Esta casa aislada de 1,280 pies cuadrados (119 metros cuadrados) está escondida dentro de tres acres de abetos y bosques de abedules a solo unos pasos de Moose Creek. Su proximidad al Parque Estatal Denali, Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, el histórico Cache Creek / Petersville Mining District, senderos para caminatas, senderos ATV y motos de nieve en el campo y Byers Lake hacen de este el lugar ideal para disfrutar de su verdadera aventura de Alaska. We loved it all: from the peaceful surrounding to the comfy beds to the coffee in the cupboard and the little labels on all the little things. We loved going out to explore Alaska and coming home to this place. If I ever come back, I’m looking this house up!

This house was a perfect, comfortable , really clean quiet oasis. The owner is fantastic and very communicative and had added lots of little extras such as coffee, laundry soap and just about anything you could need! We like to cook and the kitchen is incredibly well stocked to do so.

Small chalet in the Alaskan woods

Our family had a great experience staying in this chalet. It’s clean, comfortable, updated and tastefully decorated with local art works that remind you in a nice way that you are in Alaska! It is in a wooded area yet easily reachable to the main north/south highway of Alaska. The house can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. It would be a bit tight if you have 6 as the third bed is single size.

I've been fortunate to collect photos and artwork from around Alaska and am happy to share the "Alaskan experience" with others in this way. For future guests, please note that the home also has a foldaway floor mat (with extra bedding and pillows) to accommodate a sixth sleeper. I'll make this easier to locate for future guests.

Trapper Creek Chalet

From inquiry to booking to the actual stay, Jessi was quick to respond to questions about the area. She told us Denali is easier to see from the road she is on and the nearby state park lookout than in the National park, so we decided to stay 5 days and it was the best decision of our whole trip. The chalet was spotless, comforting, and thoughtfully full of amenities we didn’t even know we needed. I’ve never stayed anywhere nicer throughout all my travels. Perfect!

Home Away From Home

We came to Alaska to visit family, and to go fishing. We were able to visit family and then come back to the Chalet. It was a nice quiet break. A place to rejuvenate. and then attack the next day. We went fishing but due to being late in the season we did not keep any of the fish we caught. Next year we will come earlier in the season. The Chalet was beautiful. And all the extra's that Jessi has added to the stay were greatly appreciated. We highly recommed this little hide-away in the woods.

This rental far exceeded our expectations. Jessi was quick to respond to questions. The place was amazing. Every detail was thought of from food in the refrigerator, every spice imaginable, binoculars, and the beds were so comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here. Cozy cabin stay

We loved staying at trapper creek. We wanted to stay somewhat near Talkeetna and this was perfect for us. The place is incredibly clean and extremely well stocked. We had fresh eggs and pancakes for breakfast! The beds were super comfortable and the deck was perfect and had a beautiful Forrest view. Our hosts were great communicators as well. Highly recommend

Wonderful Experience

All the comforts of home away from home. We highly recommend this VRBO. The home was very clean and has a decorator’s touch. The host made sure all emergency items (bear spray, bug spray etc.) we’re on hand, as well as many other necessities. The grill, kitchen appliances, and washer & dryer worked perfectly. Enjoy the long summer days from the large deck. We chose Trappers Creek Chalet because it looked like a mountain hideaway, was reasonably close to all our activities in Talkeetna, and on our vacation route to Denali National Park. We were very very pleased. Enjoy!

Must see, great place and close enough to The roadhouse!

Beautiful home / villa with all the comfort of home and soo well supplied and great beds too. This is close to fishing, hiking, visit Talkeetna, Denali and IGA for groceries, Lots of moose to see on the roads, be careful driving morn’n and evening. Great and beautiful cabin. Spectacular Denali views just up the road!

Our large family group of 7 stayed at this cabin and it was SPECTACULAR! It’s a beautiful cabin and Jessi was super communicative and the snacks left out were enjoyed by all. Just a few minutes I up the road are some of the most spectacular views of Denali and it’s out of the way enough to where you can sit in awe for as long as you wish. Would definitely stay here again. The neighbors dogs even came to greet us!

Beautiful place to stay outside Denali, Alaska

Our family had such a wonderful time visiting Alaska for the first time. We struck gold with this property. Everything is thought out! Super clean, beautiful inside, and the host made herself very available for any questions we had. I definitely recommend for a couple or a family!

Clean, modern, and peaceful

The house was absolutely spotless, very well decorated, and had about any kitchen appliance you need to cook with! Multiple types of tea stocked, milk, coffee, creamer, oatmeal, granola, etc. It was a very thoughtful touch from the owner. We had zero issues or wants during our stay. I would stay here again in the future. It was about a 30min drive to talkeetna, or 2hrs to Denali. The drive is very pretty and road is easy to navigate.

Loved this rental!

Comfortable with enough room for five adults. Location allowed easy access to hiking trails in the state park as well as Talkeetna, and an easy two hour drive up to Denali NP. Very clean, and Jessi’s complementary breakfast items, coffees, teas and snacks were wonderful! Would highly recommend this rental!

Cozy Gem in the Woods

This cozy chalet cabin came well-stocked with everything needed to retreat to the woods for a relaxing vacation. Super-clean, great instructions for how to use things and local attractions. Pet friendly. We stayed in the winter, and the large parking area and driveway were nicely plowed. Responsive communication from owner and lots of nice extra touches that elevated the experience.

All Inclusive!

My sister and I enjoyed a few days at this cabin, and were so pleasantly surprised by all the amenities included!! Jessi has thought of everything, and goes above and beyond to provide for her guests and it shows. I flew all the way from Texas, and will definitely be looking up this cabin on my return trips. One short night...

We just got off the ferry in Whittier on our move to fairbanks, and this was a perfect overnight... we had two little kids and a new puppy!! The place and service was amazing for us!!

Excellent Stay

We truly loved our stay at this property. It was so cute and the beds were incredibly comfortable! The owner provided an awesome supply of breakfast and snack items, as well as an assortment of teas, coffee, and juices. Binoculars, flashlights, and basic toiletry items were provided as well. I have already recommended this listing to several friends in Anchorage. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place! We truly loved it!
