"We stayed here in the winter. It could not be closer to the craftsbury outdoor center! It is great if you like skiing and other outdoor activity. There is a nice wood burning stove and the place is small and cozy. There is no wifi or Internet which we loved because it made it feel more remote! I bet it would be beautiful in the summer!"

"This former schoolhouse has been converted into a wonderful country home. It was just perfect for our winter ski & snowshoe holiday. We were 4 adults and 1 child and we had all the space that we needed; although the house is not huge, it is very well laid-out. It's also spotless and very well-equipped: cooking utensils, pots and pans, towels, linens, etc. Plus the views are spectacular, the countryside is beautiful, and Stowe is only a half-hour drive away. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer ... but we hope to return, perhaps next fall to see the leaves. In sum, this is not an impersonal 'rental property,' but a lovely, warm home with 'good vibes'! Thank-you, Florence!"

"Great place. This is my third year staying here. Great location. Tons of activities for kids in the village within walking distance (rec path, malt shop, playground, restaurants). Many other outdoor activities just a short drive away."
