during a chilly November rain and, having forgotten to bring umbrellas, were pleased to pull into a carport and get all our luggage into the house protected by an overhang all the way to the front door. We walked in and immediately saw the beautiful round deck and breathtaking view of a redwood forest. We both said WOW as we opened the door. The design of the house is so clever, taking full advantage of the amazing valley view and creating a comfortable living arrangement. The kitchen in the round is especially interesting architecturally. The house was clean and spacious and the heating system warmed it up very quickly. We spent the next several days relaxing in the mornings with our coffee and tea and having a soak in the hot tub (after the first day, we had great weather), then going off to explore. There are several beautiful beaches just a short drive away, and we drove to Half Moon Bay one day along scenic route 1 which only took 1 hour each way. There are some good restaurants in Scotts Valley, and some great ones in Santa Cruz and Capitola. Both Santa Cruz and Capitola are fun towns for exploring and shopping. The property manager for Valley View was available by phone when we had a question, though once we got settled there was no need to call. It was the best of both worlds - a quiet, private, cozy home in the redwood forest and a short drive from everything we needed and fun things to do. We've stayed in several VRBOs and this was, by far, our favorite and most special so far. Perfect for a romantic getaway. We hope to be back."
