This luxurious, spa-like, gated 3-bedroom home is perched on the famous Sleeping Indian Mountain overlooking Jolly Harbour Marina and multiple islands including the volcanic island of Montserrat. The view is an artistic masterpiece.

Upon entry, your eyes will be drawn to the turquoise, iridescent sea water and large, pristine swimming pool through the glass living room doors. AntiguaBella features upscale, elegant furnishings with seamless indoor/outdoor living. The refined architecture is sleek and stunning and the clean-lined, upscale fusion of British Colonial Caribbean and Modern furnishings keeps the focus of the picturesque sea views. Tuxedo style sofa, chairs, low accent tables and polished floors are understated yet inviting in the living room, while the dining room adds a bit of glam with a rustic yet sophisticated wood scrapped, extendable dining table, with expertly carved legs. The high, vaulted plank ceilings and wood carved fans throughout the villa are crafted with fine detail. For added comfort, each room has individual climate control AC, however it’s rarely needed due to the trade winds.

Three exquisite, spacious bedrooms can accommodate up to seven guests at this non-smoking home. The En-Suite Master Bedroom features an imported, King canopy bed with pineapple carvings and walks out to its own private, covered terrace with sitting area overlooking the sea. The architectural detail will entice you to linger in this private oasis, reminding you you’re in tropical bliss. From the terrace, a short path leads you to a fruit garden. Indulge in fruits such as mangoes, bananas, papayas, limes, guava and soursop to name a few. Keep in mind, some fruits may not be in season during your stay.

AntiguaBella was thoughtfully designed by a European/Antiguan architect to encompass quality and an island flare. Inside, solid wood doors and outside, West Indian solid wood shutters outline each door and window. Equally impressive are the modern and fastidious interiors. Every window frames the tantalizing views. The villa is equipped to the highest standards with Wi-Fi, flat screen Smart TV’s and HDMI’s, and Alexa. No detail is spared in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen with a European convection and conventional oven and breakfast bar.

Start off your Antiguan mornings sipping on freshly ground and brewed coffee under the pergola. Get captivated and mesmerized by the sea, mountains and multi-million-dollar yachts anchored below. Or, lounge on the luxurious Sunbrella fabric furniture and loungers by the inviting brand new, salt water, swimming pool that's exclusively yours, if AntiguaSoleil is not booked. Early check-ins and late check-outs can't be confirmed until the day before arrival or departure. The fee is an extra $100 USD per hour. ALL EARLY CHECK-INS & LATE CHECK-OUTS MUST BE CONFIRMED VIA EMAIL.

What is provided in regard to linens, bath towels, and toiletries?

Each bed comes complete with sheets, pillowcases & a blanket and/or comforter upon arrival. Each bathroom is outfitted with sets of towels, an initial supply of hand soap, shower gel, conditioning shampoo, body lotion & toilet tissue. Beach towels provided. The kitchen will have an initial stock of paper towels, napkins, trash bags & dish liquid.

Wonderful Stay

Fabulous house, wonderful amenities. House is nicely furnished; it has a fully provisioned kitchen with every kitchen tool and appliance you'd need, lots of outdoor seating, beach towels, really nice beach chairs and more! The a/c worked perfectly, had a fancy BBQ grill, and there were speakers around the house to play music. We also chartered the AntiguaBella boat and had a amazing day out on the water snorkeling, wake boarding, tubing and visiting gorgeous deserted beaches and bays. A perfect visit all around!

A spacious 3 bedroom apartment with great water views and convenient by car to all west coast destinations/beaches. Guests should know: (1) there is no dishwasher, (2) there is a clothes washer but no dryer (there is a clothes line on the deck), (3) contrary to VRBO advertising, it is not a private villa but one of 3 apartments in a larger building (including one used by owner's son).

Marvellous Vacation Location

Antigua Bella met and in most categories exceeded all of our expectations. The view from the villa is spectacular. Renting a vehicle was definitely advantageous. The location is within a short (5 -10 min.) drive to Jolly Harbour where there are several restaurants/bars. I highly recommend dining at Basilico. There are also several outstanding beaches within a 30 minute drive. The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner/manager was very quick responding and addressing our enquiries. The only minor and I emphasize minor issue was the low water pressure... that is not a complaint only an observation. All in all I would rate Antigua Bella 4.9 out of 5. I certainly recommend visiting Antigua and staying at Antigua Bella.

