Unique Romantic Beach House by the Atlantic Ocean

Azenhas do Mar Beach House by Lisbon Dreams (40613/AL) is a unique beach house - located on the cliff of Azenhas do Mar & offering breathtaking views to the Atlantic Ocean.

The space

The closeness to some of the most beautiful beaches of Portugal (Praia Grande, Praia da Adraga) and also to Lisbon and Sintra turns the village into the perfect spot for your holidays. Besides the picturesque views and fresh ocean breathe, the little village has also some comfort to offer with its restaurants, supermarkets and cafes.

Guest access

Our beach house has two small bedrooms, one bathroom, living room with a fully equipped kitchen area (inc. dishwasher).
Both of the bedrooms have a double bed. There is also possibility to set up a sofa-bed in the living room. All guests are provided with bedlinen and shower towels.
Additionally, the house has a balcony with a direct view to the Atlantic Ocean. There is a dining table as well as chairs for relaxing. Guests can use BBQ equipment.

Interaction with guests

Our family & team are available to provide the guests with all the necessary touristic and practical information regarding our house, the village and its surrounding areas.
Some of the check-ins are done in person (at the airport or in the house), others are pre-arranged for independent arrival.

The neighborhood

Azenhas do Mar is a little village overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Despite its size, it has a well-developed infrastructure, with restaurants, cafés and supermarkets. It´s closeness to other towns/villages and to some of the best beaches of Portugal, makes it an attractive home-base for one´s holidays.

Not only is Azenhas do Mar a great destination for one´s summer holidays, additionally it has also a lot of charm for any kind of romantic or relaxing break & holidays. Sitting on a balcony with a powerful sounds and beautiful views of an ocean can be a unique experience for anybody.

Getting around

Travelling by car is the best way to come to Azenhas do Mar as it enables you to go easily around the neighbouring cities and beaches. Azenhas do Mar itself is small, therefore walking around the village is a perfect activity.

Beautiful location in abasic house

The location is wonderful, good restaurants around. Wonderful view. Very good beds But the house itself needs some Refurbishment. The price for almost €2000,- is quite high for this very basic house.

We had a very good time, even though the weather was not the best. The lack of hot water in the house was a bit of a hindrance.

The property did not present as advertised. It is very much false advertising. I’ve taken actual photos of what the place looked like inside. It was way over priced for the actual conditions. I would like my money back !!!

The location is beautiful, but this is the only good thing about the flat. Maintenance of the equipment is aweful, the rooms smaller than on the pictures, storage room for clothes limited. We were two and stayed for 10 nights. A familiy with 2 kids for 21 days would suffer with the space. Overall: far too expensive. We paid at least 50% to much - maybe for the beautiful view? Meine Kinder liebten die kleine Wohnung mit einem Feeling von einer „Studentenbude“. Die Küche bzw. Die Einrichtung ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Vor allem die Küche und die Wohnzimmer-Couch haben ihre besten Jahre hinter sich. Die Wohnung hat eine super Lage und eine sehr gute Aussicht, was so einiges wieder gut macht. Vor allem die Matratzen waren neu und sehr gut.

Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist hervorragend. Gepflegte Wohnung, kleine Abstriche in Bad und Küche. Bedingt durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit korrodieren Edelstahlbehälter schneller und sollten gelegentlich ausgetauscht werden. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte gemütliche Wohnung in grandioser Lage.

The location and setting was spectacular! Talk about eye candy!! It was fun watching the surf and the flow of visitors as well. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant Agua e Sal a very short walk from the house. Hosts had a small clay chorizo grill which we used to grill the black pig chorizo we found at the supermercado atlantica which was located just south of praia de maca. Delicious! Didn't really see the sun during our stay and used the small fireplace to take the chill out of the air. Our hostess was wonderful and responded promptly with any assistance we needed. Would definitely go back again!!
