  • Great Apartment

"My wife and I, our two grown kids, and their significant others spent 3 nights in Florence in Massimo's Grande Pepi apartment. It was our first time in Italy. The apartment is in a great location, and is just as the pictures make it look. We used the kitchen really only for snack type things and making coffee. Florence is a wonderful city, and it is all entirely walkable from the apartment. The apartment is also tucked away down a very quiet street, so there was literally no street noise to contend with. I would rent this apartment again if we are ever able to return to Florence. While you are there I recommend you check out the Scuola del Cuoio for your leather purchases."

  • A great place to stay in Florence!

"We recently stayed in the Quercia, located in the San Frediano neighborhood of Florence. The neighborhood and location are great, just a short walk to all the tourist sites, but in a real neighborhood with local shops and bakeries. The apartment itself was lovely and fitted out with everything you would need in the kitchen. Not just a few plates and glasses, but full sets of kitchenware and enough pots and pans to cook a meal if you wanted to! The apartment has a back garden which is the sweetest place to sit for your glass of wine or to eat breakfast. We especially loved the open air panini stand and the Angolo Sapporo bakery about a block away from the apartment along the main road, and the wine store about 2 blocks in the other direction. Our greeter Veronica wasn't able to meet us as we arrived, but sent her daughter to let us in. Veronica came a bit later, and although rushed, she marked on our map some spots, such as markets and shops, that we wouldn't have know about otherwise. Just a note to Italy Perfect, the greeter can take photos of the passports, no need to bring paper copies. Also, the tourist tax just seems to be due by the time you leave, we left if for Veronica when we left at the end of our stay. I would not hesitate to stay at the Quercia or book through Italy Perfect again!"

  • Better than expected

"We couldn't have picked a more perfect and romantic place to spend our honeymoon and Christmas. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The terrace above was a spectacular place to eat breakfast. It was also a great place to stop by in the afternoon as a break from walking around, as well as at night. It's truly a panoramic view of the city. The greeter that was nice enough to let us in at 11pm. He also gave us a map and pointed out some great restaurants nearby and important nearby sights he recommended. He pointed out the Uffizi, Academy of Arts, Michelangelo's Plaza, and other places. The apartment was about a three minute walk down some steps to the Ponte Vecchio. Before reaching the Ponte Vecchio, around the corner is a grocery store, wine shop, and a very nice place to eat called Golden View, which is on the Arno and overlooks the Ponte Vecchio. Our surrounding area was very safe and in a great part of town. I would recommend Italy Perfect to a friend, and we are even hoping to return to this apartment for an anniversary or something someday!"