Inaccurate listing

When we arrived there was no water, the property was not ready for people to stay. The exterior looked like a construction site. The pool was unusable for 2 days. This is a shared property. The fruit trees from the description are greatly exaggerated. The exterior lighting never worked for our entire stay. Walking to the beach was unrealistic. I ended up fixing the water myself and some of the electrical. I expected and asked for some kind of discount or credit for repairs i did and because the property wasn't functioning properly but did not even get a response from management. I am trying to find a way to include pictures. The view was exceptional,. Too bad about the management. Kiefer was wonderful.

Beautiful sunsets from this lovely hillside villa

Our family of four, including two teenage boys, loved our trip to Antigua. The villa is so comfortable and well-equipped, with tons of space to spread out, both inside and out. There was a very nice family of six staying in the adjacent villa, but it still felt very private and quiet. Keeflin greeted us with the keys, a fruit platter and delicious rum drinks. Jason, the pool guy, picked fresh limes and mangoes for us from the fruit trees in the garden. The beach at Hermitage Bay is walking distance, there was hardly anyone on the beach and shade can be found if it gets too hot. We used the inflatable kayak there, which was fun for all. We also did day trips to English Harbor (Nelson's Dockyards should not be missed!) and Half Moon Bay (beautiful!), a snorkeling trip at Galleon Beach with Bernie of Snorkling Antigua (wow!), and spent a day at Darkwood Beach (good food and drink in the beach bar, umbrellas and chairs for rent.) We had a couple of delicious meals in Jolly Harbor - I recommend both Basilico and Akropolis. The rest of our dinners we made at the villa - cocktails with the sunsets and dinner on the patio, can't beat that! - the Epicurean supermarket in Jolly Harbor is terrific. You really need to rent a car if you are staying here, and should be aware that the roads on this side of the island are narrow and a bit tricky to navigate.

Amazing Villa, Amazing View, & Amazing Hosts

My friend & I spent an unforgettable week at AntiguaBella for our spring break. We both wanted accommodations that left us with little to want, all that we needed, a quiet relaxing atmosphere, breathtaking views near the beach, & yet somewhere that wasn't too far away from shops or restaurants. At AntiguaBella we got everything we wanted & more. To start, any pictures of the villa are underwhelming to being there in person. It is comfortable, spacious, well equipped, & is simply paradise. It truly felt like home (but of course better). The location & enclosure also provided us with a sense of safety, security, & peace of mind. A larger party will absolutely have no problems living, playing, & relaxing in this space. Our point of contact was Caril & Chris. Chris picked us up from the airport, & we met Caril at the property. She served us up some rum punch & tropical fruits! These two are extremely lovely people, whom helped us settle into our temporary abode, answered any questions about the villa/the island, & even drove us when they could! They were very professional, informative, kind, & friendly! We couldn't ask for better hosts! All in all, our week at AntiguaBella was unforgettable! Should the future bring us to Antigua & Barbuda again, we would DEFINITELY want to stay here again. We had an amazing time that definitely rejuvenated us for our return back to real life. PROS: -AntiguaBella's managers/hosts are sincere, available, kind, & friendly. They answered all of our inquiries timely. -Villa is spacious, cleanly, well designed, & comfortable. Everything worked well. You also get complimentary pop, & bottled water in the fridge. Tea, coffee, sugar, a spice rack, salt & pepper, & tupperware to use. They also start you off with dish soap, hand soap, & toilet paper/paper towel that will definitely last longer than a week (depending on your consumption of course). FYI: -Taxis cost ~$10 - 40 depending on the distance. Book taxis a day prior if you have early plans. -Jolly Harbour has a grocery! -The villa is actually split, & there is a sweet Swiss couple that occupy the other half. Despite this, there is still plenty of room to roam around the villa. The pictures of AntiguaBella are indeed the space that you will occupy, & the couple have their own distinct section of the property. They are very amiable people, & you still get the privacy that you are looking for. In fact, the couple are very helpful & helped us contact a cab once!

Worth 10 stars!

