Great location to explore the Big Island
This property is an amazing value. Located in the sunbelt of HPP. The Big Island is just that, BIG! For your daily adventures this location is a great starting home base. We are so excited to share our Aloha Suite. The suite is a 500 sq. ft. indoor living space with a 320 sq. ft. Covered Lanai. The Aloha Suite sits on a one acre lot just minutes to the ocean. The property is on a well system with great drinking water (No Catchment). Our Property has some amazing lava formation on the property. We carved out and saved as much of the natural landscaping of the property. As you pull in and park in your private spot next to your private suite, you will notice the large lava mound right there to explore. Your private Lanai awaits you as you begin to unwind and hear the crashing of the ocean throughout your stay.
This is a great location to explore the Big Island. Amazing Black Sand beaches as close as 20 to 30 min away. The Volcano National Park entrance 30 to 35 min away. Ocean Whale watching areas (Seasonal) and spectacular ocean views 10 to 15 minute walk. Down town Hilo 25 to 35 minutes. Gas & Food 15 to 20 min. A great location!
Guest will have their own private suite separate from the main house.
There is wifi for the suite along with Satellite TV. The DVR is loaded with movies. The kitchenette and large refrigerator allows you to cook and prepare your own meals. There is BBQ as well for all your grilling needs.
Interaction with guests
Our goal is to make your stay the best possible. We live on site and will be sure to advise our guests of the fun and exciting things to see and do. We are available for our guest as much or as little as needed. This is your getaway.
Hawaiian Paradise Park (also known as HPP) is located in the Puna District of East Hawaii, approximately 15 miles southeast of Hilo. This subdivision fronts State Highway 130 and stretches 4 miles to the Pacific Ocean and is 3 1/2 miles wide. The community is close to shopping, dining, and cultural activities in Hilo, Volcano, and Keaau. Of all the subdivisions in lower Puna, HPP is closest to Hilo, meaning shorter commute times to Hawaii’s second largest city – the business heart of east Hawaii.
Best to have a rental car. A 4-wheel drive is not necessary to navigate the HPP area or majority of the sites to see here on the Big Island
Other things to note

Aloha and thank you for checking out our Aloha Suite. I moved to the Big Island in 2016 with my wife Lori. We came for a vacation and ever since then we felt a call to move here. We hope your stay here is amazing and renewing.
Alan purchased this Guest House in 2017
Why Alan chose Hawaiian Paradise Park
Location, Location, Location. The Aloha Suite sits next to a huge Lava rock. Start your day on the large Lanai with your cup of fresh brewed coffee. Then it's off to see Hawaii. Majority of the sites to see are 20-35 minutes away. Why waste your time driving, when from the Aloha Suite your adventure is a short drive away. Want to see other side of the Island a mere one hour and 30 minutes gets you to some amazing beach sites. After a day of exploring, end the night by listen to the sounds of the ocean and our Coqui frogs.

Quaint, cozy and comfortable.
We had an amazing time. The hosts were wonderful in every way and went above and beyond to make sure our stay memorable. We have already recommended this property to several friends and plan on returning in the future as well.
Great private getaway!
Alan, our host from the Aloha Suite was so helpful!
This was our first visit to Hawaii!
We took an airplane from Honolulu to check out the Big island and stayed one night.
First of all I was grateful that they took one night bookings, the suite is off the beaten path, which we loved, after we booked he had sent over attachments with places to go, things to do, restaurants to eat at, detailed maps, towns in the area, etc.
The suite was spacious, and had an out door eating area, big walk in shower, and kitchen area. On Alan's recommendation we enjoyed snorkeling at the Kapoho Tidepools, They also provide the snorkeling equipment and beach towels, and said the food at Kaelo's Bar & Grill, was good and it was! His information was such a big help that made our stay so delightful!
Thank you for taking care of us!

Hawaii Life in Keaau
My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. Alan (our host) was very helpful with activity and food choices. Our bed and villa were extremely comfortable and we felt right at home. We usually stay on the Kona side of the Big Island, so it was fun to experience a beautiful sunrise versus a sunset. I would encourage anyone to choose this vrbo. Sincerely, Darrin from Fresno, CA
The property is all secure and safe very clean quiet cozy
Property owners are very nice and they are helpful that property is comfortable and all your needs are there great place to stay while visiting the Big Island
Very comfortable and cozy inside
My wife and I stayed at Alan and Lori's cottage for three weeks. We would highly recommend this comfortable little cottage. It's about a ten minute drive to the fun little hippie town of Pahoa, where you can walk around and find coffee shops and a wide range of restaurants with live music.
We really enjoyed taking walks at night in the quiet country neighborhood around cottage, it is amazingly dark and great for Stargazers.
The king size bed was very comfortable and the bedroom had enough trade winds blowing in from the windows to keep it cooler during the night.
They have WIFI and satelite "Direct TV" with a bunch of movies to watch. There are also board games and some good books to read.
Alan and Lori are truly very nice people and they are always very accommodating when you need them. They offered us nice tropical fruits and always made sure we where happy with everything during our stay.
You will not regret staying on vacation here. It was reletively less expensive to stay at "The Aloha Suite" then other vacation rentals in the area and super comfy inside.
Very nice and clean place.
