Beautiful Cottage, set in a very relaxing place, located in Praia das Maçãs, Colares, Sintra, (AL Local Lodging License 8056) Lisbon Coast, 10 minutes by foot from Praia das Maçãs village, where you can find restaurants with excellent food as well as shops selling local crafts and a swimming-pool with sea water. There are also familiar bars and discotheques.
It is set near magnificent white sandy beaches such as Praia Grande, Praia Pequena, Praia da Adraga, Aguda, Magoito, etc. In 20 minutes you can find another wonderful beach 'Guincho'/Cascais where the world championship of windsurf is held.
Situated between Sintra and Cascais, a good location to explore the area.
Azenhas do Mar is a picturesque village near Praia das Maçãs, with a small beach and natural swimming pool.
In Praia das Maças village, near the house, you will find a tram line that connects Praia das Maçãs and Sintra, world heritage site declared by UNESCO, and the most typical village from the Royal family history, only 8 Km from the cottage”. This romantic cottage has a terrace and a nice garden with a private swimming pool.
It has a 2 bedrooms, 1 complete bathroom and a fantastic garden with a heating pool.
It has a full equipped kitchenette, a living and dinning room.
The cottage is in a condominium.
We have also air conditioned and a Internet wireless.

Perfect base near Sintra
We had a wonderful week at the house. Rosa was very helpful and friendly with very good English. The house was well stocked with essentials and provided a lovely welcome basket.
Air con was good and heated pool very welcome with a nice private space for eating outside and BBQ. The house is a short walk to the village which has a number of good restaurants and shops as well as the beach. The best beaches in this part of Portugal, Praia da Adraga and Praia Ursa are close by, whilst the palaces and parks of Sintra are 8 kms away. Sintra is also a very handy point to catch the train into Lisbon for a good day trip.
I would be very happy to return to the house and this part of Portugal.
