TERRA COTTAGE Caribbean Cottage - enorme porche cubierto y piscina privada y drivewa

Impresionante cabaña de estilo caribeño de nueva construcción en 'Bay Gardens', una comunidad cerrada en la hermosa costa norte de Antigua en la exclusiva zona de Hodges Bay.

La habitación romántica tiene una cama con dosel Bassett King con mosquitera, tocador y armario, y un amplio baño con lavamanos para él / ella y cabezal de ducha tipo lluvia. El dormitorio se abre a una hermosa terraza con vista a la piscina, donde se puede disfrutar de un café por la mañana.

La cocina del chef está completamente equipada con nevera Whirlpool, horno a gas y lavaplatos, cafetera y tostadora Cuisinart y licuadora Vitamix. Hay una gran isla de granito que mira hacia la sala de estar de concepto abierto, decorada con buen gusto en el estilo colonial británico, donde puede ver la televisión inteligente de pantalla plana o navegar por la red. El enorme porche cubierto tiene una mesa de comedor, una hamaca y muchas áreas de descanso, donde puedes leer un libro, jugar a las cartas o un juego de mesa, tomar una siesta o comer al aire libre. Todo el espacio es amplio y luminoso con muchas puertas, grandes ventanas de piso a techo, techo abovedado y 2 ventiladores de techo, un ventilador Dyson Cool Tower, así como un aire acondicionado en la habitación para mantenerte cómodo mientras duermes.

En el frente hay una hermosa piscina para refrescarse, con una terraza de madera que lo rodea, donde puede descansar o comer.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is great - around 25 mins from the west coast beaches. Highly recommend renting a car which made life a lot easier. Laura is super responsive and made our stay really easy. The cottage has all the appliances you would need and plenty of space. The bathroom was amazing with a lovely shower! We didn’t use the pool but it is well kept and there if you want to use it. We loved the easy access to the restaurants at Bay Gardens for a casual meal, especially the Hungry Pelican pizza. Thanks for a great stay!

Kiteboarders Heaven

Celebrated 50th birthday, some of us are kiters, great ‘homebase’ location for all. Perfect time to come, no cruise ships, winds great, island was essentially our playground. IF you do come in June, only caution is bring a LOT of bug spray and cans of fogger. Everyone donated a few pints to the local mosquitos as the breeze does not cut through the beautiful flora on the property. Will be back!!!!

A real gem of a property

Terra cottage is a cute, cosy cabin that is perfect for a quiet break in Antigua. It has a great little pool, that is not overlooked so you can relax and cool down without worrying about the neighbours! The cottage is in a little corner off the road with a nice cafe, coffee shop and bar/restaurant. All in all it’s a lovely place to spend some time. The lush vegetation does mean you need to be aware of the mosquitoes but it makes for such a lovely backdrop you won’t want to change a thing.

A slice of paradise

This property was amazing. Was in a great location and Everyone there made you feel right at home. The house is a perfect hideaway and a place id love to visit one day again in the future. House has everything whether you want to cook or not. Host is amazing and easy to get a hold of incase of anythijg.

Overall a very nice place

Nice home, somewhat secluded and surrounded by vegetation. There are 2 restaurants you can walk to near the end of the driveway and several little shops around the corner as well. Great communication with owner and property manager, both helpful when needed. Place could use a few updates which I will discuss with the owner.

Paradise in Antigua

Property is beautiful - pictures don't do it justice. It's tucked away in a lovely area which has some restaurants, bars, a local artists shop and the cutest coffee place. The location is ideal - definitely rent a car so you can easily get around. Between Laura and Kathy we had everything we needed, including tons of recommendations and help with bookings. The outdoor space is so calm and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The pool is perfect (we loved the cute little turtle) and there are multiple sun lounging spots. Inside the kitchen is fantastic - huge and all the equipment you could ever need. The bed is SUPER comfy. Bathroom is beautiful. Everything decorated so well. It really was a paradise home away from home. Super happy we chose to stay here rather than a hotel.

Amazing place. Secluded and private. Small piece of paradise in Antigua.

The property is fabulous. Very private and secluded and with all the essentials and amenities you would need. The host Laura was amazing. She went above and beyond to make our stay as incredible as it could be. This place was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of green space, contact with nature, private pool and yet close to St. John’s and some great beaches. Another big thanks to Amanda, Ebby and Kathy for making our stay even more awesome.

Fell in love with Antigua and Terra Cottage

Terra cottage is exactly as advertised! Within a few days of staying here, we were saying time to go home, and we meant to Terra Cottage. The veranda, pool, bedroom with king poster bed with netting and the ensuite bathroom were an oasis after busy days touring the island. Laura the owner ensured all of our pre trip answers were answered promptly and the onsite property manger along with her good friend helped us with every imaginable question or reservation for tours dining or driving directions. Our only concern about giving a glowing review is that it may give us competition for booking next year. Thank you Laura, Ebby and Kathy! Looking forward to see you next year!

A Week in Paradise

What a beautiful beautiful home you have here at Terra Cottage Antigua. We had everything that we needed and I mean everything! The air-conditioning was a godsend even though we had rain for two days. It was really weird arriving in the dark and with the rain as well (just like home!) but Gregson did take us to Epicurean and we bought our shopping. The weather changed by Tuesday and we were able to walk across to the restaurant which also was a godsend as it was right on our doorstep We ate there a couple of times and we also ordered takeaway for our evening meals. We asked Nalo to cook us some food which was gorgeous and also to make us some more roti. This holiday was indeed the holiday we were looking for. Pure relaxation in beautiful, tranquil surroundings and a home away from home. Thank you. At all times communication with Laura was excellent everything we needed to know we knew before we arrived. Kathy came the following day and ran through all the essentials which we appreciated and pointed us in the right direction to get everything that we needed. We also made two trips to town. We’ll be back.

Great stay!

The property was lovely and exactly as pictured. The host was very responsive and helpful. The location was very safe and extra bonus for a couple of amenities on the grounds including a great restaurant and spa. Other than that a car is recommended or the host will connect you with a local driver. Would definitely stay again!!

First time in Caribbean

We enjoyed our stay. Terra Cottage was well appointed and roomy. All mod cons, the pool and bbq made our stay very comfortable. 2 of the islands best attractions were minutes away. Cecilia’s and Le Bistro both excellent, the former being open lunchtimes and the latter evenings. Car essential if you wish to see the island. Kathy was incredibly helpful in booking restaurants and other excursions. The round the island cat trip well worth it.

Terra Cottage

Terra cottage was a great place to stay in Antigua. The cottage is located in a safe and convenient spot, which is very private and just a short drive from away from some the islands restaurants and markets. It is a very well equipped and clean place to stay, and had everything we needed during our trip! The pool is a great spot to relax and cool down as well! Laura was an excellent host, and made sure we had everything we needed/answered any questions we had - We plan on returning to Terra Cottage in the future, as we found it to be the perfect place to stay!
