  • Excellent Stay

"The house was great. The location was great and had easy access to restaurants, shops, beach, etc. The house had plenty of supplies for our stay and was in great condition. Everything worked properly and was in good shape. The view from the balcony is great and the bicycles and boogie boards were perfect to have available. The house has more room than what the pictures show. Definately a great place to rent for the family."

  • Cozy retreat for two one block from beach

"This charming little hidden gem is perfectly located one block from the beach and is only about 10 min from LAX. It was exactly as pictured on the website, very clean, quiet, well stocked, and the owner was quickly responsive to a few questions. We never needed heat or air because the temperature was perfect! Loved the hardwood floors and tile and ceiling fans. Having a washer and dryer available was also very convenient. The wifi, dvr and TV also made it easy to stay connected. The location was very walkable to all of MB. Since we stayed for over a month, we joined the Easton Gym, which is only four blocks away. Awesome classes and equipment. We frequented the Fish Bar on Highland, also only a few blocks away. The proximity to the beach made daily walks on the strand and down to the pier a breeze. After discovering a weekly Tuesday Farmers Market, we walked down to 13th St each week, for the freshest CA produce and food stands, then stopped in at Lemonade on Manhattan Beach Blvd, for a fresh lemonade before we walked back to our little place. There is also a Trader Joe's on Rosecrans, about 5 min away. Access to the 405 and 105 is also nearby, which made zipping over to Hollywood quite easy to visit our daughter. We also toured the USS Iowa in Long Beach, drove up to the Simi Valley, checked out great restaurants in nearby Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach. Santa Monica and Malibu are just up the PCH. There was so much to do and see, or if we wanted to just relax we just did that too. The only major problem we had was at the very end of our stay, and that was we didn't want to leave!!! We would highly recommend this property."

  • Fun in Manhattan Beach

"We highly recommend this beautiful modern home. Alexa is the perfect host and was so very helpful and available for any questions we had. It was even larger than we thought it would be by the photos and fully equipped with everything needed for the beach or a relaxing evening staying in. Would definitely return."

  • Quintessentially charming

"My husband and I loved the way the owners have renovated/restored and furnished this historic cottage. We enjoyed the books in the bookcases and the art on the walls. Upstairs is cozy, but might work for two couples if they are related or very good friends. We were very comfortable during our six week stay. And the location is fabulous: near the beach and the bike path, near the walking path on the green-way, near shops, a terrific independent book store, and great restaurants. We particularly liked Petros, Mangiamo, Uncle Bill's Pancake, and Griddle in Manhattan Beach and the Bottle Inn, Fritto Misto, and Martha's in Hermosa,"
