  • Very peacful and relaxing

"The cottage was very clean and neat and the grounds were beautiful. The caretakers James and Lauren were perfect. They gave us plenty of privacy but they were there when we needed them. Molokai is a peaceful and relaxing getaway, which was what we needed."

  • nice location

"We were a party of four and enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It is a wonderful location and everything was clean and well-maintained. We recommend this place. Area attractions should be updated. We discovered many of the attractions were no longer in business."

  • Thank you

"My friend and I stayed at Tom and Karyl's B and B over the weekend. The room is extremely clean which I loved. I have gluten issues and wasn't sure how breakfast is going to work. Tom and Karyl took the extra time and asked me questions of what I can or cannot eat. They made the BEST gluten free pancakes for me. I was beyond bless. I highly recommend this place. I loved talking to them. Thank you for an excellent weekend."

  • Treat yourself to a Home in Paradise

"We just finished a relatively short (4-night) visit to Molokai, staying only at the Pauwalu Cottage. It was remarkable and lovely; we will definitely stay again next time we visit. The house itself was very clean, looked just like the pictures, and was well stocked with necessities (utensils and kitchen gadgets, briquet bbq, towels, paper towels, etc.). We followed the advice and did some shopping on the way from the airport -- although mostly we ate out. (This is Molokai, so that means plate lunch or choosing from a very few, very casual restaurants "in town" (Kaunakakai); so have realistic expectations.) There is no AC but the breeze and the fans were consistent and the screens worked great (no mosquitos got in -- but take a little mosquito repellant for the island; it would have been nice for the outdoor restaurants), so it was not missed. Booking was really easy and communication was prompt and friendly. The house is out towards the east end of the island and it's very comfortable (and 25 minutes from any dinner place), so grab stuff for one or more dinners at the house. Each morning and evening we spent at least an hour watching the waves and the ocean and reading on the lanai, and we would have stayed even more if we had planned groceries better. The deck and sunsets were my favorite things (and there was a lot to love from the house and the island). A note about the island: we loved Molokai and found folks to be very friendly when we took the time to chat but it is a somewhat different kind of vacation: slower, less posh, less convenient, more independent, etc. If that appeals, you will LOVE it and this cottage (and the other which is 2 minutes away and looked lovely too) is a perfect place. Enjoy."

Ualapue Travel Tips

Discover a Tropical Paradise With Ualapue Vacation Rentals

Whether you want to explore miles of sparkling ocean on a kayak tour or you want to hike steep mountain cliffs, Ualapue vacation rentals provide you the access you need for the activities you enjoy. Found at the east end of Molaki, Ualapue is a tropical paradise offering views of Maui, Kahoolawe, and Lanai. Only thirteen miles from the island's largest town, Kaunakakai, the area is home to sandy beaches and palm-studded landscaping. Play a round of golf or let an ocean breeze tinted with the scent of the plumeria trees wash over you as you relax in a lanai.

Enjoy the Community Amenities at Ualapue Condos

When you book Ualapue condos for your vacation, you gain access to the property's amenities, which can include oceanfront properties and views. Depending on the condo you choose, you'll have access to oceanfront pools, private beaches, shuffle boards, game rooms, and world-class tennis facilities. Some rental properties in Ualapue offer wireless Internet and cable. Enjoy classic Hawaiian décor like Lauhala matting and tile flooring, designed with the tropical atmosphere in mind.

Escape the Crowds With Molokai Lodging

The quiet setting surrounding your Molokai lodging will give you the chance to experience what many locals call Old Hawaii. Get away from the crowds on the larger islands and enjoy a day snorkeling at Murphy's Beach. You'll want to see the views available at Hawaii's barrier reef if you like to scuba dive. After a day playing in the sun and the water, head back to your rental property and prepare dinner in a fully equipped kitchen. If your Molokai lodging comes with a washer and dryer, toss your swimsuit and towels in so you'll be ready to head out first thing in the morning.
