  • Cozy Little Cottage

"Cozy is the word to describe this little gem of a cottage. It was great for my husband, my mother, and myself....any more adults & we'd have been on top of each other since we spent a good bit of time inside at this time of year. Being November, the pool was too cool for swimming, but the hot tub was perfect for a soak. Sitting outside on the dock was a wonderful way to start our days watching the iguanas warm themselves on the rocks. The kitchen had everything we needed to create a Thanksgiving dinner. The location was great for getting to Whale Harbor for our day of fishing. The neighborhood was quiet and let us feel less like tourists and more like locals."

  • In a word...Fabulous!

"It was the best vacation we've had in The Keys in a long time. From the moment we arrived, it was perfect. The location idyllic. It sits on a lazy street, in a sleepy little neighborhood. It is great for relaxing yet close to all the places we've become accustomed to frequenting. From the moment we entered the property we knew it was going to be amazing. The property is beautifully landscaped. When sitting on the pool deck, you are surrounded by lush vegetation which while beautiful, also provided a degree of privacy from the surrounding homes. We spent hours in the pool with the kids. We had kayaks and a paddleboard delivered from the Kayak Shack which we used to explore the canal and along the break wall. This became a daily ritual for the kids. Sitting on the upper deck at night, listening to the wind rustle the leaves, or just star gazing was a lovely, tranquil way to finish off the day. The pool area by night, stunning. The house is exactly as pictured. The layout is open with a nice flow. Although spacious, you never feel too far away from the rest of your party. It is beautifully furnished, very clean, well maintained. The appliances top of the line. The color palette is reminiscent of the sea and quite soothing. Doug, our host has provided suggestions for where to eat, places to go. We had pizza from Chad's. I'm not a fan of pizza, but this was really good. We also tried the key lime cake from The Trading Post. It too was an excellent recommendation. The Hungry Tarpon at Robbie's Marina was another great spot to catch a bite and feed the tarpon(they were really hungry). Our hosts have thought of everything you might need from beach toys, stacks of reading material, puzzles and bikes which the kids put to good use. The downstairs room with the entertainment center and ping pong table was where we'd begin to wind down each evening with family movie night. I can't say enough about our host, Doug. From our first inquiry to the end of our stay, and after, he was wonderful. He answered all our questions. He encouraged us to call if there were any problems(there were none), because he genuinely wanted us to have a lovely vacation. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and because of this, we did. My niece who traveled with us, upon returning home, told her mom what a dream vacation she had had, and how now she was back to her old boring life. I'd have to agree with her. It was a dream vacation. We will definitely be back!"

  • Very Nice House

"We rented this house with another family. It was a great house. We had plenty of room and amenities. The pier and pool were great!! We saw and caught many different species of fish from the pier including barracuda and tarpon. One bedroom is out by the pool, worked out well for us. Really liked the beautiful views and it was very clean. We would stay again...."

  • Relax and enjoy the view!

"This is my first time to stay here and I'm loving it. In past years I have stayed in several places in Key Largo at comparable prices, and this is by far my favorite. This unit has been beautifully updated and is very nicely furnished. There is a panoramic view of the beach/ocean from the wide balcony, which is accessible from the living room and both bedrooms - love the view!! I also enjoy the heated pool. My favorite restaurants are Lazy Days, Old Tavernier, Mrs. Mac's and Cafe Largo."
