Almost oceanfront, well equipped condo conveniently located in White Sands Village on Alii Dr - just 4 miles from Kona Village Center- 2nd floor w/elevator access right outside the unit -sleeps up to 4 people with a king bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds or 1 king in the guest bedroom. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa. There are two flat screen smart TVs, cable and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking/dining in and has full size appliances. Washer and dryer in the unit. The large lanai offers ocean and mountain views with a table for outdoor dining and lounger. Ceiling fans and central air conditioning will keep you cool. A single space reserved covered parking is directly below the unit.

Cross the street and you'll have your toes in the warm sand at White Sand Beach, also known as Magic Sands Beach. Bask in the sun, go boogie boarding in the waves, swim with the dolphins or just relax and enjoy the sunset at this popular beach. The beach has a staffed lifeguard stand, outdoor shower, restrooms and a beach volleyball court.

Just a mile down the road is the famous, protected snorkeling beach Kahalu'u - with tons of colorful tropical fish and green sea turtles - great for beginners and experts. Beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, are available for your use at the condo. Also close by are paddle boarding, kayaking and surfing rentals.

The complex has resort-like amenities: pool and hot tub, tennis courts, pool table, and outdoor kitchen/grills/dining area.

The complex is just 4 miles south of Kona village with it's many restaurants, boutiques, gift shops, massage, Henna tattoos, and a Farmer's Market. The pier downtown is a great starting point for a paddle or an open-water swim with the dolphins along the marked IronMan World Triathlon course. A ride on the open-air Alli Trolley is a fun way to travel to town.

Keahou Shopping Center- groceries, Longs Drug, theater, Post Office, restaurants, farmers market (Sat.) and outdoor concerts- is only 2 miles to the south.

Beautiful location

Overall comfortable stay, literally across the beach, beach was beautiful with calm, would definitely stay again, the coffee was very much appreciated, wish there was a toaster but they did have a toaster oven and maybe one extra roll of paper towel. Condo had everything for a nice family vacation, costco and walmart 20 min drive. Hope to come back again

Our family enjoyed our stay at White Sands Village. The condo is in a great location. We loved being able to walk to the beach and the excellent restaurant, Magics Beach Grill, was a nice surprise. We were also very close to a beach area known for its snorkeling and it was convenient to shopping and the grocery store. The condo was clean, the beds were comfortable, the patio was spacious and a great place for evening drinks and relaxing. The condo was well stocked with kitchen items and all you need for a fun day at the beach. We would highly recommend this condo for your big island trip.

Out of the busy noise of Kona, this location is easy access with a great pool for kids and adults alike.We love the lanai for evening drinks or morning coffee, and the beds are VERY comfortable.The owner always responsive and helpful, not issues whatsoever. Thanks!

Perfect location and great amenities

We stayed for a week in March/April and had a really wonderful time. The location was so perfect - magic sands beach across the street was a constant fun-filled beach with body surfable waves and sea turtles every single day. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely when we needed a break from the crowd. We really appreciated the snorkeling gear and beach chairs that were at the apartment and used them most days. The beds were comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. We highly recommend!

Kona Fun

The Condo was as advertised, we also took advantage to enjoy the pool, BBQ gills, and hot tub on the property. It was just the right size for our family of 4. We were very happy with the directions and instructions sent by the owners. Having the trolly/bus was a big advantage as it costs to park everywhere. A great location with several of the bays/public beaches withing a short walk or quick drive.

Nice spot on the ocean

This was a very comfortable place to stay on the big island. This VRBO was probably the best equipped apartment we’ve ever stayed in. I really appreciated the Keurig coffee maker. We use one of these at home and love the five star coffee it makes. The exterior services of pool hot tub grills were all very good. In the evening, we could walk a mere 500 steps to the shoreline to see the sunsets. The beds and bedding were comfortable, and the showers were very good as well. Lots of cooking utensils we would stay here again.

The property was in a great location. Certainly a little dated and could use a good Deep cleaning. Overall, it was a good place to stay, close to the water.

Good Holiday Trip

There were lots of pluses to the unit. Nice being right by the elevator and close to pool entrance. The shades on the lanai were great as the sun this time of year shines right in. Everything was neat and clean except prior guests left dishes and silverware not quite clean so we washed them by hand to get the residue off. It was wonderful having a regular coffee maker as well as Keurig as we don't use the pods. Beds were very comfy and we love the location and have stayed at the complex before. We will definitely be going back again.

Was supposed to be 4 adults, ended up with 2. Home was clean and comfy, though outdated and could use some refreshing. Location across from the beach was great. Had everything needed. Owner response was fast. Pool and hot tub sign up req'd currently due to COVID, but wasn't a big issue. Overall, a pretty nice stay!

