About Nicole Riley
Juston was born in Rexburg, Idaho but grew up in Northern Logan, Utah. Nicole was born in upstate New York. We met at BYU-Idaho country dancing. Juston knew when Nicole walked onto the dance floor that he wanted to marry her. It took much more convincing for Nicole... but after much debating she decided it wouldn't be the worst thing ever.... They were married in 2010... then he decided to be self-employed... maybe it was the worst thing ever :) Our life is fun and full of adventure. We wouldn't want it any other way. We have 3 beautiful kids who are growing faster than we ever knew was possible.
Nicole Riley purchased this Estate in 2012
Why Nicole Riley chose Rexburg
As our little family began to grow, so did our extended family. We found ourselves wanting to get together, but having a difficult time finding a place that we could all comfortably visit. When the school became available it seemed like the perfect solution. We have enjoyed countless family gathers at the old school and are looking forward to many more. We hope you enjoy our school as much as we do.
What makes this Estate unique
One of the best things about the school is the gym. It is a great place to play, hang out, and eat. No matter what the Idaho weather is doing, there is always room for fun in the gym. We provide dining room (Tables and chairs) in the gym for over 150 people at one time. This is perfect when you have a large group staying at the school. Some people may enjoy camping outside, but still want a place to gather inside.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Awesome Fun place for large group.
We loved being at the Old School Inn. The owners are awesome and easy to contact. It had lots of room, lots of bed, lots of fun things for the kids. We had about 90 people coming and going during our stay. Most of them stayed the night and we had plenty of room. We will be returning in a couple of years for our next big reunion!
Corky ..... and fun
We rented this for a large work event and we had a blast. Great place to have activities and lots of people!
Perfect for Big Families
The house was perfect for a big family. Enough space that you do not feel on top of each other. Also there are places in the inn that you can get away for a peace and quiet if needed. The only problem we had was with the breaker in the kitchen went out while cooking and we could not get a hold of the property manager to get power back on. Cell phone service was spotty which created it difficult to get in contact with property manager when help was needed. Once we did get a hold of manager he was very helpful and attentive. Overall very fun and kind property managers.
Archer School House
We recently stayed at the Archer School House for 5 days. It is great for a large family group. Not so nice you have to worry about the wear and tear associated with hosting a large group. But, we loved the gym, it had plenty of fun toys to entertain the children. The owners were great to work with. Don't stay here if you want a Hilton experience, but if you need to house a large group and want a place to enjoy together, this is great!
A fantastic place for a family reunion
We rented the school for our family reunion. This turned out to be a great place, offering activities for every age. The basketball court was great for the teenagers (in all of us) to let off a bit of energy, doubled as a cafeteria to feed the masses, became a stage to the talented performers, and any other activity we wanted to enjoy indoors. A baseball field, volleyball court, and other games in the massive yard outside gave everyone a place to get outdoors and enjoy some family competition.
When it was dark outside, a movie on the big screen let everyone settle down before a great night's sleep. There was a bed for everyone, which is unusual with our large family. And for those who wanted to tuck in early, the walls of the school kept the bedrooms quiet despite the commotions going on elsewhere.
We also found the place to be conveniently located to many other great activities. Rexburg is only about 10 minutes away. We rented equipment from BYU-I, had a picnic in the park (while the kids were enjoying the free water park), went hiking and wading in the river at the Teton Dam, visited a few museums, and much more. There was something for everyone to enjoy.
The Rileys are doing an excellent job restoring the place. They kept the historic feel of the school, while giving you many of the modern conveniences and making you feel like you're at home. They were immediately available should we have any problems, not that we did!
When it was time to depart, no one wanted to leave. Everyone agreed we want to come back soon!
Great family place!!
My kids really enjoyed our weekend there. There was something for all ages to do. The beds were comfy, and there were the kitchen was roomy.
Just an hour and a half from Yellowstone National Park and an hour and a half from Jackson Hole Wyoming, this is the perfect spot for a wonderful trip. We are just one block from Big Jud's burger joint, which has been featured on Man vs. Food on the travel channel. There is also great fishing on the Snake River, just a few miles from the school. BYU-I is also less than 10 miles away. Kelly Canyon is 15 miles away for some Skiing or Grand Targhee is only an hour and 20 minutes away. If it's hot springs you're looking for, Heise Hot Springs is 10 miles away or Green Canyons is 35 miles. There are several options for hiking in the area, Table Rock is a good one. Cress Creek is a nice and easy paved hiked. Some other enjoyable activities include: Rexburg LDS Temple, Mesa Falls, Teton Dam site, Legacy Flight Museum, Porter Park Carousel (and free splash pad in the summer), Yellowstone Bear World, Rexburg Rapids, and Teton Vu Drive-In movie theater.