I can't rave enough about this property! It was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The communication with the owner was perfect as well as the property manager, Keeflin. Both were very attentive to our needs and wants. Keeflin greeted us when we checked in with some snacks, Coke, and water. (Also, a mixed drink, but we aren't alcohol drinkers.) The villa has an amazing view of Jolly Harbor and is a perfect place to view Antigua's gorgeous sunsets! The villa is situated away from other homes so it's very quiet and private. The property comes with beach chairs and an umbrella (that we used every day) as well as kayaks and bikes. Unfortunately, we had no way to transport the kayaks and the roads aren't very safe for the bikes. The pool and lounge chairs are wonderful for any time of the day. The beds are very comfortable and come with plenty of bedding. You can also hear the rain on the roof when the skies open up. It was a great way to greet the mornings. My only complaint is the driveway as the lower half is loose gravel and rock with some very big bumps. Our little rental car barely made it up the hill each day. I hope there is some paving in its future, or at least some grading. I highly recommend staying here as it will enhance your visit to Antigua.

The house was clean and had a fantastic view. Kefflin, property manager made everything easy and told us about restaurants. Questions we had before we arrived were quickly answered by the owner - we will definitely go back. Thank you Sharon and Kefflin!

A wonderful vacation in your own gorgeous slice of Antigua

Each time we leave Antigua we always find ourselves making plans for the next time we come back. Over the last 10 years we've run the gamut of accommodations options on the island. This was out 4th visit and we now came with two small children (2.5 and 4.5) in tow. Antigabella exceeded our expectations. Despite the extensive directions given before our arrival, we still had a bit of difficulty finding the house the first time. We later realized this was a consequence of what we loved most about it - it is secluded, quiet, and just about on Pearns point commanding a beautiful hillside view of Jolly Harbor. We were greeted by Ms. Kiflin, who was kind and wonderful and didn't spare an ounce of attention to help us settle in, or subsequently when we sought her out for help. The kitchen had all the tools I'd need to make whatever we tried (I enjoy cooking quite a bit) and we were very close to various shopping options (be it in Jolly Harbour - slightly pricey, or down in St. Johns). Each child got their own room and the accommodations were themselves wonderful and tidy. If there was a beach toy or accessory you needed, chances are they had it. I loved using the snorkeling gear when we would trek out to the beaches across the island. The homeowners were also very responsive whenever we had questions and my wife and I really appreciated the kindness. We love Antiguabella and we hope that when we return to Antigua, soon hopefully, we'll have the opportunity to stay here again.

Absolutely Fantastic Villa on Every Level

We have traveled to many islands and rented several different properties for vacation and this one tops the list. Beautiful location, Million dollar views, Very nicely decorated, Beautiful fruit gardens, High tech TV and Audio, lots of extras like bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, and umbrella, boogie boards. The owners are very friendly and I think it is great to have them on site incase we needed anything or had questions. I will note that I felt completely private staying at the Villa and rarely even saw the owner. We rented a Pick up for the trip which was perfect because we like to drive around and explore the islands and find places without any crowds. I picked a truck (more rugged than a car) so you can get around easily and also manage the roads on the island, which can be bump depending on where you go. I would recommend this villa to anyone traveling to Antigua.

AntiguaBella was above and beyond our expectations! We loved the views and outdoor living even finding it hard to leave for day trips, snorkeling or dinners out. So sometimes we just stayed put and enjoyed the pool and the trade winds and the view. The Tazwell’s were welcoming and helpful. They are wonderful hosts and have thought of everything. AntiguaBella was clean, stylish and comfortable. Two recommendations: 1. If you rent a car, get a vehicle with high clearance like a Jeep or SUV. 2. Ask Thomas for the google maps link and use that to find the villa the first time. AntiguaBella is the perfect spot to relax and get away from crowds ... to feel above it all. We loved it.

Views and comfort beyond compare!

The location and setting on the hillside with the gentle breezes and stunning long distance vista is calming and inspiring. This is a place to recharge and revitalize. Big thanks to Sharon and Thomas for being such great hosts. Their villa is lovely and the location just what we wanted having a quiet beach just down the lane. It's a short trip by car to Jolly Harbour for restaurants and shopping and St Johns is close-by. Throughly recommended!

We booked this villa as a last minute trip and could’nt have made a better choice! Communications with the owner and team were very easy and efficient. The villa felt like home, everything being well thought for our comfort. We cooked every evening meal at home and spent such a good time on the terrace at night. The beds are so comfy!!!! The villa is close to the grocery store, marina, nice beaches. We would come back anytime to this little peace of paradise. Thank you for sharing! Sharing is caring!

Beautiful view and very quiet place. Lots of relaxation was possible.

