About the host

Hosted by Michael Luke or Elizabeth Gensler

Host profile image
Originally from the San Diego area of Southern California, both Michael and Elizabeth have always enjoyed the lifestyle and abundance of outdoor activities that ocean living provides. Leaving behind high powered careers, Southern California traffic, and a fast-paced life, we decided to trade it all in to experience the Pura Vida vibe that permeates this wonderful country. We fell in love with the people, the culture and the beauty of living in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica and have not looked back.

Why they chose this property

The area of Pavones and the Osa peninsula have been relatively untouched by development. It is a place to experience world class surfing, fishing, secluded beaches, majestic waterfalls and exotic wildlife. The modern home has all the creature comforts while being surrounded by lush jungle and some of the most spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean this area has to offer. The rugged beauty is guaranteed to take your breath away.

What makes this property unique

Sitting a few hundred feet above sea level where the ocean breezes keep the air fresh, the house is easily accessible from the main road in the safe and secure neighborhood of Cuervito de Pavones. The property is a working farm with a wide variety of fruit trees and tropical gardens, greenhouse, herb garden, coffee and cacao, and farm fresh eggs from the chicken coop. The property has outstanding potable water and can be enjoyed right out of the tap.Enjoy it all during your stay at Paraiso de Miguel.