Best place so far

Loved being right across from the beach. Also near free trolley stop. The pool right down stairs was wonderful with hot tub attached. Lanai was spacious with beach chairs and noodles available to use. Lots of nice people and were respectful to each other. Not close to shops but we didn’t need that except groceries. Highly recommend it. Not noisy either, even though close to road.

Perfect Kona Location

Our family of 4 stayed here and had an absolutely wonderful time. The condo is really nice. Two bedrooms and two baths. A living area and kitchen and a huge balcony. The place was well stocked with all we needed for cooking breakfasts and the occasional dinner meal. The hosts provided handy things like beach towels, chairs, coolers, etc that made spending a day at the beach so easy and comfortable. The beach immediately across the street was very nice and convenient. Parking was easy and convenient. The hosts were great to deal with. We just had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again if we get back to the big island.

Great location

Property was in a great location, with a clear view of the ocean and right across the street from a beach. This part of the beach was, unfortunately, under construction but I’m sure it is beautiful otherwise. There is a free trolley that can take you downtown and to a nearby shopping center and it runs hourly. You can also walk to nearby food and a market place. The island itself is unimaginably beautiful. We are already planning a return trip.

Good stay, just not perfect.

Apartment was just as it is listed. Our only issue was that the dishes were dirty in the cupboards. We had to hand wash everything before using. The beach is 3-4 minute walk away and very convenient. You can hear the noise from the pool but it wasn't a big deal. We had an inconvenience that the vehicle we had rented was too large for the parking spot, but the manager quickly arranged parking in visitor spots which was greatly appreciated. Would we stay again? Absolutely.

Amazing place

Nothing but good words to say about this place and unit. Great location, easy access. Amazing pool, hot tub, and picnic area (BBQs available for use). Unit was really spacious, enough room for 6. Our 2 teenagers had their own beds in a separate room. Big lanai with chairs and table, all our meals were taken outside on the lanai. There is even a drying rack on the lanai, so we could hang all our wet towels and bathing suits to dry overnight. Full kitchen, with lots of pots and pans. Even basic cooking necessities were available in the kitchen : oil, vinegar, several spices, coffe, tea, ketchup, mayo, etc. Also included, a lot of useful items: beach chairs, beach mattress, cooler, etc. Unit was very clean and well maintained. We were completely pleased with that unit, we definitely recommend it to anyone going to Big Island.

4 Adults — Great Hawaii Vacation

We have been to Kona many times, and for us this was a perfect arrangement. The overall complex of condominiums is quiet, clean and manicured nicely. We love this location because it is about 4 miles away from downtown Kona, and therefore quiet and peaceful, while being just across the street from a small sandy beach. Individuals with small children will not find this an ideal place to stay since the complex owners strongly encourage children to be quiet and not create loud situations particularly around the pool and hot tub. The pool is nice but is certainly not well-suited for small children who cannot swim. I work condominium was very pleasantly stocked with everything necessary to clean and manage a home. I was very pleased and impressed with the selection of cooking utensils, towels, beach chairs, bedding and general cleaning supplies. THANK YOU so much to the condominium owners, ‘Gary and Treva for allowing us to stay for two weeks!

Wonderful stay at White Sands village

family of 4 2 adults and 2 teenagers 14 and 17, traveled from NYC to Kona 4/19-4/29. We chose the property due to its size so we can be comfortable, boys are 6ft + and couldn’t do pullout couches anymore. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was such a huge convenience!! We also chose this property because of the proximity to the beach !! Across the street, for us who are beach bums it was perfect. And what an amazing beach!! The property was very clean although very dated. Some reno would be nice. Spotless clean, new and fresh bed sheets new towels, and completely equipped kitchen. I felt I’m walking in to my own kitchen- cuisinart toaster oven and air fryer ( new) , Keurig, coffee maker, mixer, juicer lots of kitchen utensils for anything you need. Lots of toiletries in both bathrooms. Cabinets were also stocked up. The check in process was a bit challenging, as we couldn’t get the keys out of the lock with the code .. but after fumbling around we got in.. communication with owner was a bit choppy, he asked to be texted but he didn’t respond timely .. we didn’t really need him , but still ( I guess we are spoiled by other experiences) one of days another car was parked in our parking spot and we didn’t know what to do, the guest parking doesn’t allow overnight parking.. owner didn’t respond till next day so had to figure out, no one was available ( was late) had to find the property manager, call his cl ask for permission to park the car etc. Otherwise we loved everything!!

The apartment had everything we needed for a perfect vacation stay. I stayed with my mom, dad, and my two kids, and it was ideal for our extended family. The owners are incredibly caring—they provided all the essential hygiene items, clean and new bed linens, and even beach supplies. We truly felt at home. Thank you so much for everything.
