About this property

Wildlife Themed Cabin - Close to everything! 1 mile to Yellowstone Park!

This property is located 1 mile from the entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is minutes from shops and restaurants but located on the edge of town in a quiet neighborhood.
The master bedroom has a king bed and a smart TV and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The living room has a brand new couch, that converts to a very comfortable queen memory foam sleeper sofa, and a 48 inch smart TV that is connected to our WiFi and has a Netflix account ready to use. Unfortunately we do not have cable TV. We also have a DVD player and a small selection of DVDs from which to choose. The kitchen has a table that seats 6 and contains brand new stainless-steel appliances including a ceramic stove-top, range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all the cooking and dining ware you will need. The house has 2 full bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom has a bath tub/shower combo and the downstairs bathroom has a shower. We also have a full size washer and dryer for your use. There is a one car garage to park a small vehicle in OR to store your hunting, fishing, or snowmobiling gear in. Out front is a small deck with a gas grill and bistro table with two chairs.
It will be a relaxing place to come home to after a busy day touring Yellowstone. Perfect for small families, two couples, or two adults who would like different bedrooms.
We have two rentals side by side. The other rental is the same layout, but has a Western theme. The VRBO number for the other rental house is 1034764.

Great place to stay

Super nice place to stay. Very close to the park entrance. King bedroom with lots of space very comfortable and clean. Loved our stay. Lots of souvenir shops to browse through. Just a few blocks from every thing. The only downside is no AC but opened the windows for cold air to keep you comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Owner left coffee and chocolates for us. Washer and dryer to have laundry done before our visit was done. Beautiful and quiet.

West Yellowstone stay

Sarah is a super host. I stayed at her property for 3 nights 4 days and had a blast. Everything was well arranged and kept inside the house with a very well informed guest/welcome book with detailed self-help instructions about the property and attractions around. Nice Little House near Yellowstone

Great little house, comfortable and perfect for four people. Location is fantastic, very close to amenities in West Yellowstone. Easy access to the park and all it has to offer!

Yellowstone vacation

We needed a home base for the Yellowstone portion of our trip. We chose this property when an issue came up with a similar house with the same location, layout and owner came up initially. The house had everything we needed and was well equipped and stocked. We appreciated the welcome gift and recommendations for restaurants. The beds were comfortable. Sarah gave great directions and was responsive to any questions we had.

Perfect Basecamp!

We could not have picked a better place to stay! It was comfortable, clean and just minutes away from shops, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations and the entrance to West Yellowstone. Sarah, the host, was phenomenal and graciously helped us out when we realized we’d left something behind in Rapid City. We look forward to staying at her place again in the future!

Excellent quiet location

This was our home base during our 4 day Yellowstone trip. Great quiet location. Home was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 bedrooms downstairs. Kitchen is fully stocked. Was happy to find bear spray in the laundry room (luckily did not need to use). Overall highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay overall! Place was very clean and was everything we needed. The property manager replied very quickly to any question I had and was very helpful. It was also very useful to have spices, olive oil, pots and pans available to use so we could cook at home. Also very close to the west yellowstone entrance, 5-10 min away, which was useful as we had very early mornings at yellowstone. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Yellowstone vacation

This was a perfect spot for our Yellowstone vacation. We had breakfast at the house, packed a lunch and snacks, and were able to access the West gate to the park within 5-10 minutes each day. We also really appreciated the dinner recommendations for supper in the evenings. The house was clean and comfortable, with adequate dishes/ pans etc. A very good experience!

This was a great place to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Just right for two couples. The beds were very comfortable. A great location for accessing downtown and the park. Sarah was easy to reach by text and phone when we ran into a wi-fi snag and took care of it promptly. Thank you so much.

Clean and close

Very clean and 5 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. Sarah is very responsive! One thing to note is bedrooms are down about 12 stairs. I don’t think this was in the description. There are also about 6 steps to get into the house.

Perfect!

This is exactly what we were looking for. I loved all the "at home" touches like boxes of Kleenex, laundry detergent, spotlessness, nice linens, soft beds, condiments like salt, pepper, mayo, mustard, etc., nice skillets, tasteful artsy decor, and Netflix. Everything was up to par. Also, Sarah went above and beyond to respond to any of our questions promptly, and even left us a little surprise gift. I couldn't have asked for anything more!

Overpriced and underwhelming

When I added in taxes and fees, we paid over $400 per night. Absolutely outrageous for what you get or rather don’t get! The cabin is next to low income housing and just down from very run down mobile homes. It is dark inside and has minimal furnishings like a picnic table in the kitchen is the only place to eat. Bedrooms are in the basement which I totally dislike. Floors are cheap laminate made to look like wood. Bathroom showers are fiberglass. That would be fine for $100 per night but not $400! No shampoo or conditioner like most places. No fluffy towels, but scratchy ones. Dirty dish rack and dusty under TV area. You can do much better than this property. I know we have in many many places around the worl for less.

Cute place convenient to town and Yellowstone

Communication prior to our stay including restaurant recommendations and check in process was great and questions were promptly answered. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. It was a tight squeeze to get between the kitchen and bedrooms/bathrooms when the sleeper sofa was out but it was nice to be able to fit six of us. The house was clean and comfortable and very conveniently located to various restaurants and the park. We would definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity to return.

Perfect Yellowstone Stay!

For our family of 5, with three older sons, this rental was perfect for our family. The bedrooms downstairs were very comfortable and cool during the summer heat. Our oldest slept on the sofa bed with a fan and was very comfortable. Communication with the owner was timely and descriptive. We had zero issues with check in and the condition of the rental was as described. It is very easy to get into Yellowstone from this property.

Cute and clean cabin in West Yellowstone

The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive during the booking process and the cabin and its’ amenities were accurately reflected in the provided photos. We’ll stay here again.
