Beautiful apartment right on a nice courtyard, near a minor canal. Water taxi access 150 feet away. Quiet, but on a main route. Clean, and exactly as described.

The location was close to everything and in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having 2 bathrooms with 4 adults. The washer and dryer was a plus. Luca was great! He helped
to familiarize us with the area and gave some nice recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

Best local sestierre
Non-tourist area with great food, wonderful stores, and lots of kids enjoying their campo at the end of the day. The way Venice used to be!
Kitchen appliances.
We loved that the building was old and had a lot of character and that the inside was beautifully renovated and modern for a very comfortable stay. The host met us and gave us great information not only about the property but also on Venice and explained the lay of the land. Our only complaint is that it is a bit loud (you can hear people above walking on the floors and toilets flushing), but we were out all day and this was nothing that earplugs at night couldn't manage! Would highly recommend this property!

Thank you so much for writing in Theresa. We're really delighted that you liked our Ca' Del monastero apartment! Hoping that we have the opportunity of welcoming you back to Venice again in the future.
We had a long day of travel and were so happy to meet up with our host and be escorted to the apartment. Everything was explained well and tips on where to go and a map were given. The best part was opening the door to a lovely living space and a beautiful cool apartment. It was great to have two bathrooms and the kitchen was so nice and separate from the main room. We loved over looking the square and people watching. It was super clean and well appointed. We were thrilled with the whole stay. Was well climate controlled and found that to be pretty rare in euorpe.
This is a lovely, clean and very comfortable apartment. The mattresses are wonderful and the decor is terrific. It is a very quiet and calm space. The kitchen has everything you need. Unfortunately, it seems they air out the apartment between guests, and that fills it with mosquitoes. I left with bites all over, including my face. Otherwise, my mom and I had a really great stay.

Thank you so much for writing in Nikki, we’re delighted you and your mom liked the our apartment and I really hope that we will see you again soon! Unfortunately mosquitos can be a nuisance in Venice, particularly during the warmer months, we provided now the apartment with plug-in mosquito repellents.
My family and I rented this VRBO for a short stay as we were traveling throughout Italy. Not only was the home exactly as described in as viewed in the pictures I actually feel like it was even prettier in person. The home was centrally located in an area where we could actually have some peace and quiet from the touristy areas. But it was also very close in walking distance of some of the best food in the local area as well as to touristy areas such as the Rialto Bridge. The staff was amazing on check-in and checkout and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We hope to visit again.

A very good place to stay in Venice.
the apartment was nicely renovated, with nice furniture, and everything working well.
in the kitchen the chairs make an awful noise. you could put strong textile pieces (felt) beneath the legs of the chairs. Also, some doors were squeaky, but I put oil on the hinges.

Many thanks for your kind review and and for your suggestion, we will certainly look into it. Hoping we have the pleasure of seeing you in Venice again soon.
You can bet that on my second visit to Venice I will stay at Ca' Del Monastero 6 in Campo San Zan Degola. The apartment was comfortable with everything that's needed for an extended stay (my daughter and I stayed for 6 nights). It is only a short walk from Campo San Giovanni where we found groceries, restaurants, coffee, and gelato. Equally close by is the San Stae landing for the vaporetto. Luca met us at check in and provided all the information we needed. He was a great resource for eatery recommendations and things to see in the city. Anyone planning to visit Venice cannot go wrong by staying here.

Hi Phillip! We are delighted to hear that things went so well for you! Having you as guests was a real pleasure and we very much hope to see you again soon. With thanks for your kind comments.
Bridges, alleys, courtyards and canals. What a great location. Quiet, but close to everything. Forget the water taxis and the crowds. Restaurants and grocery store just a 3 minute walk away. The apartment itself was so spacious. Large entry, big living room, kitchen, 2 beds and 2 baths (no ensuite). One bath only had a tub (too bad). Lots of closets too. Management company, Views on Venice, were very welcoming and dependable too. They had an agent waiting at the apartment when we arrived who explained evrything for us. Highly recommend this apartment and management company.

Views on Venice was founded in the late 1990’s when the concept of short term apartment rentals was in its infancy and rarely considered an option by most visitors to the city. As a ‘thirty-something’ Venetian excited by the new business and communication opportunities offered by the internet, I decided to link up with a close childhood friend in creating a partnership which, at the time, was a novelty in Venice. The idea we had in mind was to approach the traditional management of my family’s apartments from an entirely different angle, while at the same time resisting the attentions of those wanting to transform my family's palazzo into a prestigious hotel. Our aim was to offer these apartments, as well as those of friends, for rental to an international clientele who’d take pleasure in the comfort, freedom and authenticity of ‘living at home as a Venetian’ rather than merely observing the city from the confines of an anonymous hotel room or suite. The common denominator then, as now, was to offer ‘something extra’ amidst an already extraordinary city - an added dimension which turns a ‘stay’ into an ‘experience’ and a 'dream' into 'reality'.
