1205 Wailea Ekolu is a lovely, peaceful villa-style Wailea Ekolu Condominium hideaway. It is downstairs, 1300 sf (with lanais), 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, complete with an open lanai that fronts the lush golf course greenway and a private lanai off of each bedroom. With an exquisite south ocean view, cool ocean breezes, and no traffic noise it is one-of- a-kind. Flowered-covered trellises are typical of the manicured Ekolu landscaping. The suite offers all amenities, which include high-speed internet access, a 42" flat screen TV in the living room and private TVs in both bedrooms, cable, phone, DVD player, stereo with CD player, 2 air conditioning units, ceiling fans, private washer and dryer, all basic appliances, and nearby barbeques. The pool is just steps away. Its remodeled kitchen is gorgeous, with granite countertops, and is fully equipped with a refrigerator with purified water, ice maker, stove, dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, and all dishes, utensils and cookware. Towels, linens and beach towels are provided. There is a fun closet with games, gear for the beach and boogie boards, too!
The master bedroom has a queen bed and there are twin beds in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms have full baths, private lanais, separate A/C, large closets, and lovely sage carpeting. Two futons are stored for sleeping extra people or for lounging. The condo can be cooled by A/C and ceiling fans, but the natural cooling of the refreshing tropical breezes wafting through the rooms is classic Maui paradise.
The condo is privately owned and cared for by Peggy, so she is able to offer attractive rates, since she does not use a rental company. In addition, she has Lorraine, who lives here on-island, available to help you with your immediate needs, check-in and out, cleaning and any maintenance during your stay. The Ekolu Village has barbeque areas in a garden setting, overlooking the golf course and two pools. The building is two stories, or low rise. Parking directly fronts the unit and the paved ramp and walkway to the front door (no steps) allow easy access by wheelchair.
The fabulous Shops at Wailea, with world class stores and restaurants, are just a leisurely stroll from the condo.

Why the Owner Chose Wailea Ekolu
Having a condo on Maui was my dream every since my first visit to Maui many years ago. I particularly wanted our second home to be in Wailea Ekolu Village because of its low density, open spaces, & beautiful landscape --in my opinion, the nicest on Maui--and our unit's serene location next to a beautiful golf course, with a peaceful ocean view. It is truly paradise on earth to me and my family, and our guests feel the same way, as you can see if you read their comments.

Aloha and welcome. I am Peggy Dekom, the owner of Wailea Ekolu 1205, and it is my pleasure to host your stay in Maui. I work very hard along with Lorraine Barrie, my on-island rental manager, to care for the condo so our guests can have a great time. Our goal is to have you feel that Wailea Ekolu 1205 is your island home. It is beautifully outfitted, comfortable and welcoming. We provide everything to make you feel at home, plus much that caters to Maui. There is a fun closet with several boogie boards (all sizes), games, beach coolers, umbrellas, beach towels, chairs, and toys. The kitchen is fully stocked with every item you might need, even a rice cooker! Lorraine provides starter supplies, like laundry soap, kitchen and bath soaps, and paper goods so you don't have to go out and buy all of it when you get here. She's always on call, as well, for helpful hints and any assistance you might need (the photo is actually of her). You are in good hands as she is a professional realtor on Maui, and a wonderful hostess during your stay at the condominium.
A little about me: I work in the real estate field in Southern California, where my family shares our home with 3 dogs and a parrot. We try to visit our second home on Maui about once a year, but hope that during the rest of the year, our guests have a wonderful time on Maui in our little piece of paradise.

Our stay in "1205" have been fantastic! Amazing sunsets in a peaceful setting and not a worry in the world. Maui is great - we managed to do the Xtreme World Champs finish in one piece (minus some flesh!), circumnavigate the island in our Jeep, snorkel, swim, hike, bike and RELAX! ... What a magical experience we've had! Maui is absolutely stunning - a piece of paradise. This condo was perfect for us - so comfortable and like a home away from home. We loved keeping busy during the day with the various activities and then returning to our condo for a refreshing swim in the fantastic pool - ideal! Our little boys were so happy to be here. Having the huge lawn off our lanai allowing them to run around and explore was also sensational. We will definitely be recommending Maui and condo #1205 to all our friends and family. Aloha Peggy and Lorraine ... We had a wonderful stay and 1205. Your unit was very comfortable and had all the comforts of home. We were greeted with a sweet package of cookies and the cool tradewinds. Such a nice welcome! My girls ages 5 & 7 have become veteran visitors -- 5th and 6th visits respectively. They immediately felt at home here. We even found that our resident neighbor is from our home town Sacramento and that we had mutual friends there. What a small world! We had a great time in Maui & enjoyed every moment of it. Your place is a perfect location for our family of 4. It was our first time in the Hawaiian Islands. We spent 3 nights in Oahu and are heading for the Big Island today. Every day we did something special: hiking into the crater of Haleakala, drove the Road to Hana, snorkeling with turtles, caught many waves & visited nice beaches. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The condo was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed for the beach where we spent much of our time. The breezes off the lanai in the evenings made it so relaxing and easy to unwind. We found the condo so comfortable to come back to after snorkeling, driving to Hana, shopping, hiking, swimming, etc. It was our home away from home. I loved how quiet Wailea Ekolu is particularly in the evenings. We also enjoyed looking at the stars off the lanai. Amazing! Maui was amazing! And so was our stay here. This has been our second stay at 1205 and not our last. Our stay was absolutely amazing! We snorkeled Molokini and Turtle Town, drove to beautiful Hana, learned to surf, ate shave ice, watched the sun set every night (from our back yard) and loved every minute of it. Maui and Ekolu 1205 is our second home. I highly recommend a massage at the Grand Wailea and if you enjoy golfing there are many courses to drop off the man, so you can get pampered. Almost every night we sat on the lawn by the palm tree enjoying the sunset over Lanai with a tropical drink after a hard day at the beach and pool.
