'Rest, Relax, Recreate' is our motto! Right off bike trail, near lakes, hiking!
Located just 5 miles from downtown Talkeetna.
Enjoy a buddy fishing weekend, romantic getaway, or utilize our outdoor space and bring up family and friends for an amazing retreat. The cabin only sleeps 6 people and sits on 1.7 private acres. Feel free to book a large party utilizing outdoor space. Our new cabin is designed after the "tiny house" movement. We created a space we would love to visit. Luxury in the wilderness! Our bathroom features a 1-2 person infared sauna and corner shower. We have thought of every detail from premier furnishings, stackable washer/dryer, luxurious egyptian cotton sheets and towels, feather and hypoallergenic pillows, to a fully equipped kitchen with a dorm size refrigerator, 20" electric stove with 4 burners, and dish sets for 8. We offer Direct TV 100+channels with a flat screen TV downstairs and one in each loft, as well as free Wifi. Our cabin sits on a 12'x20' foundation and has two lofts each measuring 8'x12'. One loft has a queen bed, one loft has two twin beds, downstairs has a microfiber click-clack sofa which folds down to a bed measuring 70.5"x 30.5" and a twin size 2" memory foam floor-mat lounger. Pack-n-play available upon request. Our loft railings and ladders are custom made with a birch tree designs by a local artist. Although our lofts are quite sturdy we do not feel they would be appropriate for small children or people with limited mobility. The dining area will have a solid wood birch pub table and 4 stools.
Outside hosts a large area for parking, tents, RV hookup with water and electric only (no dumping on-site), or just plenty of room to play. Enjoy our large family size custom fire pit, outdoor small propane BBQ, or front porch with two chairs where you can unwind. All linens provided!
Once you book the cabin the entire property will be yours. There will only be tents/RV on site if you book them with your group. Coming in 2018 we will be adding dry RV camping spots on the adjacent property and Mat Su Borough is building a walking trail to Fish Lake accessible from the cabin.

The perfect getaway!
I surprised my husband with a long weekend at the Tiny Cabin! It couldn’t have been better. Convenient location while also settled back in the quietness and privacy of the woods. Stocked with everything you need to stay in and lots of great suggestions in the Welcome Book to go out. The front porch became our favorite place to play Scrabble and drink coffee, both provided at the cabin. There’s so much to love! Anna was so helpful in making sure our trip was perfect! Whether it’s a short or long stay, the Tiny Cabin is definitely a home away from home...except with a sauna, so better!
Beautiful and a very peaceful cabin
Such a beatutiful place. So much space and very nice applicances.
Beautifully done, private, cozy
Beautifully done "cabin"; it is more of a tiny model home.... it's glorious! Clean, cozy and had all the amentities one could possibly want/need in a home away from home. Two separate lofts, washer and dryer, dishwasher, oven, blender, coffee maker, microwave and a sauna! We were just a short 5 minute drive to fantastic cross country ski trails (XY Lakes) and to a local cafe that has great coffee and breakfast (Flying Squirrel). We were a mere 10min drive to downtown Talkeetna where you can enjoy more fine food and drinks. Views of Denali are exceptional. Lots of moose viewing around the cabin and very close to Hardcore Huskie dog mushing tours. Our stay with our two old dogs was nothing short of wonderful. We can't wait to come back during the summer to utilize the outdoor dining and fire pit. We can't recommend this place enough. Our host, Anna, was very easy to get a hold of and was a superb hostess offering us advice on a call XC ski trails, restaurants, etc.
We loved having you as a guest! Thank you for the wonderful review, and we can't wait to have you back again :-) We are so happy you got to enjoy our 58 inches of snow since February 8, and a beautiful weekend with a clear view of Denali!
This tiny cabin was the perfect mix of being in the wilderness but with all the amenities that I miss when I am camping (shower, coffee maker, wine glasses, comfortable bed). The attention to detail gave the space a homey feel and the host was very communicative making sure we had everything we needed and felt taken care of. We hope come back! Also, great spot for accessing cross country ski trails and other winter activities.
Charming little house
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this tiny Talkeetna house! Very large lot to accommodate family/friends with RV's and/or tents. Traffic can be heard, but it really didn't take away from our experience. The beds were comfortable, the space immaculate, the kitchen had just about everything you might need, and the host is readily available and responsive. Loved drinking my morning coffee on the front porch on those comfy chairs! Wished to stay longer, but had an ill group member and had to head back to Anchorage earlier than anticipated. Thank you for sharing your home.
Thank you so much for the kind review! Sorry your vacation had to be cut short, but we hope to see you again! If you enjoy cross country skiing we will be open all season, and Talkeetna has amazing groomed trails that can be accessed right from the cabin. Hope everyone is feeling well:) Anna

Over 250,000 people from all over the world come to our tiny town every summer to see Denali and experience our quaint village. You will love the atmosphere and history of Talkeetna.
