  • Great value home in St. Thomas

"Overall, we were very happy to have chosen this home for our week-long stay in St. Thomas. As you can see from the photos the views from are incredible and the deck area is very nice. The location is also great - the home is located in a quiet residential area that is about 15 minutes from downtown Charlotte Amalie and 20 minutes from Red Hook. Karen and Joma were easy to work with and also very responsive - we had an issue with the stove early on in our stay that was quickly resolved. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the coffee maker from 4 to 12 cups!"

  • “the "Billion Dollar View" as they say is right on the money!!”

"My husband and I just came back recently and had a wonderful time staying at this villa. The aquamarine crystal clear waters, white sand and palm trees...sailboats sailing carelessly by, pelicans soaring and diving for fish, the island of Jost van Dyke just off in the distance...sounds like pure heaven and it is!!! here on earth! Chateau Relaxeau Caribe (CRC) is just steps from the water's edge right on the beautiful beach of Little Apple Bay. If you circumnavigate the entire island of Tortola you will find that this beachfront property is really a gem, there are just not that many villas right on the beach on Tortola! The studio villa is perfect for those looking for some solitude and relaxation but within walking distance of Sebastians and the famous Bomba Shack. It was a perfect space for a couple. They did have a futon if you have a spare friend or children :) The unit was clean and comfortable and the kitchenette had everything you could need. Our ability to be steps from the beach was the icing on the cake. Cane Garden Bay, Bananakeet, Smugglers Cove and Soper's Hole are all within a short drive. If you are a surfer this is the spot for sure! The hosts Malcolm and Candace are just wonderful people. We give CRCBVI 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and an A++!"

  • You need to stay here !!

"We arrived in one of the heaviest rain storms in recent memory according to the locals. Arriving at Tom's condo after 33 hours of travel was like arriving in heaven. Everything about this unit is perfect. The location, the cleanliness, the beautiful new kitchen and the view from the balcony. Tom is a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with any information you seek. We rented a car but you really don't need one to get around the island. The safari taxis are numerous and very inexpensive. The bars down in Red Hook have great happy hour prices for food and drink. I think that Fish Tails was the best. Shop at Moe's Market for friendly employees and a clean well stocked market. We took the Pirates Penny excursion to the British Virgin Islands and I highly recommend it. Great knowledgeable and friendly crew. So if you stay at the Dominica 167 you will not be disappointed in anything. Thanks Tom. We will be back."

  • Excellent value for money

"The villa is well situated, extremely spacious, and generally well appointed. It is a great deal cheaper than many other comparable properties, and so with this you need to take some of the quibbles. These could all be easily rectified with some tlc, and in fact the owners could then charge more, but perhaps that isn't a priority. The surrounds to the pool have broken tiles, particularly dangerous with children or elderly guests who might trip. Also the hand rail is loose and comes away. There are discarded inflatable toys around the pool-mostly broken and gathering dirt. We pointed these out, but I suspect they are still there. The bathrooms need a compete overhaul. No lighting in master shower makes it dangerous. Ripped shower curtain in guest shower looked cheap. Fridge covered in rust, but working perfectly well inside. Most of the cupboards sticky to the touch. It was such a shame, as most of this could be so easily rectified. Would suggest the owners go and stay again to pick up on some of the suggestions. With these few updates I would stay here again in a heartbeat and it was terrific value-hence the four stars."
