Splendide maison située au coeur de Rome dans le quartier "Trastevere", au centre de Rome. Entrée indépendante, la maison est parfaite pour visiter Rome à pied. Toutes les attractions principales sont à seulement 10 minutes à pied. L'appartement se compose de: séjour avec kitchenette complÚte avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner + canapé / lit (1,5). 1 chambre avec lit double, salle de bain avec douche. The host was aware of a prior brake, damaged door and unsecure nor functioning door locks for security. Additional safety concerns include the neighbouring pizza establishment being full aware of joe to enter the apartment. Further the host did not communicate the lack of security and did not provide information on the lack of security information to give us notice to book alternative accommodations. Additional at the time the family left the apartment due to the security risk when the host confirmed that the situation would not be remediate during my family’s stay, an immediate departure was required. The host said the rental fee would be returned but that has not need due after two weeks of waiting. This has meant that I have to left this review.

Great location!!

My husband and I loved this place. The location was perfect to be just outside the city center and have great access to restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet area this may not be for you, but we loved the atmosphere around this area! Would recommend this place for young travelers!

We LOVED this place!!! We’ve heard that Trastevere was the best place to stay in Rome. And it was true, this apartment was just walking distance from bridge sisto very close to the city center and also right on the next street it is full of restaurants and bars and the vibe is soooo coool! And the good thing was that eventhough it is close to all this restaurants at night we didn’t hear a thing. The place is better than in the pictures, beautiful and it has all you need. Also de communication with the host was great! We will definetly return.

Place was hreat

Right in the heart of the neighborhood. Owner was great about getting back to us, check-in was seemless. This is not a complaint if any kind, as we liked the activity and vibrancy if the neighborhood and how centrally located it was - but if you like it quiet and silence this is not your spot

Great location in a happening part of town

Location was great! There is a bar Nextdoor that can create some noise but it didn’t bother us much. When you walk out the door you’re right into the night life but there isn’t much foot traffic outside the door so that also helped with noise. It was the perfect size for the two of us and being that the bedroom is underground it helped keep it very cool in addition to the air conditioners. The host was very pleasant and our stay was so easy! Would recommend!

This property is very close to everything that we wanted to see and do. Beautiful area. The property itself was clean but very damp. The couch is in poor condition- stained and has as a burn hole. The bedspread was also stained.

Apartment is very dark as bedroom and bathroom are in the basement and there are no windows, air isn’t fresh and it’s damp inside. There’s a bar through the wall and you can hear loud music and people talking every night till 2-3am. Location is good.

Great location

This simple VRBO met all our needs. The location is terrific since you're walking distance (or a quick uber ride) from most of the central Rome attractions, but still in the Trastevere neighborhood, which has many resturantes and Cafe to choose from. The house itself was a perfect fit for 2 people. It came equipt with all the kitchen and bathroom accoutrements we needed and the air conditioning was a def plus for the unusually hot Italian autumn. Our host was also very communicative, helpful, and on the ball. As a place to come go from, sleep, and leave our belongings in confidence, i would recommend this rental.

The location was absolutely amazing. The place definitely had its problems though, the stove wouldn’t heat up enough and therefore we couldn’t cook meals. The whole place was VERY damp nothing was dry in there and it had a musty smell. We weren’t in the place all that much other than to sleep so it worked but we would have enjoyed being able to cook. The owner was helpful and nice. The place just needs a refresh.

Nice neighborhood place

I will say that it is loud every evening from the restaurants and bars. Everything echoes. Bring ear plugs The sofa smelled like mold and could not be used. The bed is two cots with a mattress surrounded by a broken bedframe. It was lumpy and smelled of smoke, though it is a smoke free apartment. But the neighborhood is lovely and it is central to everything. I always felt safe and welcome.

Good location - ideal for a few nights

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Rome. The location is ideal and you can walk everywhere from the apartment. We walked to the coliseum, the Trevi Fountain and all the other main historical landmarks in rome. Checkin was easy too using a lockbox. However, the apartment itself is damp, this isn’t helped by the bathroom inside the bedroom which makes the room even damper. There was also a dehumidifier on in the room, however this was not working. Everything seemed a bit dam, including the bedding. No windows downstairs as well as the bedroom is in the basement. Overall, good if you’re not planning on being in the apartment long and are in Rome to sightsee!

The AIR

The place was fun and decorated nicely. Location: great. But the musty/moldy/severely stale air, particularly in the bedroom was absolutely horrible. There is one tiny window upstairs in the kitchen area, and that's IT. NO ventilation / windows downstairs whatsoever! It's obvious the owner realizes this because there is a good size air purifier downstairs and lots of odor-absorbing beads-in-jars strategically placed. (none of those worked btw) Also, communication with her was pretty bad from the get-go. The street is tricky to find and the number 51 of the address is not placed outside the property, (in other words it's blank) leaving us to guess the exact property location simply by the lockbox on the handle of the door. Never going there again. 2 nights of breathing foul air.

Mixed Feelings

The property is in a very lively neighbourhood which is great for finding wonderful restaurants, bakeries and bars. However, that means it is also very noisy so be prepared for that. The apartment was much as listed however the orange couch is stained and has burn holes in it and is very uncomfortable. The stairs are steep to the basement bedroom and the whole place is a little musty and damp. It took 3 days just to dry some t-shirts and undies. The listing says that smoking is allowed however there is a large "No Smoking" sign in the apartment. The wifi info sent from VRBO along with the info in the manual that was left were both incorrect. Also, the manual stated that if you stay for 2 weeks, the cleaner will come in on the Saturday in the middle of your stay. We assumed we would get clean sheets and towels but were informed by the owner that we would have to pay extra for that. We took the sheets and towels to a local laundromat to wash and dry as there was no way they would dry in the apartment itself. Now, with all the seemingly negative stuff, we loved the location and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay. So, if you can put up with some noise and an a funky little apartment then I recommend this place to you.

Bonne communication avec l’hĂŽte via le resto au coin de la rue. Appartement situĂ© dans un trĂšs vieux cartier de Rome. TrĂšs propre, seul bĂ©mol un Bar Ă  cotĂ© pas un resto donc bruyant de minuit Ă  2 h00 du matin, si vous avez le sommeil lĂ©ger.

Sentiment mitigĂ© Ă©galement. Le logement est en effet humide et plutĂŽt sombre (contrairement aux photos de l’annonce). Le canapĂ©-lit est lui aussi dĂ©cevant et les indications concernant la wifi sont en effet erronĂ©es.Toutefois cela ne nous a pas empĂȘchĂ©es de passer un super sĂ©jour. Le logement est extrĂȘmement bien situĂ© ce qui permet de tout faire Ă  pieds et le quartier est vivant. L’hĂŽte est rĂ©active. Les explications sont simples et claires.

Séjour agréable

SĂ©jour agrĂ©able, un logement trĂšs bien placĂ© qui permets d’accĂ©der Ă  tout les monuments de Rome Ă  pied, ou alors en bus car il y a Ă©normĂ©ment d’endroits Ă  proximitĂ© pour prendre un bus. Le logement est agrĂ©able et Ă©quipĂ©, en revanche celui -ci reste trĂšs humide pour la chambre et la salle de bain. Ainsi que le bruit extĂ©rieur qui est assez prĂ©sent surtout la nuit.
