I live with my husband and two children in a small village in the Surrey Hills. I enjoy walking in the beautiful countryside surrounding us, practising yoga and spending as much time as I can with my family and close friends.

We first fell in love with Cannes in 2008 and have even renewed our vows here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Holidaying in the South of France was a natural choice as we wanted somewhere we could get to easily and quickly, with a great location, in a traditional apartment building, close to all the restaurants and amenities there are to offer and with a guarantee of warm weather. Cannes is a special city - not too big or too small - with beautiful golden beaches, glamorous restaurants and cute cafes from Le Suquet to La Croisette, and the perfect base to explore more of the Cote d’Azur.

What makes our apartments unique is that they are located in the most sought-after area in Cannes: rue des Freres Casanova is a small cafe lined pedestrian street nestled between the busy rue d'Antibes and the lovely pedestrian street of rue Hoche.

This is the heart of Cannes with boutique shopping, cafes and restaurants: 4 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals, a 5-minute stroll to the beaches and just a block away from the train station - where you can travel to Toulon (to watch rugby), Nice, Monte Carlo and the markets of Ventimiglia in Italy.

Our 2 & 3-bedroom apartments are two hidden gems, located in the same building, they can accommodate 11 people in total. Ideally located on a pedestrian street in the chic restaurant and shopping area of central Cannes, you will be only a few minutes walk away from the Palais des Festivals, the golden beaches and train station, from which you can explore the rest of the French Riviera.

The greatest asset is the large private Terrace, full of Cypress trees, Jasmine climbing up trellises and bamboo plants to give a sense of calm - despite being in the centre of Cannes! We spend many hours relaxing in the sunshine, reading a book and enjoying meals around the dining table. The large pergola provides essential shade from the midday sun, or there are outdoor sofas and sunloungers if you prefer to soak up the rays! We then choose our times to go down to the beach for a swim, usually early in the morning or late afternoon.
