  • Moloka'i vacation

"This condo was awesome! Everything in it has been updated using top of the line materials. It has all the comforts of home besides being only steps away from the water. The owners have gone out of their way to ensure all the comforts of home have been provided including access to Netflix and a computer and printer for printing boarding passes. I was looking for a very relaxed quiet time and Moloka'i fit the bill perfectly. The history of the island is rich. One can see the remains of ancient fish ponds from the condo's lanai. A sea turtle was a daily visitor to be enjoyed while having breakfast on the lanai. There are plenty of things to do on the island. The macadamia nut farm was fun as were the shops in town and the Saturday market. Try the new rage, a ramen burger at the Molokai drive-in at mile post 0. Dave's Hawaiian ice cream - yummy! Grocery shopping can be a bit of a challenge but there are plenty of places to eat around the area. Paddlers has live entertainment most evenings. Make sure to get a Mocha Mama at Coffees of Hawaii. Take the time to drive around as much of the island as possible as there are beautiful views and varied terrain. I look forward to my next opportunity to visit."

  • Location, Location, Location ~ AWESOME !!!

"Mahalo Laura and Victor, for providing a comfortable, well stocked Molokai condo we've coined the "Hula Bar". From the greeting of the tropical scent of plumeria's carried through the condo by way of flowing trade winds to your timely neighbor with the conch shell blowing at our "happy hour " at 5:30. Perfect setting to our direct ocean front views of the most mesmerizing Molokai sunsets! The Pool is perfect, the grounds are beautiful, your condo is comfortable and the location of your condo is AWESOME!!! Mahalo for the ease of booking months ahead with you, all of you great ideas of places to visit and sharing your beach condo with others to enjoy the Best Kept Secret of all the hawaiian islands, Molokai! Mahalo nui loa, carol and jerome"

  • Beautiful, but a little bit cold

"We spent a wonderful week at the condo, hiking, scuba diving, whale watching and just relaxing. We liked the condo very much, everything you need, clean, nice view, ... However, one thing really bothered us: It was quite cold in the beginning. The windows are open all the time, you cannot close them and the wind was blowing inside. Of course no heating in the condo. We had to cover the windows with newspaper and only after that it got a little better. An electric heater for cold days would be a really good idea."

  • Our visit to Molokai

"My family recently took a week off work and visited the island of Molokai. We rented two homes through Leslie Dunbar. Each had a lovely waterfront setting and two bedrooms. They were both well furnished with everything necessary for a lovely stay. Our group included two grandparents (us), and our daughter and her husband with their two small children. We rented a car so we could explore the island and must say that a car is a must. We booked a whale watching tour which was spectacular (we could also see the whales from the deck of each home) and toured the island. It was a lovely vacation but there are caveats. Molokai is not Maui or Honolulu. You will find more of the original Hawaii here. The scenery is beautiful but the amenities are not for the pampered. Have a sense of adventure and go see the whales!"
