Enjoy our lake house available for weekly rentals in Cambridge, Wisconsin. Just one block off beautiful Lake Ripley, you're steps away from 450 acres of fishing, boating, water skiing, canoeing or just lounging around. We have a large public beach about one (1) mile away. The Cambridge Lake House is located just 130 miles from downtown Chicago.

Quiet and Convenient Escape

Host friendly and accommodating and easy to speak to. Lake house was clean, well stocked and well located. If we return to Madison, this vrbo will certainly be our first choice to stay.

Short but enjoyable stay

We stayed here for three nights on a brief trip, just needing a place to stay with our dog. We had quite a bit of fun during our stay. The nearby town of Cambridge is completely charming. The Lake access is nice, although we did not have a chance to use it. The cabin is well appointed. Scott and Keith were very helpful in getting us oriented to the house and the area. We have talked about returning!

Cozy Quiet Cabin

This house is a cozy place in a quiet neighborhood. Both clean and comfortable. 20 minutes from Madison. Beautiful lake Ripley. Several good resturaunts nearby. Fantastic hosts.

Peaceful cabin getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin. Great outdoor spaces and living areas to gather. Comfortable beds. Easy walk to lake access and dock. The town of Cambridge is really cute, with great restaurants and fun shops. The hosts are fantastic and great with communication!

Paddle Boat Paradise

Had a wonderful time at the lake house. Access to the water was easy and convenient and plenty of fun toys to tour the lake. Kids had a great time and so did our dog. What a fantastic way to enjoy beautiful lake Ripley. See you all again soon!

Family weekend in Madison, WI

This was a perfect stay for our family weekend stay in Madison. We needed a place where we could relax and bring the whole family (including the dogs) to visit our daughter in college. Really appreciate the communication from Keith on the property. Highly recommend this property for others.

Serenity by the lake

We chose this property mostly for the location, as we were visiting family in Cambridge and didn't want to drive in from Madison every day. This cabin is in a peaceful and beautiful environment. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. WiFi and cable TV worked perfectly. The initial walkthrough with the host was thorough and helpful, and communication throughout our stay was great (via text and in the printed booklet).

Fantastic!

This cabin was just the right size and location for us. Our group of friends was able to enjoy downtown Madison with an easy drive in and out of the city. We enjoyed the lake house cabin feel that you would normally get "up north" in Wisconsin. Everything was clean and stocked with any supplies / amenities we needed. The owner was very responsive and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

Just what we needed

Not the common scenario, we had a family emergency and could not leave our dog at home or boarded. The property was just what we needed on short notice. Despite the lingering Wisconsin winter, this was cozy and comfortable. Clean- and communication was excellent. Definitely the top of our list for future stays.

Tranquil Cabin Lovely View

The host was exceptionally nice, the setting is a lovely, very peaceful little area close to the lake in Cambridge. I really liked some of the conveniences they thought of, like not just candles but they left lighters so you could light them, and they explained the tv remote so clearly even I could do it :). We loved the deck and ate out there every meal. Overall, very easy, peaceful stay for our niece's fourth Birthday.