We had a great time in this wonderful location. Villa has just about everything you would want. Spent some time at beaches and one that was just down the road was our favorite quiet beach. Glad to have cooler and beach chairs available at Villa. It was great to have a wash machine to do a few clothes and then hang them dry in the tropical air. It was windy the two weeks we were there so the pool was cold and we could not swim at night due to the temperature. Great little piece of Paradise!

Perfect Vacation Villa in Antigua!

AntiguaBella is the perfect place to stay in Antigua. It is located conveniently to many of the southwestern beaches on the island, which we thought were some of the best. It is also very close to Jolly Harbour, which is a great beach area with restaurants and a grocery store. The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. A rental car is a must and we spent every day at a different beach. Driving is on the left side and the roads are narrow and in bad shape with few street signs. It takes a bit to get used to but definitely doable with your maps app. The house had a cooler and beach chairs available which was such a nice amenity. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need. We stayed in and cooked every morning and most evenings as there wasn't a much better view for breakfast and dinner than on your own back patio. The gardens around the home were very well manicured and the property had a locked gate so we felt very safe. The house is actually two attached villas but the couple staying next door was very nice and sharing the pool was not a problem at all. We would definitely stay at AntiguaBella again - it was paradise!

Amazing home!

My husband and I stayed at AntiguaBella with our 4 sons and niece for a week (ages 4-17). Keeflin was so kind to greet us with snacks when we arrived and left her contact info if we needed anything, but the home is so well set up that we never had to contact her! AntiguaBella is in a gorgeous location and is near a good grocery store (we were pleased to find many food items that even accommodated gluten free and lactose free dietary needs) and restaurants. We rented a van for our stay which worked great to be able to check out many of the islands beautiful beaches. We would highly recommend AntiguaBella and are thankful to the Tazewell’s for sharing their beautiful home with us!

House has everything you need

My wife and I and another couple enjoyed six nights at AntiguaBella in early November. As others have said, the view is fantastic. We started our day sipping coffee and watching the colors of the water change as the sun rose higher in the sky and ended the day marveling at the colors of the sunset on sky and sea. Nighttime brought the moon rise over the dramatic cliffs behind the house and the twinkling lights of Jolly Harbor. The pool also provided us a place to relax and cool off after a day's adventures. The furniture outside and inside was plentiful and very comfortable, especially the beds. The house itself is truly luxurious and has everything one needs to enjoy your stay. Many vacation properties are supplied kind of helter skelter with kitchen utensils, dishes, furniture etc, but not AntiguaBella. Everything you can think of is provided and is first rate. If I had to come up with one negative for this property, it would be the roads, but they are bad all over the island and no fault of the Tazewells.

Why they chose this property

We challenge you to find a better view. AntiguaBella has panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. Plus, you can see Jolly Harbour Marina and all the spectacular yachts. And, don't forget about several islands in plain view. On clear days (which is most), you can see the volcano on Montserrat smoldering. It's fascinating!

The nearest beach (which there are many close by) is only a hop, skip and a jump away. It's a quick 10 minute walk. Don't forget the two-2 man kayak. OF COURSE IT'S ALL INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. And beach chairs, beach towels and cooler....need I say more? Just bring your swimsuit!

Did I mention the view is spectacular?! You know when you look at a picture in a magazine of turquoise water in some tropical place? Well, our view is THAT picture! Really! Take a break from the view and dipping in the pool and venture into our fruit garden. Indulge all you like! Do you like mangoes? We have plenty!

AntiguaBella is gated, spacious and extremely comfortable. We spared no expense when it came to detail. We wanted luxury, which is exactly what your get. Plus, the large swimming pool and sitting area is much larger than most on the island. You can really take advantage of the indoor/outdoor living. It's truly amazing!
We made sure to add air conditioning for guests who like it a little cooler indoors.

When you arrive in Antigua, we want to make sure you feel pampered so we include a complimentary snack basket with snacks, water and tropical drinks. Plus, a member of our staff will meet and greet you with the keys upon your arrival to AntiguaBella.

AntiguaBella has 110 and 220 voltage electrical outlets to accommodate all guests.

Plus, if you want a chef or masseuse we're more than happy to accommodate!

The sea view is spectacular. Whether it's sunrise, high noon or sunset it's simply breathtaking. We take advantage of the indoor/outdoor living and provide various seating options. The large teak dining table outside, sunbrella sun loungers, seating outside the master suite, seating under the pergola and even a private 2 person bistro table with umbrella.
We even have a large fruit garden. Feel free to pick whatever fruit you desire.
