After four years of hands-on building and design, it’s become a perfect blend of comfort, craftsmanship, and Alaskan charm.

Inside, you’ll find a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, a comfortable sofa sleeper for two, and all the comforts of home — including a full kitchen, laundry, and fast Wi-Fi. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or a weeklong adventure, you’ll have everything you need to relax and unwind.

Step outside and explore! The Marlin House is just a 15-minute walk from Denali Brew Pub, Talkeetna’s beloved craft brewery, and close to the town’s best restaurants, and local shops. Talkeetna remains an Alaskan "bush" community. Do not expect manicured lawns but the cabin is well furnished with a good bed, internet and tv. I don't think we used the tv but it is available. It is an interesting town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Talkeetna at the Marlin House. It was the perfect Valentine’s Day getaway from the big city. The cabin was easy to locate. It was clean and cozy and warm! We stayed here July 21-23, 2025. It was perfect for us. Very very clean and comfortable. We had a rental vehicle so we drove to the main area of town for shopping, eating etc but walking there is do-able also. We would definitely stay here again!
