  We stayed in Terri's sea side villa during Christmas and New Year. Terri was very helpful in getting the villa booked for us. I had to wait for sometime for all our family members to book tickets, before I could book the villa. She was very sweet and worked with us and was extremely helpful. The villa is right on the beautiful Caribbean Sea, and we could walk down to the beach in 2 minutes. The villa is right near the hotel zone, and everything is conveniently accessible. The bus stop is 5 minutes away and we took the bus to go everywhere. She was very good with helping us plan our activities and local trips. She has a wonderful maid/cook, Doris, who cooked fabulous meals for us. She also cleaned the home everyday and kept it clean of all the sand we would track in from the beach:) Rollandi's pizza in downtown is a great place to have dinner while you are there. I would definitely recommend her property to anyone visiting Cancun.

  My family of four just returned last night from Cancun.We stayed in Villa 8 at Solymar.I keep telling my husband it was the most relaxing vacation ever ! Terri was very professional and responsive. Doris was great,her salsa and chips and quacamole awaiting us upon arrival(along with her beautiful smiling face.) We didn't utilize Doris for meals,when we're on vacation we allget up and eat at different times. Now that I've met her I'm sure it would be great,just not our style! The villa is a great size and very clean.The beds were extremely comfortable.My husband has a bad back,so this was very important.Plenty of pillows,too!The book case is full of paperbacks,something for everyone! Terri recommended using entertainment-plus.net for ground transportation - brilliant! They were right there outside the airport waiting for us and very professional.The driver was waiting for us for the return trip to the airport well in advance of the 7:15 AM pick up time.too! We opted for a trip to the Walmart when we landed.It was well worth the 30 extra dollars to load up on breakfast and lunch and snack items (beer and wine,too) The prices were a bit better than Chedraui grocery store downtown near Talum Ave. This property is RIGHT ON THE BEACH-we just loved that.The pool is steps away from your front door. The pool was clean and we never had to fight for chairs.It was so different from our experience at an all inclusive 2 years ago! The villa is extremely sound proof,we heard absolutely nothing from our neighbors.The beach was clean,I woke up every morning to watch the sunrise and the men raking the beach! The terrace is perfect for early morning sunbathing(topless)LOL! Also great for late afternoon relaxation after too much sun at the pool! The hotel seemed a bit shabby and I was worried the pool might be iffy-but it turned out to be great.My 15 year old took part in a fun volleyball game,it didn't seem to matter that she didn't have a wristband. I could go on and on! I'll stop now and say YOU WON"T REGRET RENTING FROM TERRI !

  What a great little spot, beautiful beach mixed with great service and amenities. We came down this January to celebrate my birthday with a few friends, and to say the least it was AMAZING. Weather was beautiful, water was warm and views were amazing and as well we created many memories which we will carry forever. We just want to say thank you Terri & Doris!!! See you next year...

  My family of 6 adults has one of the best vacations ever in cancun staying at this villa. First off, the weather was absolutley perfect every day, we really enjoyed the terrace and swimming in the wonderful waves...what a blast! The villa was perfect for our family of six, we reall enjoyed having our own bedrooms and bathrooms and then a common space for us all to hang out in. The place was well kept and Doris did a great job cleaning every day. Doris was absolutley wonderful, she was so happy all the time and made us wonderful meals. My favorite was the chilli stuffed peppers and the taquitos. She was so pleasant and I had a great time practicing my spanish by talking to her. The few questions we had she was able to help us, and she really made the stay one of a kind. The villa is literally right on the water with a huge terrace, it takes about 5 seconds to walk down to the perfectly sandy beaches. The villa was clean and well kept, and the layout is perfect for a group that wants privacy yet a common space as well. Terri (the owner) was very easy to work with and answered every question we had! She helped recommend some wonderful restaurants and things to do while in Cancun. We also appreciated this stay because we weren't in the 'crazy' part of the hotel zone, instead where we were was quiet and uncrowded..but all it took was a 75 cent and a two second bus ride to get anywhere in Cancun. I would 100% reccomend this villa, hope you enjoy your vacation

  This is the most amazing rental I have stayed in: Perfect location, beautiful beach, pleasing and comfortable interior, well equipped kitchen, and best of all, a cook (optional and extra). The cook made it a true vacation for us. She was wonderful. The owner took great pains to put a few items in the fridge for us (breakfast essentials, after consulting with me) and did not charge us for it. The cook had prepared a few snacks that were waiting for us upon arrival. It was perfect, thoughtful and delicious. The only small change I would make to this dream-like rental is that I would recommend better lighting in bedrooms 2 and 3. The two bedrooms were slightly poorly lit, and because they are on a lower level, they were ever darker. I would recommend this property in a heartbeat.

  We spent two weeks in Villa 8 and it was all-around perfect. Clean, comfortable rooms, beautiful view, nice complex, perfect beach, and great food if you get the meal plan. The owners are helpful and professional. I highly recommend staying there.

  I stayed at this amazing villa at the Solymar and we were not disappointed. It is right on the beach and we had a private terrace to enjoy the view. The owner was very helpful in planning our trip and recommended great places to eat as well as excursions. Our rooms were comfortable and it seemed like it was really well taken care of. We would love to go back again!
