Great location. Went with my inlaws, husband and baby who is 1. The property owners thought of almost every single thing you would need for your stay! The place was very spacious and clean. Loved the outdoor deck that was also covered above you to shade you from the sun on very hot days. Would definitely stay there again

Fun at beach

Our stay consisted of 3 generations but the whole family was there. The males of the family are fisherman even our grandsons which gave our daughter & myself time to do whatever we wanted. The only time spent on the beach was for fishing which was ok with everybody.

Summer Rental August 2023

The place was great. Would have liked the bedroom windows draped for sleeping in. also, I know it can’t be helped but the air conditioning unit was loud at times when we were just sitting around watching TV. Overall it was great. Liked the proximity to the beach!

Ortley Beach family vacation First floor of the house, very spacious and clean, The grill worked well, walking distance to the beach was a big plus. only complaint was the pictures advertised in the Vrbo was for the second floor with the view of the ocean. The first floor does not have an ocean view at all because of the Dunes

great time on second visit

second stay at this property. We rented both units and prefer the lower one since the deck is covered. You don’t get beach views but shade is worth it for drinks in the evening. It’s a nice turnkey place with everything you need. Nice TVs, comfortable beds and most importantly perfect location. Steps from beach and close to boardwalk but in quiet area with access to everything. Landlords are very responsive if you run into any issues. Perefect for our family of 4

Family vacation

This is a balanced review. There are some good things, and not-as-good things about this rental. First some positive points. The location is amazing. You can see and hear the beach from the space and there is ample parking. The outdoor shower is perfect for cleaning up after the beach, especially with kids. There is a private patio good for a drink with a view or people watching. But the inside of the rental does not match the price tag. There are no overhead lights in the bedrooms, just lamps. The master bath has a rigged shower curtain attached on the bottom. Specific to our stay, there was an old pizza crust in one of the rooms and dirty, smelly dishes in the dishwasher. We were told a week prior that the dryer was broken and would not be repaired. This leaves the washer useless as well. A washer/dryer are a big deal to a family visiting the beach and a major reason to rent a VRBO and not a hotel. Things happen, but a very small refund (which I have been told I can not state the amount of, due to vrbo rules) and no effort to fix the dryer does not feel fair. So, this rental is adequate and in a great location to the beach, but we wouldn't stay here again.

Wonderful home!

House was great! Right across from the beach entrance and lots of parking. Home was super clean with lots of light. 2 bathrooms and very spacious bedrooms. Wonderful location. Walking distance to everything. Great vacation!

Great time for families

Location is amazing and definitely great for families with children. Beach is right there, beautiful views! super close so when you pack up all your beach stuff, set it all up and the kids want to go back after 20 minutes, you’re right there! Close to everything else too, restaurants, barnacle bills. House has plenty of room and an awesome deck area. House is packed with so much that you would need for cooking, laundry, etc. although we didn’t really use much of that. Rosemary was very responsive and booking/check in/check out was very easy. Definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Just a few steps away....

This was our second year at this property - we absolutely loved it here - it is right across from the boardwalk entry to the beach. The house had enough room for the adults, and one grandchild to be able to play. Parking under the house was a bonus - cars were never baking in the sun, plus it made it so easy to store things in the car. It is a good thing that the building material and windows are quality because unfortunately, on the weekend evenings, it seems that the young adults and teenagers gathered heavily and loudly at this particular corner. One evening, someone had to stay in my grandchild's room because we were afraid the noises would wake her up. But that was just a tiny speck of our family time together - it was great. Homeowner is quick to respond to questions too.

Our Week on the Beach

This was the perfect location! The condo was clean and spacious, directly across from the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. You can bicycle everywhere. Jerry’s Farmers market was the next block over with the BEST HOMEMADE BANANA BREAD a must try!! It was a perfect week for us!!

Wonderful Beach Week

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was immaculate and spacious with comfortable beds. We enjoyed the deck as well. Owners very responsive, efficient, and accommodating. Location was excellent as well. Highly recommend.
